I don't care what others think, never did, never will. Both, but ego plays a bigger role than most will admit.

One chick that I'd been banging off and on for years.

Face is kinda busted, but her body was right, sex skills on point, submissive to me. Her personality seemed to grate (I've wifed up worse), but more importantly my friends were like eww. Had to sneak around to bang her.

The simple answer is no, I don't care what anybody thinks about anything. Usually, but not always, the higher your notch count is, the more ugly girls you have on your resume and the more quality girls you also get. Look there are always going to be the girls you bang way the hell out of sight, with the lights off and do all kinds of crazy stuff with (while you're thinking about someone else)... and other girls you parade out in front of your friends, take to parties / out on the town, etc. It's the guys who can't compartmentalize both types that end up being too "picky" and end up getting laid a lot less. As for me personally, I have high enough standards that it's very rare that my friends would even comment on the quality of girls I date. I have dated some where the friends don't find them real attractive, but it's not like they consider them a ugly or a wreck. The biggest mistake I have consistently made in game over the course of my life has been thinking I was too good to bang girls below a certain standard.

@OP: Of course, there's only 2-3 people whose opinion I value.

Once you have been with over a certain amount of women, you learn to trust your own judgment over others because you have faith in your ability to bring out a side in her that others won't see.

It is just looks, nothing else. I personally won't fuck a girl more than 3 times unless she meets a certain standard so I suppose I don't really care except 2-3 people because I trust my judgment and furthermore, my track record speaks for itself as do my standards.
