Are you tellıng us that you are the kınd of dude that buys meals and drınks for gırls that you have not banged because you want to bang them?
If so, why do you do that?
You can ask and answer your own questıon yourself. Is ıt because you and the gırl consıder ıt part of the deal?
If that ıs what you are doıng and you are attractıng the kınd of gırl that regards that as payment for her company then, yeah, you are payıng for sex and ıt does not count.
No, I don't imply anything. If I am that type of dude, I will tell you so, I don't give a shyt but I am not in fact, I've been cheap on broads from inception.
I am just trying to get some other peeps in here to admit that they pay indirectly for pussy. It doesn't matter if you and the girl consider it part of the deal or whether you 'feel' like doing it. I was just wondering what an acceptable notch and what isn't.

I live in the US and have for the majority of my life, but I'm actually Jamaican-British. I think that makes the difference, because many Caribbean men don't have the same hangups about it either. Most European men(save for maybe a few Scandinavians) obviously have no issues, and neither do Asians and most Latin Americans.
Americans (not many of the guys on this forum, but the average joes out there) have a strange habit of insisting on never paying directly...and then consistently overpaying indirectly (excessive pedestalization, buying big $200 dinners every week, huge gifts, "sponsorship", "it ain't tricking if you got it", etc). It is a fascinating phenomenon.
Know your enemy and know yourself, find naught in fear for 100 battles. Know yourself but not your enemy, find level of loss and victory. Know thy enemy but not yourself, wallow in defeat every time.

There's something to said for earning notches. That's why hookers don't count... Where is the effort? Not to knock anyone who does, it's just not my thing.

I agree that there can be something to be said for "earning" notches non-transactionally, which is why I suggested the "asterisk" next to notches with hookers.
At the same time, however, I find there to be a disturbing lack of distinction between the cost of most of these "earned" notches and the price of a call girl. Unless you have very good game (and often times even then), the indirect cost of these "earned" notches can often exceed that of a common escort's rate. Sex is expensive, especially in the US.
In spite of this(and this is the perplexing part), these men who carry this cost often adopt a stance of self-righteousness when faced with men who go the direct route. Because they paid indirectly, they behave almost as though they incurred no cost, when in fact they invest more for their notches (and even more for continued access to said women in relationships). As I said before, it is common for men to insist on never paying directly and adopting almost a sort of cult/pride/badge of honor from that basis while still paying these exorbitant indirect prices in time, money, resources, etc.
One strategy does not seem to necessarily be head and shoulders above the other in terms of practicality, yet only one seems to gain approval. I'm not saying the direct route is for everyone and that it should not be promoted with some caution (like I said, put asterisks next to those notches with hookers/escorts) but I don't see why they shouldn't be counted as notches all the same. I haven't yet heard a really good reason for this.

RE: what counts as a notch?
To add to this ^^^^^, the top ballers (millionaires, busy business men) don't really have the time to be calling women and running psychological game on women to get some ass.
It's less stressful for them and time efficient to call up a slut and drop some paper on her when they need to break off a little something.
Honestly, sometimes when I am on a date, I think that I could spend that time working on my business and personal development.
The only reason I tolerate dates with these simpleton lizards is for sex.
If it cost me a 1 cent to fcuk a lizard, by jove, I would pay that cent because it's worth it to me to save the hassle.
Now, if I am looking for a wife or an LTR, then by all means, yes I would go out and personally test and prospect and GAME.
I was reading a book based on a true story, which had a guy who was known as a 'fixer' for political persons and he had no problems with calling up escort girls when he needed to fcuk. He felt it was less hassle.
This character was an extremely busy guy. He had no time to be in clubs chatting shyt and sorting out those who want to fcuk from those who are attention whores. Time literally was money.
