DAY 78 - 08/11/2014

POZNAN: Day 1 DayGame Report

Got into Poznan at roughly 6:30am today - I spent the first part of the day, roughly till noon, settling into my apartment, acquiring a local prepaid SIM card for my unlocked iPhone, and confirming that it's up and running.

Did roughly a four-hour sesh of daygaming - managed to grab one number early on. In no particular order, here were my thoughts on what I've seen so far:

1) What I've seen here so far broadly confirms that which I've read about for Polish girls on the forum - thin, but with a butterface issue. A good number of the girls here do have the sharp facial features that look like a "witch face", but they're pretty serviceable otherwise. Thin and leggy - which is exactly my type.

2) The Stary Browar mall complex, as well as the road connecting it to Stary Rynek, is indeed an awesome place for daygaming. But I'm pretty sure most of the people here knew that already. There was a unmistakeable, significant increase in the quality of the talent once you stepped inside off the street.

3) Not even six hours into my time in-country, and I've already seen other daygamers running approaches. They were two Polish guys - I couldn't tell what they were saying on account of my non-existent Polish language skills, but from what I could observe and their physical actions (fairly touchy) they were running pretty direct game. I sat back, amused, and watched each of them make one approach. One blowout, one number. Props to the guy who got the #.

4) The number that I managed to get was of a 17-year old who has family living in Canada, so naturally the approach hooked without much in the way of difficultly. She asked how old I was when I suggested we get drinks together (I said 20), and up until this point I hadn't at all gone direct, so I think I'm relatively well set to escalate on a potential D2 without expecting confusion. I had a separate approach where I managed to ramble and maintain a conversation for a good 10 min before going for the number, and she mentioned she had a boyfriend. So, I do think that the girls here associate meeting a guy for drinks with going on a date. Not like in Hamburg, where you need to go direct merely to get the point across. Can others confirm/refute in this regard?

Gonna rest up, grab some groceries, and get prepped for Day 1 NightGame. Stay tuned....

POZNAN: Day 1 NightGame Report

Went to Club 22/Van Diesel Music Club (the 20zl entrance fee gives you access to both clubs.) I arrived early (something like 10:30ish) and stayed till about 3am. Managed to knock off something like 12-15 approaches; of those, I managed to get 3-5 that hooked, but only one number. No makeouts or pulls so far Overall, the vibe I got from the girls there wasn't that friendly - a lot of times I got a curt "no" when I opener with you-look-like-you-speak-good-English.

Some random points from last night:

- I think Van Diesel had a ladies' night last night, since the ratio was definitely at least even early on, possibly even 60:40 guys:girls. The girl whom I got the number from mentioned that she managed to get in free.

- No bouncers at the door when I got in. Welcome change from Hamburg

- One of the approaches that hooked was a four-set of chicks that I ran into multiple times during the night. At first, I opened one of them at the main bar of VDMC - she didn't speak English, but her thin, taller (but kinda butterface) friend did at an OK level. We chatted for a bit before they walked off. At this point, I thought they were only a two-set.

Second time was roughly 10 minutes later, when they came back, but with a group of three more girls. All of them were pretty drunk at this point, and they basically mobbed me for a good 5 minutes or so, each trying to talk to me and introducing themselves and whatnot. It seems like we were all vibing really well - until one of them walked off and the rest hurriedly followed. Almost like a tide - in one second, out the next.

Third time was about a half-hour later, as I was standing next to one of the entrances to the dance floor (still at VDMC.) Saw the group walking past me and pretended to ignore them, thinking they wouldn't reopen - till one of them basically shoved the second girl I talked to right into me. We kinda laugh at each other and remark how crazy her friends are, and I take the opportunity to go hit the dance floor with her. Danced with her for a while - maybe 5-7 minutes - but I was getting the sense that she wasn't interested, so I switched over to one of her friends who had been giving me more interest earlier. It was going well at first, but I think that I made a mistake in that I told her I was rolling solo when she asked if I was with anyone - thinking that, like Bang Poland mentioned, girls don't view going out solo negatively. I'm guessing she did, though - a few minutes after, she started to try and get her friend's attention as if to signal for an eject. She finally walks off the dancefloor and the whole group follows in tow, not motioning for me to join them or whatever - I let them go without chasing after them.

- The girl whom I managed to get the number from was a petite redhead - definitely my type. I opened her standing next to the dancefloor, then moved her over to stand near the bar to get away from the speakers (to test for compliance, which she went for.) Kept chatting with her and suggested hitting the dancefloor (to keep escalating) but she shuts that down, since she's trying to find her sister, who has her phone and ticket for her coat. The conversation starts to wind down, and I decide to eject and go for the number, which she gives. (Just in time as well, as she found her sister soon after and immediately went to leave with her.) Though, she mentioned that she lives in a small town roughly two hours from Poznan, and is completely busy for the next two weeks - but is more than down to meet up afterwards - by which time I'll be gone. Maybe I can get her out earlier - we'll see.

- Fourth one was on a really drunk chick who was kino-ing me a few minutes after I opened her - not realizing that her husband was standing a few steps away looking the other direction. Shortly afterwards, he and his friend realize I'm chatting up his wife, and they glare daggers at me while she's talking, but they don't confront me at all - until the husband apparently can't stand it anymore and drags his wife away - she blows kisses to me as they walk off. Least I'm not him, hahaha.

- Final hook was on the Club 22 floor, with a girl standing off to the side of the dancefloor. Her English was halting but understandable, and I was able to hold a conversation by watching that my words aren't too advanced and by speaking slower. We chatted for roughly 10 minutes, but in the middle of the conversation she excuses herself to go chat with her friend, saying that she'll "be right back." True to form, she didn't.

So that was my first night in Poznan. As of the end of Day 1, I've managed to collect two numbers so far - one from daygame which I'm hopeful for, and one from nightgame which I'm doubting will convert. Going to contact them both later tonight and see if I can set something up with the both of them. I think that most of the bars/clubs are closed here on Sunday (as you might guess, the Polish take their Roman Catholicism pretty seriously by comparison to back home) so it'll probably be another day focused on daygame for today. We'll see how that goes.

DAY 79 - 09/11/2014

POZNAN: Day 2 DayGame Report

Started daygaming at about noon this morning - went until 6pm, more or less.

It was fairly cold outside midday, so I didn't spend much time on the walkway between Stary Rynek (the Old Market Square) and Stary Browar (the mall). Once I got to Stary Browar was when I really started running approaches.

Of the approaches I managed to run while inside, three ended up hooking - two where the targets offered to walk me to the store that I was looking for (the Apple store), while one I managed to sit down with and have an extended conversation (she had been waiting for her mom to meet her when I approached.) I managed to go for the number-close each of the three times, but each time I got hit with IHAB.

Texted both of the numbers that I managed to obtain from last day/night. Both of them have responded so far. The nightgame one (more attractive but less available) responded within an hour, but I got radio silence when I tried to push for a meetup this week. The daygame one (somewhat less attractive than the other, but seemingly more available) didn't respond for something like 5 hours, and was pretty curt when she did. Thinking I might have to put that one on the back-burner.

I'm getting the sense that the rest of the week is going to be a slog - but I was somewhat mentally prepared for that to happen. Though, it is really refreshing to be able to ask a girl out to drinks and have her actually understand what your intention is behind it - or so it seems so far, at least.

DAY 80 - 10/11/2014

POZNAN: Day 3 DayGame Report

Today's score: two numbers from daygame (though one ended with a IHAB after-the-fact) and one from Tinder. Plus another Tinder prospect that looks warm.

The first number, I got on my first approach of the day - and she was a 10. Literal physical perfection - long brunette hair, large glassy-blue eyes, supermodel-thin .... I get hard just thinking about her Opened her on an escalator in Stary Browar and she offered to walk me to the Apple Store - her English wasn't that good but she was eager to talk. I figured she'd leave after we got to the Apple Store but she asked permission to stay and keep talking to me. Not like I'm going to complain, haha ..

Afterwards we walked over to Starbucks to get coffee together ... not only does she insist on paying for it with her credit card, but then asks me to walk her to work. As we're walking over I ask her what she wants to know about me and, I swear, the first two questions were "do you have a girlfriend?" and "is your apartment close to here?" At this point visions of a Same-Day Lay are dancing in my head, and I'm wondering if I've just hit the jackpot of the Gods of Game or something. I tried to nonchalantly steer her over towards my apartment (hey, maybe I could get really lucky) but she doesn't go for it.

We stop at a fountain in Stary Rynek and I offer to take a picture of her with the fountain - she adamantly refuses to because she thinks she's ugly. My jaw kinda dropped at that point, to be honest.Wish the pretty girls back home could be that meek ....

As we're winding down the conversation, I go for the NC and she accepts, and I have a shit-eating grin on the inside - but then she drops the "but-only-to-talk-because-I-have-boyfriend." Fuck. Well, at least I got a free coffee out of it ...

Second number was on a target that I asked for directions to the Starbucks. She seems really eager to talk, so I offer the insta-date once we get there - she's apparently busy at that moment. Go for the NC anyways and get the #. Will text her tomorrow and see if I can get anywhere with it.

As for Tinder - matched with three pretty cute chicks this morning. Bantered for about 2-3 messages then went for logistics on all three. One has to study all this week (maybe she'll be free next Sunday), one is free on Friday but has yet to give me her number, and one doesn't know if she'll be free this week but did send me her number (and said she'd "love to have drinks together " ). So we'll see how those go.

POZNAN: Day 3 NightGame Report

Considering it was a Monday night .... I daresay, I actually rather had a lot of fun last night.

Started off trying to figure out where I should go for a Monday night outing - so, true to form, I looked up Bang Poland to see if there was any recommendation. The book said Terytorium - so I went over, and it was shut down. So I walk back to my apartment trying to think where to go.

Up until this point I had thought Czekolada (that club we all know and love) was closed down since the restaurant was never opened - until I realized the club entrance was actually off to the side. Stupid me, haha. I vaguely remembered reading somewhere in the Poland thread that one should go Czekolada on weekdays and either Cuba Libre or SQ on the weekend, so I go in. Start time was about 10:30pm.

Over the course of the next hour or so I ran about 4-5 approaches ... and got shot down each time. Started to wonder if it was just my look that was sinking me with the Polish girls ... and then I saw a short-ish chick standing alone at the bar. She had a kinda cute face but with a mole, and I couldn't tell if she was thin enough or not. At this point I was on my third drink and bored as hell, so I opened her. Within a minute I could tell she wanted the D. I lightly felt her down as we talked to she if she was thin - she wasn't. Definite rolls going on. At this point it started to boil down to an argument about if I wanted the flag badly enough to lower my standards. I took another look at her and decided nope, I'm not here in this country to dumpster-dive for a flag.

Ejected and looked down at my watch - close to midnight. It was starting to fill up at this point, so I sat down for a minute, took a few deep breaths, and geared up for another round. By this point the girls had gotten some alcohol in them, and seemed significantly friendlier and open to talk. (Sidenote: while all this was going on I was setting up a meet with the Tinder girl who had given me her number earlier. Tried getting her out at 7pm, she said she had a concert with friends but was free before 4. I counter with 2pm and she agrees. I'll try and get the kiss, maybe pull to the apartment, and if not go for a Saturday/Sunday date.)

First approach was on one girl in a two-set while her friend was buying drinks. I basically ignored her while we chatted and she ended up giving me one of the four shots they had bought - and then she bought me another. Was chatting for a while but they suddenly walked off to the dancefloor and didn't invite me along so I let them leave. Saw her later grinding with another dude. Don't know if he managed to hit.

Second was on a girl who had been standing at the bar close to me watching me chat with the first one. Once they left, I opened her immediately. By this point I'm buzzed and warmed up enough that my approach anxiety is zero. We chat for a while but she then walks off to "talk with her friends."

Next is a cute girl standing two persons away from me at the bar - I scope her out and open her. She mentions how her boyfriend's the jealous type. I ask her if he's here - she says he is. I smirk and sarcastically remark how he's doing a pretty shitty job in that case. She laughs, and we chat for a minute before he notices me chatting his girl up and glares daggers at me as he drags her off. She smiles at me as she leaves.

Next one is an even cuter girl in a three-set who saw me chatting up the previous one. I look over at her and she's staring me down hard. I open and she seemed into it - until her friend shoves me in the shoulder and yells a stream of unintelligible Polish at me. I smirk and in my best deadpan/asshole voice, say that I don't speak any Polish, hoping she doesn't speak any English. She does. Says that her friend is drunk and has a boyfriend. Pulls the three of them away - the original target is still eyeing me down as they walk off. Bummer.

I decide at this point to hit the dancefloor and try some dancefloor approaches. Open a girl from the front and we dance for a while - but she doesn't do any grinding. Says she's "not that kind of girl." I laugh and tell her all the girls say that. She laughs and pushes me off as she walks away.

Turn around and make eye contact with a raven-haired chick - we start dirty dancing with each other. Go for about two minutes until she suddenly turns around and starts dancing with her girl friend.

I walk off back to the bar and there's a two set with a fairly cute chick beside me. Roughly a 6.5/7, depending on your tastes. OK face, but bangin' thin body and strawberry blonde hair. She's standing with crossed arms and a frown on her face. I'm still buzzed, so I figure, fuck it might as well. The second I open, her face lights up like I'm a Christmas present. We start chatting and she starts kino-ing me before I even think to try. However, she says she wants to go smoke a cigarette and asks for my number. I want to at least get a makeout at a minimum, so I counter with going to the dancefloor. This is interspersed with her friend trying to talk to her in Polish, so I have no clue what they're saying. I don't think she's trying to cockblock me, but no way to know. My target grabs my hand and starts walking to the floor. Finally, some progress.

We start dirty-dancing/grinding almost immediately - within a minute I've knocked out the kiss. For the next 30 or so minutes (I think) we alternate between dancing and making out - for a good portion of that with her back against the nearby wall and my left hand holding her wrists above her head. Love making out in that position, haha. While we're doing that my hands are exploring her thighs and legs, feeling her body. I touch her pussy lightly over her clothes and she seems to like it - try reaching in and she stops me with a smile on her face.

We went on for another 15 minutes or so, until her friend walks over and talks to her in Polish. She then says she has to leave with her friend. Guessing the friend was upset that no guy was trying to move on her. I try suggesting we three go drink somewhere else, but she won't go for it. I reluctantly get her number and a promise that we'll meet this Friday. Not expecting that to hold up, but we'll see.

Last approach of the night was on a chick who I thought at first was pretty cute, but who started to degrade as I kept talking to her. She had worse skin complexion that I thought at first and had a bit too much fat on her - also was drunk and, apparently, a virgin. She's kino-ing me and says she likes how I touch her (I had her pulled into me with my arms around her waist) but faceturns each time I try to kiss. I'm trying to mentally reason whether she's attractive enough to get the virgin flag and the Polish flag at the same time when she runs off.

So that was my night. Actually the most fun I've had on a night going out solo in a fairly long time. Hoping that the rest of the week is like this. Going to message the daygame girl and last night's chick after my date this afternoon to try and set something up for later in the week. I'm liking how this is going so far

DAY 81 - 11/11/2014

POZNAN: Day 4

Poland's Independence Day. And I just got punked.

Sent a confirmation text to my date one hour ahead asking her to txt when she's on her way. She doesn't respond.

I assume flake and go for some daygame. Get a text from her - she overslept her alarm and is really sorry, she's on her way.

I tell her to meet me at the large church in Stary Rynek. I realize soon after what a big mistake that is. There's literally huge crowds of people there - it'll be hard for us to find each other. She texts asking which church I'm at. I try calling her immediately afterwards - she doesn't answer. Texts back a minute or so later saying "her phone froze." She'll reload it and call me back.

I wait. She doesn't.

I leave and walk to Stary Browar as I had earlier decided. Get to the door and she calls me. Is really apologetic and says she'll be there in a few minutes. I suggest we meet at Czekolada and ask her if she knows where that is. She says she does and that she'll be there in a few minutes.

I hurry back. She's not there when I get there.

I wait another 10 or so minutes. Doesn't show.

I call her. No answer.

I'm still steaming as I'm writing this. I've never been stood up like this before. As much as I might bitch about Western chicks to a lot of people, none of them have ever done anything like that to me before. This just came completely out of left field.

We had said we'd meet at 2pm because she had a concert with friends at 5pm. I'm sickened and embarrassed at the thought she was stringing me along the whole time for kicks while laughing it up with her friends at the silly foreigner.

Gonna try do some daygame for what I can recover of today. Will update later.

LIVE UPDATE: Texted both the daygame and nightgame girls from Poznan Day3 wishing them a happy Independence Day. Both replied within the hour. Pushed for meetup this week with both. I think you rushed the "10" girl a little bit, seems strange she would pay for your coffee. I couldn't imagine any girl with a BF doing that, so it has me wondering if you are missing certain signals.

By the end it was pretty clear she really just wanted to get to talk to someone in English and practice it. My guess is maybe she just thought it'd be the polite thing to do for someone who just arrived. Even in game there's the odd outlier, I figure.

POZNAN: Day 4 NightGame Report

Tonight was an odd night. I either got scammed out of the equivalent of $12, or I just missed what could have been quite possibly the easiest lay - and flag - of my life.

The story:

Was at Cuba Libre after searching around trying to find a different place, since what I read in Bang Poland was that this venue would have girls with the worst attitudes I could find in Poznan (due to the sheer number of foreigners that would often come through here.) True to form, the book was correct - first approach was a blowout, second ended up with her giving me a semi-hostile interrogation on my background until her friend pulled her away.

Third approach was on a petite blonde standing next to me at the bar, with another girl and one guy. I open her and she hooks pretty warmly, until the guy pulls her by her hair away from me and into him. I look on semi-shocked as she smiles apologetically at me and motions for me to wait a moment ... then they walk off.

I see them walk off and sit down at one of the nearby couches. She eyes me down and motions for me to join her. I stand my ground and motion for her to come back to me. This goes on for a few seconds until she gets up and comes over to me. We banter for about a minute or so and she grabs my hand to physically pull me over to the couch. I later learn at this point that the guy that's with them is the fiancee of the other girl - my target is the girl's friend. I could tell that he wasn't happy with the fact I was talking to my target. Through all this, he's reaching down the front of his pants for his balls, his pants are unbuckled and his fly is unzipped as if he's about to take a piss.

She said she was from Wroclaw and told me she was leaving the next morning (I was trying to feel out number availability.) Soon afterwards, she said that she had to leave with her friend because the fiancee (who was obviously intoxicated) wanted to go elsewhere. I counter that her friend can leave with the fiancee and she can stay and drink with me. She says they will all go to another place and I am welcome to join them. Thinking that she's a viable prospect, and not relishing more attitude from the girls at Cuba Libre, I go for it.

Once we get outside, it turns out that he went to go get something to eat, leaving the three of us together in the street. My target suggests we go drink at the Ice Bar just near Cuba Libre, and we head off. By this point, she and I are walking hand-in-hand. We get there and they order three shots of something sweet - I know it was 6zl per shot, or roughly $2 each. We down the shots and they suggest getting another round - this time of four, since apparently the bartender wanted to drink with us, so we're only charged the three. The total comes to 34zl, and they look over to me as if expecting me to pay for it. It truly isn't that much for me - roughly $12 at the current exchange rate - so I pay for the shots.

We banter for a bit more, until she, out of the blue, asks me what my astrological sign is. I remember from Bang Poland one of the stories where Roosh's girl asks him the exact same question and it's basically a blatant tell that she wants to have sex, so I'm pretty pumped at this point.

Soon after she tells me that her friend has to leave ...

... and I'm thinking, fuck, these girls just scammed me...

... and that she'll stay with me while her friend goes home with her fiancee.

At this point fireworks are going off in my head. I'm thinking I basically have it made.

Of course ... I don't.

The three of us walk outside to find her fiancee and drop off the friend. He really doesn't like the fact that she's staying with me. Starts screaming and swearing at me in Polish - I remain impassive (I know he was swearing by the frequent repetition of the word kurva.) My target mentions he was in the army - hell, maybe he's some sort of ultra-nationalist freak or whatever. Meanwhile, the other girl is trying to get my number and asking where my apartment is and begging me to take care of her friend. My target and the fiancee get into an extended argument in Polish, and I have no clue what's going on .. until the target starts walking - away from me and the other two.

I follow her, trying to understand what's going on ... and the fiancee shoves me, hard. Obviously, with me being military and all, there's absolutely no way I can get into trouble here - things like that can lose you your career back home, let alone in a foreign country where you could cause an international incident. And he has something like 30-40lbs (of fat, not muscle) on me, so I truly don't know if I could take him or not. And I'm not about to try and find out. She turns back and says to me that she's really, really sorry, but that he's just being "too crazy" and she needs to head home. I watch, in utter disbelief at my bad luck, as they walk off.

Now, the story at the Ice Bar reads a lot like the scams that Roosh warned about in Don't Bang Latvia. I realize that there's a bit of rationalization hamster in what I'm about to say, but for a potential scam, it was a Emmy-level act for really not that much in the way of profit. 34zl? Surely they'd try and do better than that.

So what I think happened is this: that to some drunk, slovenly Polish ultranationalist fucktard, the thought of his fiancee's attractive friend getting banged out by some strange foreigner barely 20 minutes into knowing her - on her country's Independence Day, no less - was too much to bear for him.

At the very least, my nights out here have progressed in a strangely linear fashion from blowout to hook to number to makeout to almost-bang. So I just gotta stick it out, I guess.

A scam for getting free shots but almost risking a fight? That really makes no sense, especially when they went back home. Polish(or Russian guys can just get extremely voilent wen they drink.

But what did you expect? Imagine a foreigner comes over, ignores you and tries to pull the friend of you fiancee that you are probably responsible for. This is basic game knowledge! No matter in which country you always should try to befriend the cockblock/obstacle. I mean you saw from the beginning that he was pulling her away. Even with the language barrier your target could translate a bit, you could have invited the dude for a beer and find out that you have something in comon because you are both in the army. No matter how she likes you, she will always do what her friends are suggesting because she knows them for years.

^Fair point - and I completely get the concept of befriending obstacles when gaming. The fact is, though, that the guy was 1) utterly repulsive and 2) hostile towards me from the get-go.
Game or not, I'm not going to try to befriend people who treat me like shit.

I get that a person can be displeased, but that doesn't give them license to act in such an insolent manner.

I follow her, trying to understand what's going on ... and the fiancee shoves me, hard.

That's why I prefer more tourist-friendly polish cities like Krakow or Wroclaw, where surely your foreign status doesn't have huge value to a girl's eyes, but people are more educated and open-minded, due to the wide university culture, and tools like the one you describes are usually not admitted in most of the venues, but relegated in second tier clubs out of the city centre.

DAY 82 - 12/11/2014

POZNAN: Day 5 DayGame Report

Daygame was a bust today. Was just feeling ... off, I guess. Don't really know how to say it. Probably I was still just down from the double-whammy events of last day/night.

For an afternoon of approaching (12:00 - roughly 5:30 pm) I got three hooks and a number that is almost certainly fake.

The three hooks were by asking the targets if they knew where the Starbucks at Stary Browar was, and them walking me to it - I tried going for the insta-date/NC but got nothing all three times. Wanted to see if I could do any better by shortening the time from approach/close to get more approaches in - but it wasn't working out.

The fake NC was with a fairly attractive 8/8.5 whom I opened by asking for directions to the Apple Store (making sure to include what ramble I could smoothly come up with) and, at first, it hooked well. She offered to walk me over and introduced herself before I could ask her name (I had just finished running the G in Galnuc when she did.) Through the ramble I got some warm laughter out of her, and I thought she was displaying strong interest.

As we're walking to the Apple store I seed the insta-date by asking off-handedly if there were any good coffee shops in the mall - once we got to the store, as I'm about to say bye, I mention planning on getting a coffee and that "she's free to join me if she wants." I went for the insta-date because I thought I had enough interest showing to justify the extra time spent. After a second or so of hesitation, she says yes and we head over to the nearest cafe.

After this point it got kinda awkward. She just seemed to completely shut down - wasn't initiating anything in the way of conversation. I started to resort to pulling in some first-date material - talking about travel, culture/societal differences between Poland and Canada, etc. - to avoid awkward silence. She ended up mentioning she was shy when I lightly asked her why she was so quiet. But at that point the conversation was feeling almost forced on my part. I haven't had that happen that often to me before.

I decide to eject and go for the NC - she counters with asking for my Facebook. I tell her I don't have Facebook and she accepts exchanging numbers. Mentioned that her phone battery was dead so I couldn't put mine in, though (I think) I remembered seeing her using it before I went for the approach. In any case, I've grown to figure that a girl mentioning a dead battery/phone usually means that the upcoming number is a fake. And, as I figured, the text I sent with her beside me hasn't been responded to yet. Still trying to figure what happened.

UPDATE TO THE ABOVE: So the number actually wasn't a fake. She just texted me back now. Huh.

Going to message tomorrow and see if I can get her out this weekend.

Matched with a cute redhead on Tinder who wants to meet me for drinks but is completely unavailable until Tuesday. I leave Monday. If only there was more time...

POZNAN: Day 5 NightGame Report

Unfortunately, nightgame was a bust as well. I'm pretty sure it was because a lot of people went out on Monday and Tuesday nights (for Independence Day celebrations) and were thinking to take a break last night.

Started at Czekolada around 11:00pm and the place was virtually empty. By the time it started to fill at about 11:30-11:45 it was almost a complete sausagefest. I was at the bar about to order a drink close to midnight when I hear a group of guys talking English. Turns out they're a group of 7-10 students from all over the Anglosphere - London, Canada, the US. I look over and some of them are already running kamikaze approaches on the local girls. Fuck - gotta get moving fast before I get lumped in with them.

Open one girl in a two-set at the bar - she doesn't seem immediately interested but she's asking me questions and trying to make conversation, so for lack of other options I keep going. Turns out that she's from Warsaw, it's her 18th birthday, and her friends "kidnapped" her to come to Poznan for the night. Doubtful that I could isolate, but she offers to introduce me to her friends, and figuring maybe I could switch targets, I go with them. The six of us drink together for a while - making fun of the other drunk foreign students in the club - and afterwards we hit the dancefloor. I try to run my dancefloor escalation game but get pushback from my original target once I start getting closer - she's not interested, I conclude. I switch targets to one of the girls who seemed to be giving me some interest earlier - dance with her but I hit resistance at the same point. They end up walking off and I let them go.

Go back to the bar area and it's even worse. Virtually every girl is on the dance floor, whereas the bar area is almost completely guys. I wasn't feeling up to dancefloor approaches (which are starting to feel more and more like kamikaze-style suicide missions sometimes) so I grab another drink. End up chatting with this American expat - we exchange travel stories and whatnot. He says he's heading over to Cuba Libre, and I'm not liking the amount of sausage here, so I bounce with him over there.

True to form, the girls at Cuba Libre are pretty hostile. Ran three approaches there before calling it a night. All three went the same - maybe a minute or so of initial interest, 5-7 minutes of convo, and then the girls excuse themselves.

I have my date scheduled for 6pm tonight with the Monday night girl from Czekolada. Right now she represents the best chance I have at getting the flag. Hoping it goes well. Will update later.

For girls, Poznan blows Hamburg out of the water. It isn't even a competition. The girls in Poznan are actually fun to talk to - in Hamburg, it's virtually impossible to flirt with the girls or build any sexual tension at all since they're so socially oblivious. Running game there, you're going to feel like you're trying to adjust an insurance policy.

I'd say for attractiveness that they're about equal - lot of thin girls with long legs in both cities. But for game, it's Poznan seven ways to Sunday.
