If they were technically she would have to file paperwork for gifts over the IRS gift threshold (15k now maybe annually?) so if she didn't do that I think the dude has to pay taxes and the irs will want its share.

That's not the first family to make some bank of reality tv, we've seen the rise and fall of many others before, the only difference is that kendall and kylie being relatively young still have a few years in them to prolong the family's 15 minutes of fame.

They owe their extraordinary hold on the public's attention to one person, and that's Kris Jenner. She is single-handedly responsible for creating, maintaining and expanding the brand. She is a shrewd and careful financial manager, an imaginative entrepreneur, a peerless impresario, and incomparably gifted in distributing and directing attention to multiple characters over time. She has an uncanny sense of when to put the star of the show (Kim) center stage, and when the secondary characters have to come to the foreground to maintain interest. Is $2 million really a substantial enough sum for the Kardashians to notice? That's probably a week's income gone, no? I imagine Kris Jenner is probably grateful that her daughter learned a lesson relatively cheaply, as opposed to just giving Tyga $200 million or something like that.
