What do you travel for? Japan is famous for it's sightseeing. The temples are gorgeous, the attractions are interesting and the regular wacky shit is always amusing.

When I travel I like to try to live life like a local, which includes but isn't limited to picking up girls. It all boils down to whichever you really prefer, you can't exactly go wrong. Not to mention, if you are actually planning on doing the sightseeing you can do indirect game from asking the cute girls around you to help. It's fairly common in the Kansai area for people to actually go out of their way to take you to where you are trying to go. Giving you lots of time to spit whatever game you were planning to try.

Here is the funny part, she speaks no English at all, and ofcourse my Japanese is shit as well, but again she stayed there for around 20 minutes, sign language, we are both laughing at how dumb this is, I bought the book told her to get coffee at starbucks she agreed and we went there and sat for 2 hours infront of google translate. This didn't result in anything because attraction building was slim to none with no communication what so ever, but you do get the point

Yeah I have a week to travel before going back to Singapore in late August. I have only been to Kansai for work on day trips so hardly much time to look around. Japanese men are telling me that Kyushu girls are insanely cute and friendly but I'm taking their advice with a pinch of salt. Besides street and other venues, this is basically all I did for 2 years. Approach at bookstore, go to Starbucks, then either go for it or trade numbers.

The thing about bookstore game in Japan is you will have to become good at deflecting her attempts to bring the staff into the equation. This goes for approaching at supermarkets and malls. Sometimes she will call the staff over and then walk away. If you hit up the same store then you need these tactics otherwise the staff will try to cockblock you. Happened to me.

The second she says　"店員さんに聞いて。。。” just cut her off with something like. "さき聞いたんだけど。。。" "誰に聞いても分からなかった。”

2nd thing to look out for is the secret boyfriend / mom, that is lurking in another section. I've had boyfriends/ moms come up to me while I was asking about that "book" just standing there looking at us. Haha.

3rd thing are girls that are "too helpful." Meaning girls that spend 10mins trying to help you but won't talk about any other subject. Any attempts to derail the conversation will result in a polite nod, and then back to helping you with that "book." These girls are wasting your time,　(generally speaking) if they don't veer off the subject with you after about 5 mins.

4th and lesser thing to worry about is the lone hott girl surrounded by salarymen who just happen to be looking at books that are right in front of her. It's funny because as soon as she leaves, they leave.

Bookstores girls have the lowest bitch shields out of all the venues. Easiest place to approach.

I think its nice that there are even girls in bookstores to approach in Japan. In Australia, not only are the bookstores full of 'lowest common denominator' crap, they're few and far between and most girls don't read. I managed to prep one girl, and then get my braces notch taken care of this weekend. Not as good as Zerdame but I enjoyed myself.

She had already decided to come to my even the next day after work, I could be patient.

The next day I host a picnic in a park and have about 9 people who are supposed to come. The number ended up being closer to 14 because who doesn't like getting drunk in a park? I also ended up having a girl from Skout tag along since she much later than we had agreed on and I didn't mind the extra help. This was one of those rare occasions when the girl actually looks better than her profile pictures. This also worked out perfectly as this chick had to leave about thirty minutes earlier than braces would be arriving. There is something that needs to be repeatedly stated when dealing with younger J-girls. With an 18-22 year-old Japanese chick there are no guarantees of anything. They are flaky as fuck. If I'm reading this correctly, that might be part of why you are struggling with the younger Japanese chicks. There is a huge difference between the 24-30 and 18-22 age range in Japan.

This sounds extreme to most non-Japanese, but 24+ girls are simply not as in demand. Japanese men pedestalize youth more than in other countries. Girls who are 16-21 are the ones getting the most attention. That changes everything about how you interact with younger girls. Your strict policy of going dutch isn't going to work very well on young 8-9s. Partly because of their SMV but also the seniority culture (isn't it similar in Singapore?).

Apologies if my last post was misleading. I'm not saying to split the bill with an 18 year-old girl. That would be ridiculous and counter-productive. As a (presumably) older guy, you are going to lose serious face by even suggesting that she pay half. That's what we would call "KY".

Anyway, enough rambling from me. In my humble opinion, Disney isn't an optimal date idea with any girl, let alone a high SMV one.
