For me Kharkiv is the only major city in Ukraine where I never had success with girls, repeatedly... I believe women do not like foreigners there. A little bit like in Donbass.

Roosh also hated his few months in Kharkiv, I think...

But the nightlife is more fun than in Kyiv, in my opinion.

I went to Kharkov a few weeks ago, I was impressed with the city, the very centre is modern and there are some good restaurants. Prices are probably the cheapest I have seen for a major city. One drawback was apartments, daily rentals are of a very low standard unless you are willing to pay a lot of money, this is due to lack of tourists and most people renting their apartments out long term to students. You are probably better off in a hotel.

The girls are very hot, but not as receptive as in other cities. I would say that Kharkov is good to visit, make sure you have some bang leads before you go. Nowhere in Ukraine is difficult to meet chicks, overall your chances are better in Kiev though

I saw the "girlfriends" Roosh had when he spent time in that city, very impressive to say the least. I believe during that time, he wasn't into mini relationships.

His comment to me, was that the girls aren't slutty and look for relationships.

A warning, though: this original and interesting bar can be dead (few customers and even fewer waitresses) outside of busy week-end evenings, and also, it is rather hard to find, being hidden at the back of some apartment buildings. It's more of a pre club place to have some beers, steaks and a laugh with friends rather than a pickup joint. Although you can get some hot girls in the and the Western style bar is conducive to mingling.

English is lower in Kharkov than Kiev, Lviv, and Odessa. But it's getting better. English levels are higher now than four years ago.

International flight options went from bad to worse once the conflict started. Some routes have recently resumed, but generally you'll need to connect. Sometimes I end up taking the express train from Kiev.

Thanks for the info and other great posters. Right now I'm leaning towards having some the Kharhov girls meet me in Kiev.
That way the sex usually comes faster since we are staying together right away.

Spring is a magical time in Kiev as the weather allows for girls to switch to mini skirts.

Yes the legs are starting to come out now, it's a different country. Soon they will shed those long bubble jackets that cover their ass. Spring doesn't usually properly start until April

So I'm back from a month-long stay in Kiev. I loved it, and a lot of the info on this thread in regards to Kiev is wrong. I think it's mostly complainers who didn't get what they were looking for. Don't get me wrong, a lot of the info is right - but there is a bunch of horrible incorrect info.

Anyways, just a brief summary:

- One-month, slept with 6 girls. Could have been with more, but I found a steady girl and kind of stayed with her.

- I spent most of my time doing night game, didn't really venture into the day-game. I slept in too late usually.

- Online game in Kiev is insane. Badoo/Tinder make it too easy to get girls, and going back - I'd cut down the online game. I felt lazy.

- Kiev isn't a ONS culture per se, but it's not hard to get a girl in one night. 3/6 of my lays came from one-night-stands.

- Food/Alcohol is dirt cheap

- Taxes are cheap, but you'll see a big discount with local girls

- English proficiency is medium, and while you can get with girls who don't speak it, it's really not worth it.

- There are a lot of good hipster bars in Kiev. A lot. You can walk on a stretch of road, and hit 10 nice little bars, but you wouldn't know as they're hid through archways etc, and underground.

- Main bar was Banka for me. It has a crazy girl-to-guy ratio most nights, and the bartenders were familiar with us.

- Arena City is decent because it's open late, but it's dead monday-thursday, whereas other places are still busy.

- I went to a few clubs, but I didn't like the quality in most of them. I find the little bars were better.

- I got called a sex tourist once, but girls didn't have a problem with me and didn't ask me much why I was in town.

- Being a foreigner is a huge value booster here, and I've never had more girls give me good indicators as I have here

- Girls are approachable, and most were nice.

- Didn't have any problems with guys etc...

- A big thing here, is don't approach sets. Guys are very aggressive in defending their girls.

- Social circles are massive. Find a steady girl, get introduced to her circle. If I had three-months here, I would clean up because I had been introduced to a social circle (even though I was seeing one of the girls, I got numbers from it).

- Good crew from the forum there - met Beirut, Remi, Otzmatron, Ed, etc.. all good guys, and enjoyed hanging out with them.

- I'll be posting a few stories eventually, but I had a great time. Plan to go back, maybe hit up Moldova.

Kharkiv has that type, but even more so you'll find that type in Zaporizhia. And I heard it's a very common look in Dnipropetrovsk which is close to Zapo.

Speaking of girl-to-guy ratios. March 8 is coming up, it's Woman's Day. The best girl-to-guy ratio night of the year is always March 8. Even if it falls on a Tuesday, it should be a good night to go out.

50pc conversation rate for ONS is very good. Yes Hipster bars can be a goldmine in Ukraine. I didn't have much success at Banka, it's very small so you have to be lucky with whose there.

Would be good to know some other hipster places you went to, it's always easier to sell yourself in a bar rather than a nightclub where there's more attitude and louder music

I was seeing a girl from Zaporozye, jet black hair and a big hairy snatch to match. Very unusual for Ukraine, they are often shaved.

I 2nd that, I've heard good things about Moldova as well from my taxi driver in Odessa. Very cheap + good girls with black hair, but also have heard that there's more crime.

I went through Moldova on my way to Romania. The infrastructure there was terrible. There were run down sidewalks and potholes everywhere. Their economy is pretty much non existent.

I didn't see anything there that would make it a viable long term stay other than the girls which Ukraine already has. Plus Ukraine has more western and entertainment options.

Has anyone been to Zaporozhye within the last few years? I did not get there the last time I was in country some years ago. I'm a big fan of travelling to backwaters, especially in the former Warsaw pact.
