there probably would have been a better solution if those guys really wanted to help, tell her to put the car in neutral and use one of the other cars to push her car to the side of the road. but she is likely too drunk to accomplish this anyways.

I've seen a person get run over on the freeway and it is one of the most sickening, gruesome things one can ever witness. The dude I saw was big too. Maybe 250-260 and a Hyundai Santa Fe going 70 knocked him I don't know how high in the air and you could tell, while he was in the air, that it had broken every bone in his body.

upon contemplation, I also don't think this is White Knighting. Even if the girl doesn't matter some random driver could have been killed by plowing into the back of her car, so intervention is useful

Also, whatever happened to road flares? Back in the 80s it seemed like everyone had them...not so much anymore. You'd light up a few of those and throw them on the road and people could see them and slow down from way out.

I would only have had the balls to hit the hazard lights on her car and then get the fuck out of there and over a median. No way do I want to become part of a freeway pinball game.

I'm 100% sure this is white knighting on a deadly level. And there is a very simple test to determine that:
If it was a drunk guy refusing to get out of his car, would the other guys make themselves human shield in the middle of highway and nearly got hit by cars in order to protect him, or would they force him the fuck out of his car and throw him on the side of the road until the police got there?


The guy is literally risking his life in order to protect a drunk bitch who thinks she has the right to park in the middle of the highway because she is in a shitty mood.

Must have been a slow news day. This happens almost nightly on California freeways and really isn't that big of a deal. If there's a crash or if someone is prancing around in traffic lanes in the early morning hours like this, you bet your sweet bippy the driver is a drunk.

Had she been killed, I would have no sympathy for her. I have no sympathy for drunk drivers be they man or woman. And unfortunately usually it's the drunk driver who survives a DUI crash. But, I wouldn't consider the behavior of the guys in the video to be quote on quote white knights. Come on. I would like to think most of us here are of the type to show our humanity from time to time and possibly save a life if you can. Good Samaritans help out at car crashes before fire and police arrive ALL THE TIME. Most good Samaritans from my experience have usually been men. Women tend to just stop and look, and then keep driving. Unless they happen to be nurses. That being said, your life and safety is your first priority. Freeway crashes are very fast paced, and incredibly dangerous. In a situation like this your best option is to be the best witness you can be for law enforcement when they arrive. The dude trying to warn oncoming traffic was a well intentioned but complete idiot. Never do that. You're putting yourself at risk, and are likely to cause more crashes and injuries. The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

When she was relatively safe on the shoulder, I would have been inclined to forcibly sit her ass down to keep her there and not let her go back to her car. If she's drunk texting her BFF's that she's stranded in the number 3 lane, fuck that, whatever happens happens. Wait for CHP. God can judge her

I want to see her in jail for a long time. This is California, unless she has a priors she's probably already out. She'll have her license suspended for awhile, do some community service and that's it. A victim of a DUI crash has done nothing wrong except happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time because some other idiot got behind a missile after a couple of drinks.

There are several interesting points to take away from this video. First, between society demasculinizing men and the beta attitude of the bystanders to afraid to touch "a pretty girl", none of those guys simply thought to grab her and hold her down on the side of the road until the police arrived. Instead they let her wander around and get back into her car.

There is a healthy debate to be had whether a MAN should even bother to stop. Feminists want to be independent and this could easily turn into a false rape allegation. But for those guys who did stop and "tried" to help out- If you are going to stop then don't be too beta to grab her when she is on the side of the road and put that bitch to the ground for her own good.
