In all fairness, the primary reason for members not criticizing other annoying or low-value members is because that falls squarely under moderators' duties.

Regular members never get a chance "to say these things to his face", and for a good reason - it would lead to utter chaos and disarray as the forum divides itself into warring clans over every single disagreement!

Rest assured that there was plenty of serious complaining about Aliblahbla's behaviour going on in private messages and it's not a case of people who never had a beef with him coming out to gang up on the innocent fallen just to get likes.

That said, of course Aliblahbla will be missed. His troll story still remains one of the most hilarious posts ever made on this forum.

I having nothing bur respect for Aliblahbla, I have met Ali in person, He is a solid Man. I will say this no body disrespects him in this thread.

Me and Roosh talked about our respect for Veterans which increased immensely after the last 10 days under contant battle like conditions, Mob chasing us and every Feminists groups searching for us in Motreal and Toronto.Constant alertness and the feeling that someone is out there to hurt you is a not good Visceral feeling. Darn. Ali B was the only other forum member I knew that could talk about the smoky mountains area and Dolly Parton Hillbilly/southern hybrid kind of girl.

He was the master of meltdowns, before there were meltdown threads. He was like James Brown doing the 'cape act' having spectacular meltdowns, quitting the forum, and then coming back with guns blazing, then quitting, then coming back in spectacular style.

Ali helped me more than I could have asked for when I was planning my first trip solo abroad to the DR.

When your put your photo there like that it can be viewed as you are comparing yourself to a solider. But never having been bombed, shot at, watched your friends die, and things of that nature. People who serve in hostile territory can take shit like this very serious. Specially the fake people wearing uniforms that has been trending kind of lately... stolen valor I think they call it

I can see that, but its a far stretch. I saw the pic more of "Army of Roosh" type thing, battling against the Canadians or whatever the hell they've been doing up there in North USA lately.

To borrow from lib-lingo, the term would be "appropriation". Words and phrases like brotherhood, war, masculinity, fighting, making a stand, etc. take on entirely different meanings once you've played in the sandbox. Here they're thrown around loosely and frequently. It's easy to forget that many topics of discussion at RVF are internet-based reactions to internet-based problems, and for guys who've seen the other side (where these same words have tangible meanings and consequences), it's a source of frustration very difficult to come to terms with.

Beyond this, Marine Corps culture has no parallel in the civilian world. I knew and served alongside many proud, balls-to-the-wall, hardened warriors wearing the EGA. There's no men on earth you'd rather have watching your back. They're the vanguard. While I haven't read Ali's PM (the actual cause of the ban, that needs to be clear) and while I'm not offended personally, I can speculate and appreciate why he might be.

From what he told me, it was other picture that bothered him about friends of free speech. I understand why those pictures bothered him. Fighting feminist is is very different from tying a tourniquet on your best friend with bullets flying, so he doesn't bleed out. Ali came here to travel the world, have sex, and talk about it with like-minded people. The hating women thing wasn't his go-to. I was happy to throw down some beers with the guy and I'll continue to call him a friend. He also told me of several members on the forum who have helped him out over the years and his exact words were, "I would do anything for those guys."
