Just found this thread and skimmed through. Wanted to list some stuff here, most have been mentioned. Red flags for long term relationships:

-Tattoos
-Body Piercings
-Bangs quickly
-Doesn't ask you to use a condom(impulsive)
-Bad/No relationship with father
-Goes on vacation alone
-Mother who has been married several times or constantly cycles through men
-High T traits(big chin, female athlete, masculine job)
-Lots of guy friends
-Went to a university known for being liberal
-Multiple social media accounts
-Uses Tinder
-She's an 'artist'
-Has used drugs
-Family abuse
-Always on her cell phone texting/social butterfly
-Wants overly rough sex
-On antidepressants

Here's my biggest one that's a "red flag", because I think it only counts as a red flat if it's not immediately obvious enough that you start to chat em up.

Selfies. Always look at the selfies. Is her social media full of selfies with tons of likes from male friends? Is she posing seductively in all of them? Does she spend all of her time taking unnecessary selfies while she's with you? Does she have social media accounts like instagram/Twitter which only really exist for selfie whoring?

It's remarkable how closely selfies are correlated with narcissism.

Obviously, selfies taken for personal memories and not shared (like couple selfies) don't count towards this.

This is an incredible, prescient list! I had a relationship turn bad (without going into excessive details, we were making plans for our 'future' when she cheated on me) and she had SEVERAL of these:

Bangs quickly- sex on the first date, in her car (where she requested anal)
Doesn't ask you to use a condom- that first time (and every time thereafter- never used a condom)
Goes on vacation alone- traveled extensively for work (it was on one of these trips where she cheated)
Mother who has been married several times or constantly cycles through men- her mother was a classic white trash whore, with more men and more outrageous stories than I could keep rack of
High T traits- being treated for acne
Lots of guy friends- best friend was a fellow co-worker (who I'm pretty sure she never banged, but used to confide in regularly)
Went to a university known for being liberal- a 'you go, grrr!' feminist with a liberal education and a subsequent affirmative action job (STEM field)
Wants overly rough sex- was into being tied up

Damn- where was RoK two years ago? I could have used this list back then, and just enjoyed the sex instead of trying to LTR her.

Might want to add here-
Intellectual- so she can rationalize away every behavior
Tight knit group of feminist friends- who help with that rationalization
Proudly infiltrating male dominated field- so she can prove how competent she is (even though she was a progressive, affirmative action hire, so her department could look good)
Experimented with lesbianism- a high sex drive girl who once again rationalized away her behavior (and was kind of proud of it)

Generally, this is a template that can be applied to all women who are like this.

childhood abuse/rape -> emotionally abused by her family -> excessive control by her family -> emotionally unstable -> suicide attempt -> emotionally unstable-> Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder -> Anxiety Disorder + Panic Attack -> Guilty feeling -> low self esteem(negative thinking and difficulty making decisions) -> mood swing -> need for approval -> loves attention -> break up relationship -> regrets and wants to get back(seeking for psychotherapy support) -> Time to abandon ship


My advice to guys chasing girls who were abused/emotionally unstable

Don't do it. It never works out.

You may think by trying to help her change and become more confident in herself, that she'll forever feel ingratiated in your debt and love you forever. Trying to help her may help you feel more manly, as all guys are programmed to enjoy being protectors. What actually will happen is that unsatiable need for validation and approval will always be stronger than any gratitude she may feel toward you. Eventually, as she keeps talking to dozens of guys behind your back who she claims are just friends, she'll end up liking one of them. She'll keep you around for a while, monkey branching, until she feels secure enough in replacing you with the new guy. And all that time and effort you wasted leaves you hurt and ph*ed over by a girl you deep down inside knew was never fixable to begin with.

Any girl that is Vegetarian or Vegan.

These girls are usually on the thin side so you think it’s a great thing, but honestly, ALL of them without exception, have one or more mental health issues.


Typical symptoms:

-No joy or pleasure in what they eat....meals are like a chore.
-Personal insecurity about oneself
-General Anxiety
-Frequent depression and unhappiness
-Fundamentalist extremist and intolerant attitudes to those who have normal diets
-They impose their radical diets on their pets too…..and then wonder why their pets get really ill.
-As these types of women are normally childless, their motherhood instinct is projected onto animal creatures in a radical way. Either they have an abnormal amount of pets or they put all their energy into campaigns to “save” or “protect” animals. They may also have a love for disgusting filthy creatures like rats or pigs.


I think it’s been scientifically proven now that non meat diets have a direct correlation with mental health problems.

1) Bad relationships with parents - Not always a red flag by itself if they're philosophical about it, but negativity around family is red flag for sure.

2) If a girl says 'i dont have many female friends, i get on with guys way better'. That just means she uses her sex appeal to get leverage and is used to getting away with way more shit from men, who let bad behaviour pass because they want to fuck her, than a female friend would ever put up with. Basically it's a sign she's likely untrustworthy. Girls have called her out on shit before and she cant handle it.

3) Unhealthy lifestyle - for obvious reasons.

4) Tatoos or piercings. Just find them exceptionally unattractive on women.

5) Excessive and bitchy gossiping. All women do this to an extent, if there's a nastiness to it, then def screen out.

Man the list goes on and on and my ex ticks 70% of these - unfortunately, so do 90% of women I've met since. Which is the reason why nowadays I'm quick to retreat

wow amazing list. The last chick I just ended things with hit 15 of those points. I finally noped the fuck out of there even though she was trying to convince me that she's super loyal etc etc but her actions, even ever so slight revealed her truth self.

Stereotypes really do exist for a reason.
