Most chicks who are into sports just arent feminine, both in looks and personality. No more explanation necessary.

Depends on which sports the chicks are involved in. I find chicks who do rock climbing, diving, gymnastics, volleyball, pole vaulting & the odd track runner or so generally hot. Haven't met a powerlifter, hammer thrower or judoka who gets my boner going.

I value athletic females.... If I see a girl thats hot and looks like she works out I will approach her and say "So are you into fitness?" When she says she is I say ... "Well how bout fitness dick in your mouth" 40% of the time it works 100% of the time

You guys are over thinking it. Midget wrestling is the only time I would sit and watch smaller, slower, and weaker athletes.

RE: Why isn't female atheleticism more valued by men?
I'll be open and honest about it - I absolutely value female athleticism for a wide variety of reasons.

1. It's the only real anti aging solution to women - keeps bodies tighter, longer. If I ever go down the marriage route you can damn well be sure she'll be athletic. I know Eastern European women are semi-worshipped on this forum, and for good reason - they are beautiful. But I am from Eastern Europe originally and I have seen the flip side of it my entire life - gorgeous women crashing into the wall harder than Princess Diana and Dale Earnhart in an Uber taxi. And you see this from age 30 onwards because there is no anti aging culture in the area (or t least there wasn't when I was little).

2. Someone with athletic commitments is less likely to go on the "happy hour guuurls night" drinking and cheating on your man streaks. Athletes require discipline, and discipline is a quality that is rare nowadays. American women are now almost guaranteed to be drunk whores. Athletes aren't.

3. An athletic partner is more likely to pass down those qualities to children, ensuring your son becomes Chad Thundercock Jr instead of a nerdy beta who might need his own red pill discovery moment later in life.

Now - we come to crossroads - the Serena Williams issue. No, she is not attractive, but using her as a benchmark for female athlete attractiveness is identical to a fat woman saying that she doesn't want to exercise because she "doesn't want to look like a man" and "keep her curves".

And yeah - women's sports are completely irrelevant to my interests outside of the Olympics. Almost unwatchable.

I mean look at the women's soccer world cup - it had a domestic violence scandal and still no one gave a shit

Yup. She's bad.

My friends make fun of me because I like fit chicks with abs. Ugh, disgusting they say.

I like feminine women too. But a fit girl always have a great body well past wall, as you said, as long as they don't over do, which is very hard.

No fucks given over other peoples opinions.

OP could have chosen anyone other than serena williams thread would be totally different. And he picked the worst pic of her on top of that.

I'm on team volleyball too. It's almost as the sport was created for the sole purpose of crafting the finest ass that the heavens would approve of.

RE: Why isn't female atheleticism more valued by men?
The issue here is that there's a big difference between athletic girls and competitive athletes.

Girls working out and eating well = good

Girls destroying their joints playing competitive sports = bad

I do wonder if men who prefer
Highly muscled, masculine, strong jawed looking athletic women to softer feminine, curvy ( not whale fat though) women are entirely secure in their sexuality.

RE: Why isn't female atheleticism more valued by men?
I dated a beach volleyball player when I was living in LA. I met her at the gym when she was rehabbing an ankle injury and we dated for 3 months before I watched her play. I quickly decided it's women being openly competitive that I don't like. When men compete it's distinctly masculine, when women compete it's catty at best but usually comes off as too manly.

To Ms. Williams. As I've said before, women only call other women beautiful if they believe they are many times more attractive. If they can get people to accept the Williams sisters as beautiful, then even average women are elevated to goddess-like levels of attractiveness by comparison.

While we're on the subject, do you guys find Fitness chicks to be less approachable and more snobby than others? I've never officially approached one but in my occasional interactions with them, both inside and outside of the gym, they always seem to send out that kind of vibe...

Just curious if it's only my perception or if in general this is true from y'alls experience.

And for reference, by "fitness chick" I mean chicks who look like the pic Cr33pin posted. Not overly masculine but obviously lift and have some muscle, while staying lean and keeping their soft feminine curvature...

I love female athletes specifically: tennis, volleyball, soccer (notice I did not say football), and track. They help make tall and athletic babies. You can have 95%+ of the female basketball players though Confused

My experience with them is that they have real princess attitudes in that they think/know they're "all that" because they are super independent and bust ass at the gym. They are masculine minded.

Now girls who casually stay in shape, e.g. running and light exercise without trying to make gains like they are some body builder or wannabe fitness model are AOK. Thats just general healthy life-style choices.

RE: Why isn't female atheleticism more valued by men?
Athleticism is just one trait. While it may signify other things (good genes, a woman's ability to keep herself in good shape), it's just one aspect of personality and general has no bearing on looks.

Take the example of the USWNT that won yesterday:

Abby Wambach - lesbian, looks butch
Noted domestic abuser Hope Solo - crazy eyes, will beat you up
Carli Lloyd (hat trick yesterday) - not unbangable
Sydney LeRoux (ESPN darling) good looking, but needs to lose the tattoos
Alex Morgan - solid 8-9

There's also seems to be a dividing line between team and individual sports. Individual sports like golf, tennis and gymnastics tend to have more feminine women than team sports like soccer. My theory on this is that individual athletes need to have far more marketability, and femininity sells.

RE: Why isn't female atheleticism more valued by men?
Men are attracted to feminine traits: traits that have to do with child bearing, child rearing, nurturing, and related to the cultivation of a food supply.

Men, the hunters, need to have their flanks protected by a woman who can handle and manage the home front for them. Men do not want competitors. They don't want women who can hurl a javelin as far as they can. They don't want or need a woman who can outrun him in a 50 yard dash.

Those things do not stoke the fire in a man's loins. We can admire the bodies of female athletes, but could care less about their achievements.

Men are concerned with female health only insofar as it related to procreation and those other tasks mentioned above.

This is why female competitive athletics do not kindle sexual passion in men.

Point eloquently explained further in depth. Case closed folks.

My girl is a fitness model and personal trainer.

A, she's in the gym to train, not to interact with men (much the same as most men in the fitness section here).

B, she's tried putting the resting bitch face away and is constantly harassed by thirsty losers. It's a defence mechanism and it works. Even when we are working out together it seems most of the gym is spending most of its time staring at her. If the roles were reversed It'd annoy me too.

Ay - ass is ass - we value the ass not more, because it can run faster than us.

Some less attractive female athletes have a hard time finding Mr. Right. Their athletic merits matter not much to men. A man when looking at an unattractive world class athlete is not thinking: "I am going to have some ugly, but super-fit boys and girls with that woman."

This is not how we are wired.

Sorry but this sounds just like feminist shaming language to me. Guys approaching women and trying to talk to them are "thirsty losers". It sounds like you are making excuses for females to be complete cunts to people which is bullshit. And I think you misunderstood my use of the word "interact".
