Former model and actress Chloe Goins claims Bill Cosby drugged and raped her at a playboy mansion party. But newly released documents show that Bill Cosby was in New York on the night in question. Chloe Goins was not on the party guest list, and none of the surveillance camera footage shows her at the party. Also none of the eye witnesses Chloe provided claimed to know her. mpr, that was never an actual case, just attention whoring. The Pennsylvania case is likely done because of the cnn leaked email that qc posted about, essentially the testimony Cosby gave in the civil suit can't be used against him in a felony trial, according to the email from the district attorney's office. There was never any physical evidence anyways, just verbal testimony from 15 years ago, and the case was built on that, and now that it is out, hopefully Cosby is in the clear.

I really think that these women don't stand a chance based solely on the fact that Gloria Allred is representing them.

Gloria Allred doesn't even care about winning cases any more, all she cares about is being in the public eye and getting paid. Sure she won some high profile cases in the past (Roe vs Wade) but the reality is that the only court she is effective in now is the court of public opinion.

I'm no lawyer, but looking at her most recent cases it strikes me that she's probably not a very good lawyer anyway. She dropped Debrahlee Lorenzana's case (big-boobed banker) like a hot potato because she didn't want to fight it out in court:

Gloria Allred is all about playing the short game, making a fuss and pushing for a quick settlement without going to trial. And it's been reasonably successful for her recently. Her clients not so much.

Now Gloria knows that Bill has already lost in the court of public opinion. He will likely never work again even if all the charges fail. But Bill Cosby is still a man of financial means. I think he's wise to play the long game the way he is - pleading innocence and letting proceedings run.

He's got one foot in the grave, and if he settles again then his reputation will be mud even after he dies. If the charges don't stick then of course there will always be a cloud over his reputation, but like Michael Jackson it's possible that public opinion will change when he passes and his legacy will be salvaged somewhat.

Also +1 to everything Eddie Griffin said. Dude gets my respect for having the wisdom to see what's happening and the balls to say it in public.

But Constand had been back to see him numerous times after that incident..

My final stratagem is the relatively unheralded concept of trying to only have sex with people I care about who also care about me. You’ll leave some sex on the table, as it were, if you do that, but overall it’s worked out well for me.
