I was meeting with a couple of friends at a random bar not far from home earlier this week.

The first one was a little "ummm, ummm, ummm" - talking at a phone takes some getting used to. I almost went back to redo it, but I want to develop a spontaneous style of speaking to the camera, and I think micro-managing in the beginning will do more harm than good.

Anyhow, I think by the "Rats and Roaches" video I was really getting more into my natural flow.

When I did some work on Elance I was doing video bids and it was weird as hell sitting there talking to the webcam.

It seems like it would be easy, but it's really unnatural. I think I did 20 takes to get the first 2-3 videos done.

A lot of videos ended with "cocksuckin motherfucker" before having to do a reshoot because I lost my train of through lol.

I'll tell you BB, to keep an audience, the key is always (believe it or not) sound quality. People are used to trying to see with an impeded view - get optics as good as you can of course, but getting clear, non-static filled sound (or re-recording/dubbing your voice if necessary) will be crucial towards building an audience that will continue to consume. Nt sure what you can do for a decent mike if you're using a phone as your video device, but perhaps you can find something. I assume you've made yourself familiar with Adobe or some other editing program?

Edit: Watching the apartment walkthrough - audio is pretty good. Will be more of a challenge with PP street noise at night. And dude, you're huge now (lots of gym time when you're off the sauce).

One more note, try to have more fun - you're a friendly, outgoing guy with a smile for everyone usually (or only with beer??). Try to convey that in the video - the one moment where you said "How ya doing'" to the guy going by near the back of the market (where the trash heap was) - that vibe can go a long way. Also see if you can get used to pointing the camera away from yourself and narrating - let us see what you're seeing more. A rig connected to a helmet or something, or a go-pro on a moped could both be good elements for episodes of the series. Hit me up on skype if you wanna go through some ideas - don't take any of it down, the progression itself is interesting and the information useful. Just use it to build on and great work.

Sound quality is good but agreed with Global, get a good mic (Audiotecnika or something similar) and do more street day to day scenes from PP.

One way to go is to do what the Elevator Life guys have been doing very successfully on their blog and talk about what it's like to move, live,get an apart, find a job, do business and settle there. I'm sure seeing how long you've been now in Cambodia that you can provide a ton of valuable tips on this country. Going over a typical monthly costs to give a concrete idea of what would it take to bootstrap from there. If you do this right, you could become within a year THE expert on Cambodia!

Also, what is your goal with this video/blog? Do you want to keep it clean and professional and target the mainstream guys? Or do want to focus on red pills and night life with a focus on biz?

As I've been telling you before, a site that combines both biz but for a red pill crowd is what's really lacking out there as there are a bunch of mainstream betaized business sites for the location independent guys. I'd go on the first type to stand out and make a name and build an audience.
