So now, as if on cue, my Facebook feed is exploding with news that Mike Huckabee made (gasp!!) a transgender joke back in February. All the SJWs are saying it shows how hateful and insensitive he is.

If this was 2010, the same joke wouldn't have offended. I'm not getting how people don't see this sweeping change in morality.

It's bothering me that day by day the media adds more sacred cows to the list of thing we're not supposed to joke about.

How long until oldies records about transvestites (or ones that goof on gender confusion) are banned from classic rock radio? I'm thinking of the Kinks' "Lola," Aerosmith's "Dude Looks Like a Lady," and the Beatles' "Get Back," but there are others.

This whole thing reminds me of how certain jokes were off-limits in Catholic school because some topics were too "sacred" to kid around about. I didn't buy that and I don't buy this.

Really, this is becoming a new religion and new sins are being added to the media's self-created bible every day. Sinning against the trans community is the latest.

The question about if a line will ever be drawn is an unequivocal NO. Now there are "Transabled" people coming out claiming they feel trapped in their fully abled bodies and would rather be disabled by choice.

I would hope that this press wouldn't make someone suffering with such issues to decide to just "be who you are meant to be" rather than to seek the help of a trained medical doctor. But that is not the vibe I am getting from the media coverage.

I think the societies that have recognized "third genders" for transgenders, rather than trying to rewrite history and pretend there is not a disconnect between the person's brain and body, probably are on to something.

Would it be easier to try to realign neural pathways and shape the brain to match the body instead of slicing and dicing the body to match the brain? I doubt any research will be done on that front, as it would be considered transphobic.

How often does the body get the brain / body genders incorrect? If someone's DNA produces a male body, how often would that same DNA produce a female brain IN that body? Along the same rates as true hermaphrodites? More? Less? Seems like it would be fairly rare, but who knows.

It is well known that brains can change over time based on what information we repeatedly feed them. Neural pathways can get wired into them that are very difficult to break, though not impossible. Does obsessing about being a woman alter one's brain chemistry to the point where that person's brain looks different than a typical "normal" heterosexual non-trans brain?

Without studying the brains of everyone who claims to be transgendered, what is to stop people who aren't truly transgendered (with mismatching brain/bodies) from simply making attention whoring claims of being transgendered?

There is still no known "gay gene", but being homosexual is so socially acceptable now, anyone with the slightest inclination has no qualms about giving it a try.

What about hormones and antibiotics, etc. that were unknown in our food supply 100+ years ago? There are studies starting to be done into our microbiome that show if you are born vaginally or via cesarean section, it makes a difference to your bodies development and could make a person more susceptible to certain illnesses later in life (Crohn's disease, and other gut problems). There are so many possible variables to what might be the root cause of this stuff, but I don't think anyone is trying to find it.

I'm all over the map in this post, but this is such a slippery slope and society is sliding down it full steam ahead. And with the political correctness police and SJW's out in full force on these issues, I don't think the proper studies will ever be done to figure out what is causing these types of problems. In fact, I probably am not allowed to call them problems. Why study what is making people gay and transgendered in increasing rates? Since there is absolutely nothing wrong with being gay or transgendered, we don't need to figure out what is happening or why, because it is beautiful and everyone is great and wonderful and isn't this diversity terrific? Let's throw a big parade.

I think the first episode will do gangbuster ratings and then will tank about 3 episodes in, at which point they'll trot out the KKK (Kim, Kourtney and Khloe) for a temporary ratings boost. Afterward, the show will limp along for a season or two in order for the network to save face and for Bruce/Caitlyn to feel like he/she/whatever got some mileage out of the surgery.

That's a thought I've had as well. As Day of Broken Arrows was writing about, Huckabee is currently getting lambasted due to making a comment long before the Jenner photoshoot happened about how he wish he could have claimed to be a woman back when he was a teenager so he could go into the girl's locker rooms. Since a lot of SJWs say you don't even have to get the surgery or go through the hormone treatment in order to be a trans-woman since it's purely a mental thing, if some person wanted to claim to be a woman in order to access woman only spaces how exactly would they be able to exclude him/her without being labeled "transphobic"? If some guy wanted to fight Ronda Rousey for the women's UFC 135 lb title what would be stopping him claiming to be a trans-woman?

The first couple seconds is the eponymous, newfangled Cait Jenner philosophizing on how women are under such pressure to look their best and are reliant on cosmetics. She does this without any sense of irony or sarcasm as she is physically sitting in front of the mirror doing her eyelashes/makeup. As Bruce, he presided over the Kardashian family as patriarch, a family that is built on that same artifice.

Now why have I started using the female pronoun?

I'm going to go ahead and go with the marxist agenda on this one. I'm going to just call her a woman now. It feels like it's a defeat in the battle of language... but being a man is more than having the Y chromosome. It's about having rationality and reason, the capability of self-introspection and self-awareness. Bruce turned his back on those traits, and any other trait that could identify him as male.

So congrats, Cait, I hope she enjoys her new life. When the mockery gets to her and the dawning realization comes to her that she is now international freakshow attraction number one - by her own doing - she's gonna swallow a bullet. But enjoy me calling you a woman until then.

But at the end, she straight up looks at the camera and says "I'm the new normal." ... That's pretty sinister. Who could have approved of that line? Or written it in the first place? It feels like the writers/producers of this show are making a veiled threat.

Or a promise: More homosexual/transgender/feminism/marxism. More television shows, more transgender staff members on news networks and publications, more trannies on your college student governments and newsletters, in your deans' offices, etc. You won't be able to google the temperature or check your email without this shit being shoved in your face.
