MYEFO was always supposed to come out today. So not only do we have a terrorist attack on, but it's dominating the news instead of the budget deficit blowing out by $10 billion. The Coalition has been polling at 45% lately, so talk about an early Christmas gift for the Right. The Treasurer Joe Hockey's father is from Palestine, hmmm perhaps this is all a well-timed false flag conspiracy to boost the Coalition's poll numbers

My guess is that the police are worried about the guy being strapped with explosives (he is wearing a backpack). Otherwise knowing it's one guy they likely would have taken a shot already.

If he is in fact strapped it's a much dicier situation. If not, chances are good it will be solved one way or another. We'll see.
