Funny how things can change really rapidly, OKC had been dead for me for about a month, and suddenly last night around 1 AM my phone starts blowing up from three girls at the same time. One of them was someone who I sent an opening message to a good 2 months ago and had totally forgotten about (so she probably just got 'single' again after the holidays and is going thru her pile of messages picking out the winners.) I knew if I let it drag into the next day it would be over, so I stayed up and got their numbers, one definite meet already scheduled, one still open but will probably happen, one probable timewaster. So in addition to the girl I mention a few posts above, if I'm lucky, I'll have three meetups this week. After weeks of zip.

Sorry I ever doubted the guys who were saying it would get better in January.

I wanted to share my recent OKC experience for whomever it might be useful/helpful.

I have 2 OKC accounts, real one with pic, info & the whole nine yards and the "observation" one with just a profile pic in it and no whatsoever activity until yesterday. Despite all that, until yesterday, the profiles would get similar number of visits and likes and actually the fake one has occasionally even gotten messages from OKC women.
While I don't consider myself & my pictures ugly, I can't say they're out of a Hollywood movie either, but if this "observation" profile with only one picture of a dude sitting and drinking beer gets more traffic than the real one, it means that looks matter which confirms the 20/80 rule and apparently if one is not on the top 20, will have a much harder time in OKC. Talk about bitches' double standard.

Yesterday evening I started filling in some info and answering some questions. In about 1 hour I filled in 40 questions and the first 3 info boxes.
In the process I got 12+ visits, about 6 likes and 1 received message. Today I noticed also 4 quick matches.
I guess that confirms that performing activity on the profile, especially on a Sunday evening, increases traffic. Women's "Getting a bf" new year resolution might add to that.

It was a daytime date, I very rarely do these as it's much harder for anything to happen and I took it as a slow burner. I met up with her and she had a hot drink as it was fucking freezing outside and the place we went to wasn't ideal (my regular was full) as it felt too pretentious like a 5 star hotel bar sort of vibe to it. Too much of a whiff of rich man's game to it. No alcohol also generally translates to no sex, not always but often.

I did a variety of negative expressions, some kino. Eventually pulled her back to my place as it was getting darker. There nothing happened, I went for the kiss and she backed off, I backed off and tried some kino and back to escalate but nothing worked. So I told her we should be friends and kicked her the fuck out before she wasted my time any further.

I used to chalk it to experience but the more you go through the less you are willing to put up with. I didn't get angry or upset I just smiled at her and showed her the way out.

Exactly, and it comes out on dates too - the girls I've banged were somewhat respectful and at least put up a guise that I wasn't the third guy they met up with this week, the ones I didn't often do and say whatever they want, want to chat with me about their Tinder statistics, steal glassware from bars, and I catch them texting the next guy they're seeing that evening when I'm leaving the bathroom. I wouldn't get upset over it, not really productive. Just throw the ones who reply but are wishy-washy in a list and hit them up later...they may ghost on you now, but if you text them a month from now they may be ready to go. It's happened to me and just kind of the way women on dating sites operate. The days of two people just immediately hitting it off ("clicking") on a site with mutual respect and meeting up with no drama seem mostly over - the high quality girls are going to play games and make you work for it.

Your instincts were correct on Friday being too far away, but also never book a first meeting for a Friday or Saturday. Too many other options for stuff to do + too high-pressure. Shoot for nice Sunday or Tuesday nights, then the setup is chill and you have a PUA-esque false time constraint built-in of having to get to bed to go to work.
