Don't tell me anything. I'll probably have it done by the end of the weekend. The story is so great, I can't wait to find out what happens.

Undertale is awesome. I was going to mention it but I assumed it was too obscure for this board.

Don't worry, I'm not letting anything out until both you and Haig have completed the campaign - I'm not one to give spoilers away

Began to play The Witcher 3 a few days ago...fell in love with the game and setting!

NOTHING IS TOO OBSCURE!

And I'm not too big of a fps guy so I have nothing else.

RE: Video games
A sparring injury has left me unable to train for the next few weeks. As a result I've been holed up in my rec room playing MGSV. I've logged about 60 hours thus far. I come out to work, eat, sleep, fuck, and shoot squirrels, but that's it. I can't stop playing it.

Not on here much anymore. I'm either out on 2 wheels or trying to kill something.

I'd told myself I wouldn't buy any more games until Fallout 4, but the Dying Light sale on the PS store had been taunting me for days. Zombies, meaty melee combat and open world parkour.
Looks and feels like a more refined Dead Island and while that game caught a lot of reviewer flak, I loved it.

I was turned off when I read the weapons break down like in Dead Island.

There's a hotkey for immediate repairs without having to go into the inventory screen, as long as you have the repair parts in your inventory. And you can quickly switch between four different weapons, and carry more.
It's definitely a scavenging game as well - you'll have to dig through closets, fridges, boxes and trash cans to find materials for crafting medkits, grenades, weapon mods, doing repairs etc.

I only had time to play the first 30 minutes last night, but I tried the demo first where you have a higher level character.

I liked Dying Light a fair amount. Usually I'm not a fan of the zombie franchise, but the open-world parkour made it feel like a zombified Assassins Creed. in Hindsight, it's now like a zombified Far Cry meets Assassins Creed hybrid. I really liked it, but I probably should have waited a month or two after it was released to get it.

It's my favorite zombie game of all time up to date. I played the shit out of it and managed to get the bow and all the arrow types from the Bozak Horde, explosive arrows are where it's it at. Looking forward to the new DLC which has dune buggies you can upgrade like weapons. .

Anyone else a member of Neogaf? Got banned again from that leftist den of pedophiles.

I guess I should know better than to post there, but man that off topic community is fuckin' nuts. I can't help but troll them. But they are a clever bunch, once they smell an opposing view, they do everything they can to draw it out. I made it the longest I've ever I had dropping subtle red pills, but the Mods finally kicked me.

goddamn has that board ever took a dive of a cliff. It started around 2010-2011 and now is completely pro pedophile/trannie/furry/every extreme leftist view etc..

RE: Video games
20 minutes of leaked Fallout 4 gameplay (beginning and later game) in four videos. Might be taken down soon.

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2015-1...ore-launch

I agree with some of the article comments - it's very obvious that it's running on yet another evolution of the same creaky old graphics technology (but not ugly enough to have a negative impact on my gameplay experience I'm sure) and the second sets of videos look very much like an old fashioned shooter, which is hard to make a judgment call on until you've actually felt how it handles (that the player is taking out supermutants with such ease is a little surprising though).

RE: Video games
They got Halo 5 here in the store for like $49 bucks.... but then COD comes out in a few days and then Fallout 4 a few days following that. Not sure if I end up buying a shooter this holiday season. Fallout 4 is going to take a lot of my gaming time. I don't even know how to hook my headset up to my fucking Xbone... shooters aint shit if you cant chat, plus my internet is pretty shitty (3mbps or less) I may wait to see some reviews and decide on a shooter or I may just go with out.

That new Need for Speed is pretty good once you get into it.. I hate the fact its online only and I can't pause my game. Other then that its pretty good though.

RE: Video games
After some more gameplay on NFS, I really like the concept of having this racer online. Its fun just trolling people with my tricked out s2000... they are in their lambos and I roll up on them and they think its going to be a easy race but my engine is one fleek (i think I used that right) Its also cool when you are in your race just seeing random people in tricked out cars drifting around the city and shit.

However I think there should be a option to play offline. Right now you either play online or you dont play... I dont like that at all...

RE: Video games
I wasn't going to buy Black Ops 3. But then I did. I want a new competitive online shooter, and it looks like the best of the new and upcoming (multiplatform) options. The Star Wars Battlefront beta was thoroughly underwhelming.

BO3 just unlocked here 40 minutes ago. Played a few bot matches - haven't played a CoD game in years, time to dive into MP now. And probably get my ass kicked as usual.

Edit: ... Damn that was punishing. I went 4/16 K/D in the first match. The best player on the other - winning - team went 48/13.
Some people are already rank 30+.

Stopped playing video games . 2months ago sold my ps3 and everthing decided invest more into experiences and skillful hobbies. Sharpen my inherited talents. As a kid I played video games. I was still in the tutorial stage of life. No more hints and assistance along the way have a lot more at stake. Time is the most valuable asset cannot be recuperated.

Good choice if you're short on time. Personally I'm very rarely in that situation over the span of a typical week.
And even for those with a lot less free time than I, I'm still of the opinion that everyone can benefit from a little time now and then to just sit down and relax completely. Video games can be an alternative to an hour in front of the TV a few times a week.

(I've got no rebuttals for those who must be "on" - work, networking, studying, sports, dating, taking cooking classes and salsa lessons - every single hour that they are not asleep. They are just a different species than me - stress might kill them off before old age does, but they sure live very efficient lives while they are here.)
