All you guys have to do is drive 30 minutes outside of Fort BGC and Makati.

Hundreds of you guys ARE showing up to bang the SAME girls.

True but at least from what I've experienced, the girls that bang many guys actually don't talk like that at all.

Some Filipinas are weirdly nerdy and think they can 'streamline' their online love life.

I've seen stuff like "if I match you, you have 3 days to initiate conversation or I'll unmatch".

By the same token, a girl has tens of chat relationships (and none in real life) and thinks she's actually having a love life.

Or a girl thinks she can filter her few hundred matches systematically until she finds her dream guy.

These are just weirdos, no way around it. Swipe left immediately. Wave

Based on the following evidence, I would say the answer would be a resounding 'yes', however I would be curious to read the anecdotal views from some long-term residents.

All of Philippines

According to this source [ref 1], tourism has increased substantially in the past decade:

[Image: philippines-tourist-arrivals.png?s=phili...ype=column]

I also find the 'per capita spending by country' to be of interest [ref 2], and would LOVE to know how much of the below cash spent by the Canadians, Aussies and so on are beta bucks.

Collecting this data from girls could likewise be challenging:

Philippines Census 2016
Question # 12.2: Pre-tax Income

> Sources:
.i. Employment (full-time, casual)
.ii. Family (immediate, extended)
.iii. Other (gifts from my 'pogi', drinks at the club, guilt-tripped taxi rides home at 4am, Globe and Smart load - "why? because I wanna talk to you more honey but I am almost out of credit and I can't get it here in the province with my family and 13 cousins and none of them have credit...")

Re: arrivals per country - Koreans top the bill as usual whilst the Chinese are spreading themselves across the world at eye-opening rates, including the Philippines: "China posted a very high growth of 98.31% for the 1st Quarter of 2016." [ref 2].

Manila

With a brief search, I have not found usable year-by-year, stand alone data that indicate how many nights on average each tourist spent in Manila vs Cebu etc. This is unsurprising when considering that the Philippines' own Office of Tourism cited a number of limitations in gathering such intel, notably a "Lack of interest in tourism statistics" [ref 3].

There are other sources that nonetheless break down visitors by area [ref 4], and whilst this is helpful in that it differentiates between foreign and domestic tourism, it doesn't compare the data across years and it is unclear how it's gathered.

All that said, I would refer to the following for a strong hint in answer to the original question: "...Colliers International analyst Romeo Arahan Jr said an average of 4,300 rooms will be delivered annually in Metro Manila starting this year {2014} until 2016, the highest number of completed units since 1988" [ref 5].

Side notes:

I find the Gender breakdown -- albeit dated from 2011 -- to be interesting [ref 6]

Sex (%)
> Male: 58.58
> Female: 39.82
> Not Stated: 1.60
> VEGAN

As such I would like to see some more honesty in the immigration forms:

Philippines Arrivals 2016
Question # 4: Purpose of visit

>Visit Friends/Relatives
>Education
>Business
>Holiday
.i. Attend Sinulog and achieve cultural immersion via involuntary face-painting and jeepney-induced black lung
.ii. Find my third-world unicorn who loves me for who I really am
.iii. Lower my monthly personal best conversion rate from HRB (Ho Raw-Blasting) to STD infection.
.iv. Because of promised Poosy Paradise at RvF*

[*I am super curious about this one]

Finally, at least some statisticians are trying to lighten their burden for the greater good [ref 7]:

"In accordance with our corporate core value to be ever relevant to our stakeholders, we, the NSCB Technical Staff are more than challenged not only to look and feel sexier but also how to make our statistics sexy" (bolded and italicized by the original author, hahaa).

RE: The Philippines thread
I just landed in Manila last Wednesday for a 5 week trip through the Philippines that includes visiting Palawan, Davao City, Boracay, and Cebu.

I'd like to thank everyone who suggested the Philippines for my first big international trip, because holy fuck, I haven't even been here a week and I swear I already have had enough adventures and misadventures to write a memoir.

I've had enough Tinder matches lined up that I haven't even had a chance to try Filipino Cupid. +2 so far, including one virgin who was on her period. I probably could have had more, had I not accidentally gone on 2 other dates with girls who are prostitutes.

Word of caution here, NEVER NEVER NEVER meet up with a girl here who suggests meeting up first; she is a whore. Only meet up with girls where you are the one to suggest meeting first.

I learned this the hard way after accidentally taking one home to the condo I rented on Airbnb, who only then stated she charges money for her services. I should have listened to my instincts when she asked me to pay for her taxi ride to the bar where we met, but at the time I thought "eh, it's only $3". I even asked her before we met if she was a prostitute, and she said no. I told her I don't pay, but then she demanded money for her time anyway. I kept telling her to leave, but she refused to without the 1200 pesos she was demanding. I told her I'd give her 200 so she could get a taxi so she'd leave, but she wouldn't leave without 1200. I tried to drag her out, but then she started screaming for help. At one point she grabbed a glass dish and threatened to smash it against the TV. Luckily, a neighbor came by due to the commotion, and I calmly explained that I simply wanted her to leave. She kept telling him I refused to pay her for her services, plus whatever else she explained in Tagalog, but being a local I think he knew the game she was playing. He negotiated down to 600 to get her to leave and when she protested, he shot her a look and a command to shut up in such a dominant way that I can't do and am completely envious of. I eventually paid her the 600 just to get her to go away, which the neighbor explained was just easier than getting the police involved. He's probably right, but this girl is worse than a whore because at least whores provide something for the money. She texted me some insults later, and then claimed to be a lady boy. I can't trust anything she says, so I'm just going to choose to believe she was lying.

At least the other prostitute I accidentally took home left without incident when I told her I don't pay.

Anyway, I'm in Manila until Friday if anyone else is here and wants to meet.

This story is classic. I think most who have ever spent time in SEA have experienced something like this. Part of the learning process.

Typical telltales of a tinder hooker:

- Approaches you first
- Has bad English, but more importantly types all lower case with a lot of chat abbreviations and misplaced spaces (e.g. "how u day")
- Has a large tatoo or a line of small tattoos
- Overly eager to meet, or willing to meet right at your place and not in a public place without any hesitation on her part
- Appears disappointed if you don't want to meet, and tries to convince you to meet her after all
- Says stuff like "let's get some 'hard drinks'"
- If meeting outside, nudges you to buy her small stuff (snacks etc) or seems very comfortable with picking up small stuff, picking the more expensive drinks etc. and expecting you to pay
- Knows the Gramercy (if in Manila)
- Is quite opinionated about men from different nationalities
- Has more than one phone on her
- The obvious: has an overly sexual profile (too sexy pics, nickname, "I like to have fun" in the profile blurb)
- Stops writing immediately if you say something like "I'm not paying" or "I haven't money", as opposed to a normal girl who would normally retort angrily that she's not a hooker.

Mind you that some of these traits are also typical characterists of ladyboys (sexuality in the profile, approaches first or overly eager to meet).

What is the best way to meet up with fellow guys gaming in the Philippines. I'll be there from mid-June onwards til early July, and am flexible to visiting various cities. I've already made a post in the meet up section. Any other suggestions?

RE: The Philippines thread
I served on Nuke Boats with a very sharp guy from the Phils and have always had an interest there to the point of considering retiring there with my eventual Veterans and Social Security Pensions... (Right now it is between Phils and former FSU Georgia, had a friend retire to Tiblisi and he loves it... )

That said just read this article on the New Philippine President former Mayor of Davao - very tough guy talking tough issues in a very tough way - will be interesting how it impacts the quality of life for ex pats...

Philippine president-elect urges public to kill drug dealers
https://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/phili...52328.html

MANILA, Philippines (AP) -- The Philippine president-elect has encouraged the public to help him in his war against crime, urging citizens with guns to shoot and kill drug dealers who resist arrest and fight back in their neighborhoods.

In a nationally televised speech late Saturday, Rodrigo Duterte told a huge crowd in the southern city of Davao that Filipinos who help him battle crime will be rewarded.

"Please feel free to call us, the police, or do it yourself if you have the gun — you have my support," Duterte said, warning of an extensive illegal drug trade that involves even the country's police.

If a drug dealer resists arrest or refuses to be brought to a police station and threatens a citizen with a gun or a knife, "you can kill him," Duterte said. "Shoot him and I'll give you a medal."

The former government prosecutor said crimes were committed by law enforcers because of "extreme greed and extreme need." He said that he would provide a small amount to an officer who was tempted because his wife has cancer or a mother died, but that those who would break the law because of extreme greed "will also be dealt with by me. I'll have you killed."

Duterte, who starts his six-year presidential term on June 30, repeated a plan to offer huge bounties to those who can turn in drug lords, dead or alive.

While it remains to be seen what will happen to his threats when he takes office, some policemen have heeded his call for a tougher anti-crime approach.

###

Of course my first reaction and thought to this is WTF are the Phils worse than Mexico when it comes to Drug Crimes and Drug Thug Gangs running amok?

For the RVF guys currently in the Phils where are you and what is your perspective there regarding crime and quality of life there?

I'll have boots on the ground in a few days. Thanks to all who contributed to this thread. I think everything (regarding game) is already covered. I plan on doing some other sightseeing so perhaps I'll be able to add information in another way.

If you plan on retiring in the Philippines in like 10 or more years, don't. The value of a white face here is fading with every passing day (regardless of what anyone else may say) and living expenses are skyrocketing. Where I live, 1200 sqft of land will set you back $150,000. This is in Nuvali. I really want to know how everyone is magically affording to buy a house here

Umm, you don't buy from a greedy developer or from OLX. You establish trusted connections on the ground and find deals that way. It takes time and not something that magically happens. I know a Filipino guy that just bought a 1,800 sqft house on a 6,500 sqft lot 15 minutes from downtown Davao for $65,000. That same house on OLX would be listed for $200,000. From a housing developer, the same $65,000 would get you a 900 sqft house on a 1,000 sqft lot 30 minutes from downtown. Half the house, worse location, 1/6 the lot. You are paying extra for convenience.

Obviously if you are a white guy rolling in with a full bank account acting like a big baller of course people are going to gouge you or scam you.

$150,000? USD?

Who has that kind of money, especially since foreigners can only own 40%?

The philippines is catching onto chinese development, a lot of SEA countries are developing quite quickly because your seeing lots of investment coming from east asian countries(PRC china, Japan, and S Korea). It's hard not to notice all the nice chinese, korean, japanese restaurants with expat asians inside. I went to a decent japanese place and was promtly greeted in japanese by the pinay waitresses.

Maybe the philippines might not be so poor in the future?

as for 150k USD, that's chump change for urban chinese people in major cities(GZ, SH, BJ, SZ). in Beijing and Shanghai your looking at almost NYC prices for real estate, and buying a vacation home for 150k isn't so much.

Interesting observations. Whenever a girl says she "likes to have fun" I thought she meant "I'm too lazy to type it out so I'll just fill in this generalization". I would say that random piercings are another flag, haven't met a regular girl with a nose or belly ring.

If she mentions any stuff/items that she cannot afford it's another tell-tale sign. Kinda like "how do you drive a toyota on a gubbmint job salary".

The biggest sign is when she starts mentioning trendy shit, especially restaurants or clubs.

Within Makati and other tourist spots around the Philippines yes, definitely.

I wouldn't be surprised if in another 10 years that parts of the Philippines resembles Thailand with mostly white europeans/anglosphere tourists congregating on small islands to party with each other.

Of course that depends on whether or not the Philippines can handle that type of influx and keep the more degenerate members of their society from preying on lame backpackers and sex dilberts.

Most notably keeping Abu sayyef from taking more skulls for their skull throne.

Outside of the tourist destinations and Makati though things remain largely unchanged. I don't see a spike when I stay outside those areas. It's still fairly rare to see a white or black face in Alabang or Quezon City in particular. If you do see them it's usually the same dude with a filipino family who has lived around there for awhile.

Regarding 150k for 1200 sqft of land:

I've been living in the Philippines since Sep 2015. Renting. Changed houses a few times whenever I wanted to try another city. From what I've gathered speaking with the agents, literally 90% of the guys renting/buying the homes are Korean, Japanese, Chinese. So yeah, east Asians are probably driving prices up.

But even many of the locals appear to have money. I mean, the Starbucks near my house is jammed night and day with Filipinos. The Starbucks in my home town in the US is like a ghost town in comparison. Young guys in brand new cars, "feeling pogi", a common sight. No idea where all the money's coming from, but one thing's for sure: I would not count on retiring here in the future if seeking a low cost of living.

LOL typcial foreigner trap. there is a lot of lady boy scams too. always meet at a cafe first. she might be a ladyboy becos i notice a lot of foreigners cant tell a regular girl from a ladyboy lol.

Another thing: bad teeth is a huge turnoff for me. She can be cute as a button but if she's got teeth going every direction its a bonerkiller. Most women here either have fucked up teeth or they have braces even in their late 20s and 30s. Better late than never i guess.

I've counted on one hand dudes that actually look like they lift around here. Even the foreigners. So keep hitting it hard and dress well to stand out even more.

i think i picked up the girl in aqua dress & orange shirt at market market. were they at a booth selling vitamin C? she was the prettiest girl i seen working at market market.

1) First notch was from a girl I was talking online with; went to her place, ZERO LMR (easiest notch of my life), right in front of her screaming meatsack. Quite hard to ignore the crying baby 2 metres beside you fucking his mom, but a player gotta play.

2) Second notch was a massage girl who asked me 1000 pesos to fuck her, and since it was my last day there, I gave it a shot. Pretty average notch, but I was drunk so be it.

Other remarks:

- Taxis are scammers; I saw the taxi's meter at a red light go 80, 85, 90, 95, 700, 705. I opened the door and walked out without a word.
- Every fucking girl has a kid. There are almost no childness girls. Probably due to the lack of sexual education. Sadly, all children born outside marriage and where the father "just found a new girl".
- No virgins (at least, not that I know), so probably no chance of finding a filipino wife.
- Everyone speaks English. While it's easy to get along because of that, it's a perfect example of a country that lost its culture to Westernization.

Oddly enough, the traffic laws are actually enforced. We cannot drive Thai-style there.

i fclosed a virgin in manila and currently talking to 3 other virgins. there are, you just have to look for them. also there is alot of single mums because abortion is illegal not necessarily because of poor education. just shitty government.

This was used a lot when I was young and really into the underground scene. I would invite girls to come back to listen to Fugazi records.
This is the first time in recorded history that Fugazi was used to remove panties.
