I like it that they seem to get along and Trump apparently is open to hear what Paul has to say. He can be a nice counterweight to the Ryan-Priebus connection, it fits Trump's management style to give everyone a chance to state his opinion about what should be done, weigh his options and then make an executive decision.

Also, Trump often goes golfing, as did Obama.
But how many times did Obama take foreign leaders of state or other dignitaries to the golf course, senators or other power brokers?
Trump is a businessman, he takes people golfing to make deals and build relationships. He's always done that, that's how he works and what he's good at.
Trump goes to the golf course to work. Obama went golfing to get away from work.

Also, it is probably much more difficult for the deep state to listen in on him when he's out at the course. Just another reason to hit a few balls.

Cernovich said in his report Sunday that this was known to New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman, who “has chosen to sit on it in an effort to protect the reputation of former President Barack Obama.” Neither Haberman nor the New York Times immediately returned requests for comment.

Bloomberg confirmed Cernovich’s report Monday, but did not include any details about Haberman sitting on the story. White House counselor Kellyanne Conway also tweeted out a transcript Monday of Cernovich’s recent interview on 60 minutes, in which he battled Scott Pelley.

Pelley confronted Cernovich about a story that said Hillary Clinton had Parkinson’s disease. Cernovich stood by the report and Pelley said, “It isn’t true.” Cernovich asked, “How do you know?,” and Pelley replied, “Well, the campaign told us that.”

Chris Megerian, a Los Angeles TImes reporter, responded with incredulity that Cernovich broke the Rice news, and tweeted, “The new media ecosystem — a Pizzagate conspiracy theorist appears to have high-level Trump administration sources.”

Cernovich has not responded to a request for comment.

If you Google Susan Rice, or the term unmasking, you'll note that the MSM has still not commented. Those who have said nothing thus far are what we know as the MSM, and these people have said nothing:

MSNBC
CNN
NBC
ABC
WaPo
NY Times

Many of the "second tier" outlets are reporting the story (i.e. Breitbart, Daily Caller, NY Daily News, etc.)

What the MSM fails to realize is that it wasn't "fake news" and Trump that destroyed their credibility just in recent months. Their decline has been years in the making, and it started with failing to even report the news.

Will any of the MSM outlets other than Fox even bother to report this story before tonight?

We should keep in mind that today Trump is meeting with Egypt's great leader el-Sisi. El-Sisi was the first world leader to call Trump to congratulate him on his election as president. El-Sisi is under continuous attack by America's communist media for alleged "human rights" violations while he struggles to control the extremist elements in his country. When good Muslims leaders try to contain radicial Islam, they are immediately attacked by communist forces within America and Europe. I like his plan too, specifically the uncapped HSA's, but I don't think it can work in the current climate. His solution could have worked pre-Obamacare. However, now, polls seem to indicate that more and more people are seeing healthcare as an entitlement. I'm not sure if we can move towards a free-market system.

The idea that something isn't a "big deal" because legalistically speaking, the deed followed a prescribed chain of command even though it was clearly an outrageous, politicized abuse of power. Under that logic, if Trump decided to launch a nuclear strike against Scotland in a fit of pique over their golf regulations that also wouldn't be a big deal because legalistically speaking, launching nukes is within the purview of the Commander in Chief. In other words, nonsense.

Or how about the idea that Trump donating his own money to a cause means nothing because he simultaneously wants to save taxpayer money across all federal departments. That's absolute nonsense.

I disagreed. The Susan Rice story is literally something because it tells us:
* who the "leaker" is that has been giving classified information to the Liberal MSM reporter(s) - this is supposed to be *illegal* - without the White House's knowledge;
* what MSM outlets knew about this - hint: NYT (Maggie Haberman) and Washington Post;
* where did the reporter(s) and/or whoever else obtained the classified information from;
* how did the MSM outlets received the "leaked" classified information before the President, Congress, etc.;
* let's not forget that some of these MSM reporters are fucking Clinton/Obama operatives - remember the WikiLeaks' DNC emails?

Trump Donates His Salary To National Park Service

Trump previously pledged during his first post-election TV interview to refuse the $400,000 salary he would earn as president. Spicer announced that Trump would donate his salary to a federal agency every quarter.

Trump made that same pledge during a campaign rally in September 2016.

Only John F. Kennedy and Herbert Hoover have declined to take the salary of the presidency, as they were both extremely wealthy.

The Parks Service really needs the money.

U.S. national parks and forests owe $17.2 billion in deferred maintenance and other backlogged expenses. Currently, NPS owes almost $12 billion in deferred maintenance and other backlogged expenses, meaning the agency would need to spend five times the amount it gets every year from Congress to fix its maintenance backlog, which is expected to grow each year. The U.S. Forest Service has a similar backlog of roughly $5.2 billion.

Much of the enormous backlog facing the two agencies is caused by expanding operations at the expense of basic maintenance. The NPS added 18 new units to the national parks system since 2009, costing the agency an enormous amount of money. As the mission of NPS expanded, the agency became increasingly unable to fund necessary maintenance projects.

The correlation between new park units and deferred maintenance is quite direct. The U.S. government has spent more than $10 billion acquiring new public lands, according to the Congressional Research Service.

That's conjecture. How can you prove that it was politicized and not for natural security purposes? How is it a scandal for the National Security Advisor to request info on a matter of counterintelligence significance? It's not.

If he wants to save taxpayer money, why isn't he touching entitlements? Why is he wasting money on a wall? Why is he planning a $1 trillion dollar infrastructure spending plan? Donating $80,000 is awesome. But it's a PR stunt.
