Why doesn't this happen? Because powerful economic interests have donated massive amounts of money to both democrats and republicans.

They can also threaten economic consequences. They can shut down domestic production leading to increases in price in addition to even higher unemployment. It's the whole "too big to fail" argument. The extent the threats are valid or the consequences worth enduring is another discussion, of course. But the fact is for a politician, they have to at least consider the possibility.

Otherwise, yes, I completely agree with the assessment that economic disincentives to employers can help stop illegal immigration.

But it'll work best with a wall, too. There's also the issue of drug trafficking on the Mexican border, and stifling the demand for coke and meth is at least as hard, if not harder than stifling the demand for illegal labor.

I am 80% sure I will vote for Bernie Sanders. I live in a state where the Sanders/Clinton split is 50/50. Trump meanwhile has a 30 point lead.

I figure if the win goes to Sanders, yet Sanders goes on to lose the nomination, more Sanders voters will be demoralized and have a weaker turnout in the general, helping Trump. Since Trump doesn't need my help winning the primary in my state, the next logical choice is to help him win the general. Therefore I should vote Sanders.

I can then tell all the liberal chicks in my state that I voted Sanders, and get some easy bangs as well. But this is merely a pleasant side effect.

Sanders does everything he can to pander to minorities and gets cucked by BLM girls and then minorities go and reject him totally. Blacks voting 3/4 for Clinton.

I can understand why Sanders supporters feel berned, all the pretty little lies from their campaign dissipates once the tribal reality of minority voting becomes clear.

Blessing in disguise for the Trump campaign. A lot of Sanders supporters must be very disillusioned now.

Oh shit, I read it wrong. The threshold in my state for delegates is only 5%. Meanwhile the difference between Bernie and Hillary is 3% in the polls. Back to thinking my vote matters more for Bernie than Trump!

Hillary will lock down the nomination. Bernie is too pathetic even for most liberals to vote for.
