It comes down to the Democratic base. If Hillary Clinton wins the nomination then the Democratic base will be demoralized because their candidate was Bernie Sanders. It is estimated that 33% of Bernie supporters will not vote for Hillary if she gets the nomination. When you have a demoralized base, combined with a hot Trump campaign whose supporters cannot wait to get to the voting booth you have a recipe for disaster at camp Hillary.

If Bernie Sanders does get the nomination on the other hand, it is expected that Hillary's supporters are much more likely to vote for Bernie than the other way around all while keeping his democratic base intact. Another thing is that Bernie Sanders does much better than Hillary with independent voters.

Also, another big reason why Sanders will be tough to beat is his appeal with middle class and blue collar workers who are struggling. If you notice, Trump and Sanders policies on trade are very similar, very much alike actually. Both Trump and Sanders do not take money from special interests. They are actually quite similar in a lot of ways.

Trump can easily destroy Hillary and call her out on her corruption, and love for the big banks, and how she takes money from donors and special interests. He won't be able to do that with Bernie.

So yes essentially Bernie will be a more tougher opponent to beat than Hillary would, in fact many polls have come out stating that if its Bernie vs. Trump, Bernie wins.

I'm blue collar and it can be tempting to drink the Sanders kool aid but it's got cyanide in it.

Sanders income redistribution system could not possibly work with an open invitation to the entire third world.

Trump has answers for people who actually like to work. Close the border, stop being world police and providers of food and medicine, tariffs, no shitty new trade deals and attempt to tear up the ones we have.

I agree. Its no question that Trump has the better plan.

But, like you said, that Sanders kool aid can be very tempting when you have blue collar workers who are struggling to get by.

Trump vs. Hillary- All Trump has to do is call her out on her corruption and taking money from special interests, her emails, etc...

In a Trump v Sanders matchup, there is also the wildcard of terrorism coming into play. Sanders looks like a weak pussy who lets his podium get taken over by a bunch of black women, and meanwhile a massive terror attack happens killing thousands. Trump would theoretically call out Sanders as too weak to lead the nation in war, and I could seriously see this tactic working very well.

Never underestimate fear. It's how Reagan won as well, there was a disastrous operation in Iran under Carter and Reagan was perceived as the strong candidate to fix foreign relations. And Reagan did help America dominate the world and ultimately crushed the USSR. Trump will also get this positive perception.

I think, no matter who the Democratic nominee is, Trump is going to get a massive boost at the polls due to terrorism this summer and fall. Too many angry Muslims and sympathetic Liberals for it not to happen.

There is no way to tell it's not a knock off. I'm not even sure how one can tell that it would specifically be a real or knock-off of a submariner.

$4k is still a lot of money for a watch. I've had a stainless Submariner for 14 years. Submariners have been one of the most, if not the most popular Rolex model for the better part of 20 years. You're not gonna get a 2-tone Submariner for $4K, when I can sell mine for what I paid for it ($3800) with minimal hassle.

But this is all moot. I stand by my original point. Don't wear such a conspicuous symbol of status when you go out to whine about being a victim.

Healthcare is far from just being young and fit all young people prop up the system.

All of us will get old and things health wise will break down. Accepting that most of us will need health services when older puts things into perspective.

Having wide access to healthcare does not make people fat or more unhealthy.
