I spent a few days in Manizales, Pereira and Salento. Didn't go out in Manizales as it was Mon/Tue, definitely went out in Pereira, there was some kind of cowboy festival on, and there was an endless stream of hotties riding by on horseback then a great night out, where I pulled myself a SNL.

Both are college towns too, it is definitely the case that the girls there are on a similar level to Medellin but nowhere near as many tourists go there.

The mountains in the area are fantastic as well if you're into the outdoors. This area would be my first stop when I next go to Colombia.
