Appear to have money is the key term for this here.

In just about any given filipino family there will be like maybe 10-20% who actually earn most of the money and everyone else just leeches off those primary earners. This includes OFW workers sending money home, call center folk, filipino overseas residents in the U.S./Canada etc..

When you go to the mall during even the mid day on working weekdays and walk around you see an inordinate number of people just hanging out, eating fast food, shopping, and watching movies etc... This is highly unusual for most of asia.

I certainly don't see this in many other countries where mid-day during a work week malls don't nearly have that many people just lounging around stuffing their faces and having a ball.

Plus filipino culture is such that every peso earned is every peso spent. Very little saving or investing going on unless you're one of the designated primary earners in which case you're expected to give most of your money to the shameless freeloading members.

That's why some pinoy fathers are more than happy to marry their daughters off...it's better to unload some of that excess baggage especially if they aren't producing anything. Plus the possibility of recruiting another primary designated earner into the fold (especially porenor) makes it worthwhile.

RE: The Philippines thread
So I've kept in touch w/some of the high-society peeps I meet on my trip. Some of them are bicoastal and live in LA and Phils.

The rich "society" is tiny. I had dinner w some filipino friends here in LA and they'll bring their friends... They all know the same ppl I know from Manila.

Its kind of a mindf-ck.

I had dinner and "insert famous filipina actress" was there and I had zero clue who she was. Then my boys are showing me videos of them in Manila for her movie premiere and its like TMZ level stalker fans. For obvious reasons, I will keep her privacy (and mine).

Manila is going to have its own version of Soho House....called Manila House. Invite only, rich pre-screened members only club (or invite by member). Should open by next year. If you are living there full-time, it might be worth it to try and get a membership. Its going to exorbitantly priced by Phils standards to keep riff-raff out. I think the # thrown around was 3-4k/year membership fees.

WIA- For most of men, our time being masters of our own fate, kings in our own castles is short. Even those of us in the game will eventually succumb to ease of servitude rather than deal with the malaise of solitude

RE: The Philippines thread
I'd like to share my thoughts. I have just come back at home after 20 days in Manila. You want to know if I enjoyed my days in Makati? Yes and not. Why? I don't like pro or freelancers at all but I like regular girls only. I'm old, not young. It was very easy to find regular girls in Manila but I talked with them before my arriving in Manila. I talked with many girls but I met only 2 girls, the best girls among many girls. In my opinion Manila girls are not beautiful, I like only Visayas girls, they are more beautiful and sweet. In 20 days I fucked 2 Mindanao girls only living in Manila for some months and I get a wonderful girlfriend experience with them. They were the best experiences in my life but not for sex. They were so sweet and they often wanted kiss me and to fuck with me always in every time and they always were so wet. I was on the bed with tme for many hours every day to fuck them but sex was so poor.
They were shy and when I told them to remove their shyness, it was impossibile even after 10 days. They were shy when I looked at them. If I looked at their ass they covered it. Even I haven't seen their ass if it were beautiful or not. It can be incredible, I don't know if they have a beautiful ass but they loved a lot to fuck with me. My question: I'd like to reach Philippines again fot thos wonderful girlfriend experiences but if I will get the same sex even with other shy girls I will not go there anymore and I will reach another country. Repeat, I don't like pro girls and I don't like Manila girls but only Viasyas girls. What is your thought? Will I be able some other not shy girls of Visayas? Are there non shy girls or are they so few?

You're being baited with their "fake shyness", especially if you are an older guy. Tread carefully.

Do you think if I will fuck her the next year she will be less shy? mmm I don't think it. Visayas girls are more shy than Manila girls.

That was awesome.

Surprised the fat cunt didn't die in the process.

When WE came to Twin Peaks for Project Bluebook, the White Lodge spirits recognised his heart was pure and tried to possess WE to find out about the Black Lodge. To stop WL spirits from entering his body he used Haliperidol. It appeared the Haliperidol was causing insanity, but the Haliperidol was allowing his natural evil and insanity to express itself.

Got about 20 entries and lived there for three years. Just signed on a condo and will move there permanently next year.

I'm not saying to take any action, but I'm telling you that the shyness is an act.

Edit: To elaborate, you should check out ThoughGypsy's post on screening a Pinay LTR:

/thread-54950.html

He hit all the major points and I don't have much to add other than, don't let "shyness" be an indicator of chastity.

If chastity is what you're looking for, you won't find that on the internet.

It's the end result of a lifetime of the blue pill. Decades of taking shit from employers and women, slowly hating himself more and more and eating to dull the pain, trying to redeem his life by dating a young Pinay and then getting fucked over by her because he still doesn't get it. The final alcoholic meltdown ensues.

Just a guess.

I went to college with a few of these cats and agree it's a pretty small community. People tend to know each other and bad gossip gets around just as quick too Wink. Only separation tends to be norcal and socal filipinos. Norcal fil-ams tend to hang out in their filipino enclaves more or and are more U.S. based in general. Socal fil-ams are almost always jet set and bicoastal.

I'm on the last leg of my trip in the Philippines. I spent some time with women here, but mostly I spent time viewing and doing everything that I could. It's a beautiful place, though it does have its problems, and I enjoyed my stay here immensely.

RE: The Philippines thread
I didn't have a good time in Cebu (only 2 BJs in 5 days) so please take this post with a grain of salt. I can see why people like this place and got nothing against those who choose to live there or visit frequently.

Some observations on the Phils:

1) The people there are about as friendly as you could ask them to be. Also I find their carefree nature somewhat endearing.

2) I probably messed up by going to Cebu... but the girls just didn't do it for me. Something about banging 3rd world non hi-so girls is very unappealing to me even if they pass the boner test. Also I've always been a light-skinned fan for Asian chicks so it's really hard to go for any chicks who aren't light-skinned...

3) The infrastructure makes this place unlivable for me personally. Couldn't even do online game once I got there because I couldn't get good wifi anywhere lol.

Personally I don't see myself coming back to the Philippines to meet girls unless I'm divorced and in my mid to late 40s.

The real magic of Cebu imo is that you can go from grimy to up-scale in less than 15 mins taxi ride.

Its also where you can pickup a 18 yr old girl whos middle class but take her upscale (by Phils standards) and wow them for cheap.

I found Cebu to be rough as well. It just doesn't appeal to some people. It seems to be the kind of place where people are living, fucking and dying with a kind of desperate exuberance. Just my impression. On the other hand, Davao strikes me as somewhere where more people are just happy living out their lives at a slower pace.

Didn't care for Cebu either and have said as much many times on here.

I dislike the demographic meld of hard luck Filipinos from elsewhere in the Visayas and on the other extreme snooty manila transplants, local Cebuanas (#1 cuntiest filipinas), lots of retired expat blowhards, and a massive number of tourists passing through.

Cebu is more or less malate on an island. The countryside is pleasant enough going up to malapascua though.

Yes there are high end areas but nothing exceptional. It's nothing like Phuket in that regard where real cashed up people hang out.
