Evancho's "Dream With Me" album and her "O Holy Night" EP are both at No. 2 on the Billboard charts — which is the highest spot they've ever held.

She's also the youngest solo artist to ever go platinum.

The "America's Got Talent" breakout star will be singing the "The Star Spangled Banner" at next month's presidential ceremony.

I think it's the opposite way around.
The "power" of these politicians and celebrities is all an illusion and inside most of them are truly weak. They have no real strength and are constantly afraid of making eye contact with commoners who are stronger in spirit than them. For a commoner to stare a "powerful" person in the eye and make them look away or down reveals them for the weak cowards & frauds they truly are.

I've been in the halls where some of these stars find their breaks. Let me tell you this, they are broken, repulsive people. 99% of them are freaks.

As hard as Hollywood wants to try, the freaks never stick. You have to push the edge further and further for eyeballs. It never works. Zero charisma.

People turn to entertainment to be distracted from their day to day. To be uplifted. Inspired. Fun little fantasy. This is human nature.

A smart man could open his own film studio right now and use all non SAG cast and crew, develop a humane script, and rake in the cash. Like hundreds of millions if you can manage the theater distribution.

The shift is palpable. Not everywhere but in many places, the dam is breaking. If you act like an aspirational human, your magnetism will know no bounds. I understand the purist argument, and on some level I agree with it. Still, many famous composers and musicians have borrowed and modified music throughout the ages. If they started to add electric guitar with her vocals..., yea, I'd say that would totally destroy it. While her rendition is a modification, I still find it reverent and peaceful, unlike some ridiculous renditions I've heard of our national anthem getting butchered.
