I appreciate your honesty Roosh. Most people on here (including me) take your opinion as gold so you've saved many people a lot of time and energy by being frank about the realities of Rus

I know you don't do Bang country guides anymore but if you wrote one about Russian women specifically with a nod to men going there for more serious relationships I feel it would do very well as most of the material is very biased and yours would be good for anyone interested in Rus women

In rankings of Fsu would you put Russia at the bottom in terms of your overall experience?

I think that would be difficult considering Roosh was in Tomsk for only ~5 weeks and will be in Moscow for a few at the most. How many serious relationships do you think he nailed down during that time?

Pretty hard to review /give advice on LTR's if one is productively avoiding them.
Better would to go to a gov't site that reports amount of divorces of foreign brides.

Met a girl tonight... she seems interested. Funny part: she mentioned how she likes Italy. If a girl mentions Italy at any point in the conversation, I know I'm in. I'm disappointed that it's really just coming down to a girl liking my general type of look.

These snobby clubs (I was in Barbados) are ultimately a waste of time. If I lived here I'd do day game only. The girls in the decent clubs are hyper confident, know they are hot, and are not at all hurting to meet men. You meet a nice girl once every 5 approaches.

Roosh, but what about the ratios at these Moscow clubs? Since there are statistically more women than man in Moscow If the ratios favor men and face control prevents stag parties and other groups of guys from getting in wouldn't the girls be somewhat receptive to being approached, giving numbers, and makeouts?

This sounds like another way of saying ''Game doesn't matter in Moscow. Only money and looks do.'' I hope you've been just pushing the wrong buttons and it's not that pessimistic. Maybe building a network and social circle will work better than trying to seduce women with cold approaches.

Ratios tend to be good. However, this is not a guarantee of anything. When I went out with slubu there were more women than men, but a number gave the cold Russian shoulder. So while there is definitely a bigger and better (much better) selection of girls, this does not translate to them necessarily being receptive.

Moscow (and perhaps Russia) just has a lot of contradictions.

I'm saying that to get you foot into the door with a Russian girl, you have to fit her general profile. I'm finding that most conversations with a girl that passes 20 minutes or ends in a number results from a girl who has the darker preference. Though just because she has this preference doesn't mean I will smash. Other components are of course needed.

It's kind of like the female version of face control. If a bouncer can size you up in one second to see if you're a good fit for the club, there's no reason why women wouldn't do the same for men they may want to have a relationship with.

This is why I was very insistent on people with a non-white appearance think carefully before investing in Russia. Anyone who can pass as European is ok, but as of my last time in Moscow (summer 2013) the nationalist sentiment is on the rise.

I'm feeling a bit validated reading this blog and thinking about my mediocre success in Moscow - seems like there was nothing I could do about it. I should have put more effort into social circle game and less into clubbing, but didn't realize it at the time. Best of luck on your next destination.

Not sure if you are into this, but here is another suggestion. Yoga. Many of these Russian girls are into yoga and spirituality. These types also seem to have a preference for, or are at least receptive to darker guys.

I went to meet an American guy for coffee and it ended up being a 9 hour field trip that included an Elimidate scenario with three pretty 19-year-olds.

At the same time it's not easy here... it IS easy to meet very nice girls. It's quite strange. I feel like a handyman where I find myself in front of a door and I must go through a huge keychain full of keys to find which one will fit. Sometimes I find the right key and sometimes I don't.

The Standard bar (next to Propaganda) was quite good. All girls spoke English (many were English teachers) and were ready to mingle.

I currently live in MOS and have to comment on this: Girls are far more beautiful than in the Western world. This is even far more visible when going out at night. Further, you do not really need to have "game" in order to succeed. As long as you are nice, cultivated and good looking you are in with many girls. There's basically two types of exception:

a. Super rich girls (Talking multimillion)
b. Die-Hard Patriots (Met them maybe twice)

Further, I also see a correlation between time spent in foreign countries and degree of liberal thinking (in any sense). I currently do not have any problem finding a girl in any night out - it's just about the way you look and behave.

I found it to be more of the latter than the former, although I have come across a handful of hater bartenders, but not a rate higher than back in the U.S.

My only story involving somewhat of a "cockblock" was when I was in a club in Irkutsk, there was a girl dancing by herself and I went up to talk to her and apparently I got too close for comfort and was physically separated by a guy standing nearby. After that she told me she was married and that was her brother. Needless to say I moved along quickly and was watching my back the rest of the night.

I have seen some cockblocking/angry behavior, and also some encouraging behavior. But by far the biggest danger in Russia is the "wow, you're a foreigner, let me buy you a drink!"

As soon as a Russian guy offers me a drink nowadays I try to get the fuck out ASAP. The problem is this often leads to a huge binge fest, which at best will ruin the night and at worst can lead to arguments and/or violence.

Last month I got sucked into one of these against all my attempts by some friends. We ended up doing 15-20 shots each and one of my friends was almost comatose.

This is extraordinarily common, on trains you will sometimes "befriend" a Russian guy, and then 12 hours and 12 drinks later you'll realize you missed all opportunities at gaming women because you've been so wasted.

It's not conscience cockblocking behavior but the end result is the same.

And the danger if you refuse a drink is you'll often get the "oh, you don't respect me?" line. Tread carefully.
