RE: Why are people on this forum so anti-Bernie Sanders?
If marijuana legalization is one of your main concerns at this dark time in our history please don't vote, way more important shit to worry about.
Personally I'm perfectly happy smoking my illegal herb, as long as this country gets back on track.

RE: Why are people on this forum so anti-Bernie Sanders?
One's immediate personal safety and not being dragged out of their house (or car) and thrown into prison is, of course, a top priority.
Trump favors state's rights on this issue. In the past he's spoken more boldly by favoring legalization to take away the profit source for the cartels.

I've been clear right in this thread, and on other threads, Trump is my #1 candidate. You're telling me not to vote?
I don't think you thought this through.

RE: Why are people on this forum so anti-Bernie Sanders?
I'll quote something I posted in a different thread when explaining why I bet cash money on Sanders:
Quote:Remember the scene in the Godfather II where Michael Corleone is visiting Cuba, and sees a Cuban rebel blow himself up with a grenade, killing an officer in the process, rather than be taken alive? He realizes at that moment that the rebels will win, and decides not to invest with Hyman Roth. He reflects on how the soldiers were paid to fight, but the rebels weren't.
He saw their enthusiasm and momentum.
I had a similar moment of clarity when I watched some video footage of Sanders' supporters. One lady about 50 years old was interviewed. She was some sort of physical therapist/home health aide, making really low pay. She had never donated before, was short on cash, yet had just made a 400 dollar donation to Sanders, and was eager to give more when she scrapped together the cash.
This struck a cord with me, so I looked up Sanders' campaign funding.
People can say all the bullshit they want, but at the end of the day, money is the most reliable indicator of where people's real enthusiasm is.
It turns out Sanders raised 73 million USD in 2015, from over 1 million different donors who made a total of 2.5 million donations.
That tells me he can and will win.
I might be wrong, and maybe I will lose that 5K.
Please note, I don't actually support Sanders. For the most part I don't really care who wins. The only thing that I really am against is Hillary Clinton as president. I think it is ridiculous for the presidency to be passed back and forth between a couple of families. I also think she is a dishonest unqualified cunt. Both Trump and Sanders have oratorical and leadership ability. Trump probably more so. The only thing I dislike about Trump is he seems inclined to more bullshit wars. Seriously, pull the fuck out of these third world shit holes, and use threat of nuclear retaliation to keep the savages in line.
As for blacks hating Sanders, I think they just haven't had much exposure to him. Blacks are disproportionately poor, so I would imagine they would flock to Sanders if it came to him vs Trump. But then again, blacks hate Mexicans and immigrants a lot since they threaten low wage jobs, so maybe Trump will appeal to them.

I think blacks are finally wising up to the fact that liberals only use them for a voting block. They'd rather these people stay in poverty and effectively buy their votes by promising free things to them. Common core has fucked them, open borders have fucked them, higher taxes fuck them, on and on and on.
Blacks also respond to strong leaders. Hillary has bigger balls than this pussy.

Most of that sounds good. Hope he means what he says.
Only two points I didn't quite get -
1. How would he get cooperation from Putin? That guy is a smart motherfucker and has the powers of a dictator, unlike the US president.
2. Why bother fighting ISIS? There is no need for the USA to get involved in the Sunni-Shia religious wars. Especially in a multi year conflict with no end in sight. Let the savages fight it out, whoever wins will still sell their oil on the world market to anyone with cash. If any group of savages, like Saudi Arabia on 9/11, happens to gain the capacity to threaten the US homeland, make it clear that there will be a response with nuclear weapons.

RE: Why are people on this forum so anti-Bernie Sanders?
This is what I imagine the average Bernie supporter to be like. You cannot have kids voting. Back in the day 18 year olds had seen tough life experiences, they understood consequences, etc.
These kids will fuck this country over. Their demand for people to pay their "fair share" of the taxes always sounds funny. What exactly is fair? Just an opinion is what it is. I can get behind trying to get corporations to stop keeping money offshore to pay taxes, but to tax people who probably worked harder than these social media obsessed kids more just because they want shit annoys me.
Just a 20 second clip of this kid trying to convince someone to support Bernie. It is about something other than taxes but just his mannerisms and voice.

I am a Bernie Sanders supporter and I guarantee I don't sound like that. It is discomforting being aligned with the ilk that surrounds Bernie Sanders but aligning yourself with Trump puts you around some questionable people as well.
Why would you be so defensive about a simple post, with a little bit of fun in there? Maybe you don't sound like him but by being this way it seems like you may have more in common with that guy in the video than you want to admit to. You should have just let a random anonymous internet post slide, instead you have shown that a little stupid joke on my part got underneath your skin and you let it show. Hold your frame, don't swing at the pitch.
I hope you can objectively see that I have a point and am trying to help, not trying to just take a cheap shot at you, that isn't my nature.
Only thing I sort of like about Bernie is his desire to bring big banks into some sort of order.

The problem is that under Islam, the presence of a Caliph reactivates huge sections of the Islamic scriptures that are currently lying dormant. For instance, Islam compels its followers to migrate to the territory of a caliph once he is recognized -- which is why thousands of Muslims are now doing just that. It also reactivates a bunch of punishments, such as being required to cut off the hands of thieves, which apparently isn't mandated if there is no caliph in power. It also reactivates expansionism at large. The texts say that if a caliph doesn't at least attempt to expand the territory of the caliphate every year, he should be removed.
Islam is just straight-up dark evil Borg-like shit. Shit getting "reactivated" like in some sci-fi movie.
All that stuff from the left about ISIS being "not real islam" is a bare faced lie. ISIS citizens are required to follow Islam to the letter, and nothing else. Everything they're chanting on TV is direct from scripture, unadulterated. ISIS is an ignition of Islam, not a pervertion, and it needs to be put out now before it reignites the now billion strong of Islam.

Ummm...even without a Caliph, countries like Saudi Arabia and others in the region do all sorts of barbaric shit like cut off people's hands and heads or crucify people (crucification after they are already dead, but still...).
Really, I see no reason whatsoever for a single American life to be lost in that cesspool, or a single dollar to be spent.

The only reason the USA gets involved is to advance the economic interests of global trading elites and arms dealers.
The average US citizen is already perfectly safe. You probably have a greater chance of getting eaten by a bear than killed by an Islamic terrorist.
And that's all these savages will ever be. Half bit terrorists who, once in a while, if they get really lucky, can possibly kill a few dozen or few hundred Americans. And when they do this, a response with cruise missiles or bombing is fine. Kill ten of them for one of us. And if they somehow pull off another 9/11, nuke one of their cities, and make it clear that if they ever do that shit again, two Muslim cities will be nuked.
There is ZERO chance that they could ever threaten US territorial integrity or military supremacy.
And in 25-50 years when the oil runs out, their elite will run away to London with stolen wealth, and the countries will go back to herding camels.

RE: Why are people on this forum so anti-Bernie Sanders?
Thinking that Radical Islam is not a threat because they are far from the USA is being myopic.
The USA's strategy is based on Kant's "Perpetual Peace" and the idea that similar governing structures promote peace and different governing structures promote conflict.
From here, we see that Islamic countries have a higher tendency towards less civil liberties, autocracy, as well as theocratic rule and socialized economies, which go against , in every line, to the prototype of the western liberal democracy the USA intends to export (sometimes in a contradictory way with some actions I can't understand such as trying to destroy Bashar for other interests...).
The more time passes, the more momentum Islam will rally, and the last time they did this, around some 1000-ish years ago, we can safely say it wasn't pretty AT ALL and they multiplied their religious influence almost tenfold.
Are we really gonna sit this out and let them do it again?
"Christian love bears evil, but it does not tolerate it. It does penance for the sins of others, but it is not broadminded about sin. Real love involves real hatred: whoever has lost the power of moral indignation and the urge to drive the sellers from temples has also lost a living, fervent love of Truth."

The only reason Islam is a threat is because we have traitors forcibly importing them into our countries. Otherwise we could ignore them and let them all kill each other.
Instead, they are "refugees" and other bullshit, and they bring war into our lands. Bernie Sanders will bring tons of Muslims into our countries, just like the current Obama administration is doing.
The only guy who is talking about keeping them out is Trump. The only guy talking about a wall is Trump. The only guy who brings up the tough issues is Trump.
