Now to say some things that are will put panties in a was, but are necessary for perspective on the issue. I'd encourage the other veterans to weigh in on the importance of perspective on this.

Offense and appropriation are no excuse to fly off the handle as a veteran. Most of this board is guilty of using principals and values that men placed their lives on the table as a bet behind those values. As Blik Mang explains;

Here they're thrown around loosely and frequently. Yet not only is RVF brazenly guilty of this, but most young men in the greater public sphere. The simple truth is you can't stop it or get civilians to understand that they don't know what they're talking about. For someone with PTSD like Ali, it's important that he someday learns to let these things go so he can have better peace.

No for those of you posturing as vanguards for the sanctity of veteran sacrifice, stop. We don't need your protection and nearly always when it's done, political ambitions or notions are always married to the cause. If you really want to show respect for tangible action of the military;
-stop trivializing military services in order to posture yourself as intellectually superior
-stop degrading the ability or will of the armed forces because a few trannys or gays slip in
-stop downplaying military history or successes in order to posture yourself as more alpha
-stop advocating for the use of physical force or any widespread conflict unless your ass is willing to get on that line, if you're even physically able to get on that line

With that said, I could care less what opinions or actions you men choose. It's your right and free will to do as you see fit. Those ideas I provided are a few ways to tangibly show you're not just a talker, but understand how very cheap talk really is.

Bottom line is Ali is a good man, but he must come to terms with how the world is and how our western culture is going to mold ideas around the military, unintentionally disrespectful or not.

Best luck to you Ali. I hope you find better happiness no matter what your path is ahead of you.

1) have you served? I have not so I do not speak as if I have. Just wondering if you have. Seems like you have based on your post but it doesn't outright mention it. Just curious.
2) how do you know Ali has PTSD? This has been mentioned a couple of times. Not just by you. I think that is a big statement to make.

Tony, if this isn't directed at me, apologies.

I wasn't inferring that he never made a quality post. How else could he have become a pillar of the forum? 99.9% of us would never get our own thread from Roosh if we were banned.

I said I can't recall reading a quality post from him. In his defense, the majority of my time is spent in Everything Else. That is where I came to know him for his one-liners and comic relief. I know he added a lot of value to the travel and game threads (which I don't visit often), as well as in personal meetups. I always looked up to him as a poster and wasn't trying to diminish the impact he has had on everyone here.

Yes. I have discussed being at war with Ali before also. He openly acknowledged he had problems of some sort with combat and reintegration on many of the military oriented threads. It's obvious that he had some heartache over the daily happenings of civilian life and his past.

I made my post to say that though he was a valued member of the forum, it may have become detrimental to him and better off for him to find community and happiness elsewhere, especially among in person interactions with guys from around the sphere.

The entire manosphere can house quite a bit of existential nihilism that can be unhealthy for people like veterans who hold a heavy emphasis on physically action or bold assertion of their moral values and causes. It isn't that anyone in particular is wrong, but that the two modes of tackling life aren't all that congruent. This is a necessary realization to have before you can merge back into the regular world successfully.

When you run hard how many taxis a day are you willing or mentally capable of dealing with per day?

We consider the driver a friend and know he has kids and shit he leaves to play our games that we have to work at he himself could do all day long 0 effort.

I was standing in line at a Bank last Monday. The queuing ropes ran parallel to six teller windows. I've come across chargrilled animals after bushfires. Hell, I worked part-time in an abattoir in my Uni years.

I could not get any closer than five teller windows away from Big Blue. Eventually, a woman lined up behind me, and after much passive-aggressive sighing and exaggerated tongue-clicking on her part she finally asked "Are you in line?"

Miss Empowered smugly-marched ahead of me with head raised high, then slowed down almost-instantly, as if she'd tried to march into surf.

I'll offer her respect that was due: she stopped three windows away.

Oblivious to this, H.R. HuffnPuff took a duckface selfie of herself (!) just before the teller called her over, the poor teller almost visibly-wincing as the smell hit her through the narrow gap in the plastic window, but soldiering on regardless. That's some goddamn customer service, right there.

Do I 'hate' that woman? I remember the stink far more than her face. Hell, I only remember her clothes and hair because she was such a walking cliché. 'Invisible' is accurate: if it wasn't for the god-awful funk of forty-thousand walking corpses screaming and clawing their way out of burial plots of her sweaty fat girl crevasses to consume the flesh of the entire population of the planet, I most likely would have mistaken her for some kind of 60's retro couch for customers.

Any girl who doesn't want innocent bystanders of personal encounters with them into an army of Cryptkeepers repeating ghoulish tales to terrify the boys and ghouls should simply stop eating more calories than they burn through exercise.
