Quote:Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump debated the use of the term “anchor baby” with a reporter at a press conference in New Hampshire on Wednesday.

Trump was asked, “You said that you have a big heart, and that you’re not mean-spirited. Are you aware that the term ‘anchor baby,’ that’s an offensive term? People find that hurtful.”

Trump responded, “You mean it’s not politically correct, and yet everybody uses it?” He then suggested the reporter give him a different term to use, to which the reporter suggested “The American-born [children] of undocumented immigrants.” Trump said in response, “I’ll use the word ‘anchor baby.'”

That's like passing a shit test.

Take care of those titties for me.

RE: The Donald Trump thread
Trump is building up a legitimate grassroots excitement that rivals what Obama did in 2008. Meanwhile, Hillary's campaign is imploding. This email scandal is going to sink her. Even if she ultimately manages to escape criminal charges, the damage to her image and campaign will prove fatal. Democrat big wigs are beginning to realize this fact, and Hillary supporters on the ground are confused and demoralized. The universal question being asked is: how did she manage to fuck this up so badly? This primary was supposed to be a coronation, and the general election a cakewalk - and yet now she won't even be the nominee. This woman is a disaster as a politician, she literally must rank as one of the worst of all time. It makes sense, really, when you consider the fact that her political career is based entirely off her husband getting a blowjob from a chubby Jewish girl. Hillary the politician is literally just Bill Clinton's name recognition + public sympathy for her being so publicly cheated on. That's it. That's all she's ever had.

Another thing I've noticed (not here, on other sites/news articles) is a lot of comments about how Trump is going to fade in the polls as soon as another GOP candidate gets the bright idea to steal his talking points and policy positions. This is false. It is true that much of Trump's appeal is his refreshingly populist stance on issues the GOP has been ignoring, but many people are still completely discounting the appeal of Trump's personality. Indeed, it seems as if most "serious" commenters are still treating Trump's personality as a liability, when in reality it is by far his greatest asset. This is going to become more clear as the GOP field narrows down and especially if Trump makes it to the general election. People don't just like Trump because he says things they agree with, they like Trump because he comes across as an alpha male, a winner, a leader. The medium is the message is the quote made famous by Marshall McLuhan (his book is worth reading), and that is exemplified in the case of Trump. He is his message - he's a billionaire, supremely confident, never apologizing, optimistic about the future, married to a stunningly beautiful woman. The ultimate winner. America loves a winner. America wants to be a winning country again. Donald Trump is the personification of a winner and people are quite simply drawn to winners, even if they can't explain why.

"For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away. But the word of the Lord endureth forever.” - 1 Peter 1:24-25

RE: The Donald Trump thread
I saw a GOP pundit on twitter saying that this video would be "The end of the Trump Campaign".

For those who don't want to watch it, it's two minutes of Jeb Bush talking about how Trump isn't a "real conservative", as if anybody in the world didn't already know that. The man has no charisma, and he's practically mumbling the whole way through the video.

This is how clueless our pundits are, that they think this is an effective attack. After watching how the party's responded to Trump, I've come to the conclusion that it's not that I disagree with them, it's just that they're stupid.

Good post. However, I'd say Trump is the closest thing to a "real" conservative in the traditional sense of the word, of any candidate that's running now, possibly with the exception of Rand Paul.

It's Bush and some of the others who are not real conservatives but basically nothing more than quasi democrats/liberals.

A conservative is a conservative and that has remained unchanged for decades if not longer. It's Bush and the other cuckservatives who left the true Conservative reservation years ago. Now they're conservatives in name only.

Trump is the only one championing the traditional conservative values.

The Jebs of the world only pay conservative values lip service while sucking up to the establishment.

Trump manages to prove the truth of many principles of game.

GOP establishment candidates (what some have derisively called "cuckservatives") have also managed to prove at least one maxim of game: don't listen to what they say, watch what they do. The Jeb Bushes, John Boehners and Mitch McConnells of the world all scream for conservative policies and then promptly surrender.

The average voter seems to have caught on...

Apparently Deez Nuts has entered the race

Quote:TRUMP LEADS IN NC, SURPRISE CANDIDATE MAKES POLL

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump's lead continues to grow in North Carolina, according to a poll released Wednesday by liberal-leaning Public Policy Polling but it's the surprise inclusion of an independent candidate that's turning heads.

The new PPP poll revealed independent candidate Deez Nuts is polling at 9 percent in the Tar Heel state. The name is from a legal document to register as a candidate. Running as an independent from Wallingford, Iowa; population 197, Deez Nuts has gone viral and has a large fan base.

The Daily Beast claimed in a post Wednesday night to have tracked Mr. Nuts down, and reported he's actually a 15-year-old named Brady Olson.

A spokesperson for the Federal Election Commission told told ABC11 that the person had met the requirements to be listed as running, but the person's real name was not included.

I spent 7 years to get my EU passport legally (not full or even half time, just months waiting for documents, realizing they would never be sent, and then finding alternate ways to get them) , and now I hear the country is swamped with North Africans. Although I personally haven't done much for the (deliberately unnamed) country, my ancestors up to my grandfather helped to build that culture, so I feel some resentment.

Interesting. Has this ever worked for any of you? If a girl tells me to give her my number I just refuse because I know it means she's not interested. I'm surprised Donald did this, from a game standpoint, but of course he's Donald Trump. He's operating in a whole different league than me.

Precisely. I just finished reading a book of essays by Kurt Vonnegut - Wampeters, Foma, and Granfalloons, and one passage really stuck out to me.

Vonnegut is recalling the 1972 election between Nixon and McGovern, where McGovern got taken behind the barn:

He writes, after discussing Winners and Losers in America:
As for the Nixon versus McGovern thing: Everybody was sure that Nixon would win. McGovern, I gathered, though nobody said so out loud, was the butt of a rather elegant practical joke. He was a Winner who had been encouraged by other Winners to identify himself with Losers, to bury himself up to his neck in the horseshit of Populism, so to speak. Losers hate to vote for Losers. They know what Losers are. So Nixon would win.

From the essay 'In a Manner that Must Shame God Himself'

A man who procrastinates in his choosing will inevitably have his choice made for him by circumstance.

Just watched the CNN interview with Cuomo. That guy is such a little twat.

He makes all these snarky remarks that he filmed in the editing room about singular statements made by Trump out of context but during the interview says "I would never take you out of context".

If you're wondering why he's being such a bitch, it came out during their phone interview the other day when Cuomo got upset and said "you said you would sue my parents for having me"!

He just doesn't know for sure if that's the best way to get rid of them yet.

Anyway I think I have spotted Trump's Achilles Heel. He is so sure of himself that he will put words in other peoples' mouths to make the case for whatever he is saying.

He may slip up and use some person of clout in one of his stories and then they will be interviewed with a sound bite saying "I would never endorse Trump's plan".

He slightly did it by saying Rhonda Rousey "liked" him.

Heidi Klum's response to Trump saying she's no longer a 10:

Quote:But really, the whole entire situation about women is not really funny — you know, to put a number on a woman.”

She had no problem with the label pre-wall.

Quote:She added: “We juggle so many things and I feel that, you know, women who support their families, who have children, who make their lunches, drive them all over the place, work at the same time — I mean, we do so many things, so in my book, every woman is a 10.

Sorry sweetheart, but making lunches for your kids doesn't make you a 10. It just means you're unwilling to let your kids starve.

I hate it how the term "populist" is being used in a derogative sense by mainstream media and the elites. Not all populism is something bad by itself.

There's a massive difference between a "Populist" who promises tons of handouts and free shit for everyone, ala Francois Hollande, and a "Populist" who promises to enforce the country's laws and make it more independent, ala Viktor Orban (or Donald Trump).

In fact, given the mass delusion of US people about immigration, feminism, socialism and assorted stuff, you would be hard pressed to say Trump is a populist. He is telling people the things they don't want to hear.

"Populism" isn't bad if the populace is informed, educated, and thinks before it votes.

But seeing as that more or less went out of fashion when suffrage hit...

A necessary evil. Though I think we can rest assured that, if elected, his primary focus is going to be on immigration and trade--not giving more handouts to women.

Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag. We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language. And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.

Yes and no.

Our Navy is pretty big, however the overall manpower of all the services combined isn't terribly big for our population. And it's getting smaller.

As far as other equipment? Just check out all the Hummers and MRAPS your local law enforcement is loading up on for free, courtesy the military contraction.
