Hmm... sounds like something I want to try.

To me seems like a placebo more than anything.... but I have NOT tried it...

I mean, if there are alcohol versions of Revo and non-alcohol versions of it, and it adds in sugars and caffeine to a mixture of supposed vitamins... hahahahahaha... vitamin drinks, that's another story... ....

Any of the things such as sugar water or a caffeinated beverage or even alcohol in small portions can give a boost to a guy's sexual feelings and relieving the guy of sexual inhibitions by giving a sense of euphoria; however, too much of any of them could cause the opposite effect, so if a guy is drinking alcohol , and then he decides to take a Revo to boost his sexual feelings or his sexual performance, I wonder whether that would help when combined with other alcohol?

Is drinking Revo different from drinking a redbull and vodka? which can be good in small doses of one or two, but could have the opposite effect if imbibing more than a couple of drinks, no?

Maybe this is a NON issue for me, since I have NOT seen Revo - and I don't have any ticket for any european destination.. at least NOT currently.

I'm just a little jaded when it comes to any beverage that has added caffeine and added sugars making any claims to actual performance enhancement, when probably the negative affects outweigh any potential short-term benefit(s).

Oh by the way, the gun on the can reminds me of some of GManifesto's apparent phony baloney recommendations. Laugh Maybe they stole GMan's trade mark?

RE: Older Guys (40+)
Just found out about this guy named Wim Hof from an interview he did with Tim Ferriss. I've started taking cold showers because of him. Basically he's an old guy who's broken all sorts of Guiness world records, gone hiking Mount Everest in his shorts, ran a marathon in the desert drinking no water, etc. All under scientific and medical observation and he attributes much of it to meditation and cold exposure such as cold showers. Here's a link to the Vice episode on him but google The Wim Hof Method as it's pretty cool stuff. I feel more energized in the mornings and more mental energy throughout the day.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VaMjhwFE1Zw

On a somewhat related note, not sure if I mentioned it here already but for older guys, check out Cryotherapy. Costs about $30 to $60 a pop. The LA Lakers, Mayweather, and Tony Robbins to name a few do it often. It's where you go inside a freezer basically, and chill out for a minute or two. Supposed to speed up recovery times, be good for arthritis, etc. Seems to jive with Wim Hof's method. I hurt my back about a month ago doing deadlifts and had a work trip to Hawaii in a few days. I didn't want to go to paradise with a fucked up back so tried it out and have to say that IMMEDIATELY AFTER getting out of the freezer, I didn't feel any pain whatsoever. It sorta creeped back after an hour but I felt perfectly fine a day or two afterwards.

As for masturbation, you guys should also Youtube New Tantra. This guy who seems fruity is actually very knowledgeable about sex and one option is to masturbate UNTIL YOU ARE ABOUT TO NUT, then breathe in that energy up your spine so one can get a full body orgasm without actually ejaculating. Similar to kudalini yoga. I was only able to do this for a few weeks last year as me and my ex-gf were trying tantra where the guy doesn't orgasm and I kid you not, for the first time in my life, I felt girls checking me out despite me being in late 30s. It's like my sexual energy was just radiating.

Just an idea to be able to balance the feeling of needing to release your sexual energy.

Just saw it in the tabloid press:

[Image: 469c758c4c30e8f302626479b7c9dbf242ad4b9c]

Marek Konradt (65)- he is a moderately known Polish actor is about to marry his sweetheart who is 25.

This is her dad by the way:

[Image: f59274c49df51c020ac2f4edd2e75a5e20ec954f_365x255]

The media is having a bit of a go at it, because a 40 year age difference is no pittance. But the thing is that they know it's not because of money or pure fame. She comes from a well-off family and knew the actor since she was a kid personally.

Of course fame helped along, but my estimate is that a decently Alpha 55 year old can get a cute Polish 20-something 6 to commit to him while she finds him sexually attractive. He is 65 and 10 years is the fame bonus he gets, since the guy actually looks 65.

It's great to be a man indeed - also the two are not made social outcasts in Poland. Older women are of course mad at him for picking "a child".

My morning routine involves cold water. I stand in the tub and dump a bucket over my head, soap and lather up, then rinse by dumping a second bucket. Canadian winters are cold, and my water pipes run beside my unheated garage, so the cold water is very cold. As soon as I can open my pool (mid-April) I take a morning dip instead, and go right through til late October (50F is about my cut-off temp).

I got the idea from here: http://www.systemanorway.com/default.asp?iId=GFHFGE

You know those winter mornings where you wake up feeling cold and shivery? I feel much warmer after the cold water than if I had taken a hot shower. I don't get colds in the winter anymore, and I really do enjoy the sensation that he describes of anticipating the challenge of dumping ice water over your head.

It is ironic that she does not even look 25 she looks 15 lol. Go for it brother.

When you near sixty, you realize--quite viscerally-- that life itself doesn't last.

-and it follows, of course, that all relationships are temporary; which really makes me eager to get into it deep with something as close to twenty as possible.

About the above older men, I think Europeans with their more tragic history than America understand life is not like a Hollywood movie-- true love and wealth found at an early age with same-age marriage lasting into an indefinite future.

If you have twenty years of happiness with someone, that is a wonderful gift from life.

How successful have you been with this? I was doing a little work on this about a year ago reading about a guy named Jim Benson using his program called Multi Orgasmic Lover" And it seems to follow what you are talking about. I had started the unusual exercises and got interrupted by a major life event and then lost my willing accomplice a nice little 31YO latina I am 53. So I kind of dropped out. But I must say that the couple of weeks of exercises I did I was getting some results but never got to the high level of multi orgasmic or completely controlling orgasms and ejaculation. How far did you get and how much practice and exercise did you do? How old are you? And how long did it take you to see real results?

Hey Ed,

Read the article very informative thanks. How consistent are you with this method? How long have you been doing it? I live in Florida so we do not get really cold water. I would have to do a bucket with ice water.

A few years ago I went to an acupuncturist an authentic very experienced Chinese doctor I know she was very good there was documentation backing up her 50 years of practice. And she was able to help me with a few health conditions that regular western doctors could never do. Our therapy lasted for a few months.

One of the things she said was that always use heat on a problem area not cold. She was very insistent on this. And when I look at the cold water dousing it seems to go in the opposite way. I am trying to understand how these two methods can be correct at the same time? Maybe heat for a specific injury to heal it, and cold as an overall daily health routine? I don't know. Do you have any thoughts on this?

Did she define what she meant by problem area? Conventional wisdom is to - broadly speaking - use cold for sprains, bruises and the like, while you use localized heat to draw white blood cells to infected areas.

Well English was her 2nd language. But she would always recommend heat and not cold to an injured area. She was aware she was going against normal western medicine and was very insistent. Our conversations were not very detailed due to the language difference.

Checking in for the over 40+ crowd. Recently went through a hellish divorce and have grown in a variety of ways as a person since filing for divorce. Been lurking on this thread for awhile but looking forward to learning from other members and sharing whatever wisdom I can. Here's to the next chapter!

Yes no doubt about it. The older you get the more meticulous you must become about the small things. Little things like ear hair or crazy eyebrows can really add to your age. I stay on a regimen and try to keep my appearance always the same. Keep your haircuts on schedule. Don't let your neck hair get long--keep it touched up. Don't be a slob like most 40+ and you are already in a different league.

This stuff has helped me. West Coast HGH creme. It's like a moisturizing cream that presumably helps your body secrete more of its own hgh. I've noticed things like a smoother face, a little better hair and a bit more energy after about a week.

It'll be interesting to see what it's like after a few months. I probably wouldn't consider it unless I was at least 35 or older. Many chiropractors sell it, you just have to search around. I'm sure different people would get different results.

What do you mean by better hair? and how do you know increased energy is coming from the cream? Wouldn't you have to try it for longer than a week to be able to feel more confident that whatever you are feeling is coming from the cream?

Also, what is your plan for longer term? how would you know whether the cream is causing any adverse affects on your body's own testosterone production?

^By better hair, I mean it seems less limp with a little more body. To be fair, I've been using a new shampoo on and off also which could be the hair thing.

As far as the increased energy, the answer is I know my body. I've always been quick to respond to vitamin supplements and am kind of sensitive to such things. If my body is going to respond to something like a supplement or vitamins, it always happens quickly. Another thing I'll add, is within just a few days, I was having more vivid dreams most nights. I think this was from the cream also.

I would guess most people probably wouldn't see results this quick , or maybe for a long time, as like I said, I'm more sensitive to these things than most people.

With an hgh 'secretogue' such as this cream, what you're doing is helping your own body create more hgh itself. You're restoring it to higher ( more youthful ) levels. I don't see how this could hurt T levels. I'm not taking hgh shots or using foreign hgh, the cream stimulates my body to produce more of it's own. At least that's what the claim is and those are my experiences.

It's absolutely possible that it may be much less effective or not even work for other people.

I know that there are quite a few guys in this forum that are quite enthusiastic about various kinds of testosterone supplements, and surely, it is NOT bad to point out various options and guys can comment regarding their personal experiences with such products, like you did.

Personally, I believe that one week is NOT enough time to feel comfortable with any conclusion that the cream caused the positive effects, or even if it did cause positive effects in the short term that it would necessarily be a good long-term thing to take. We may want to also consider other factors, such as our diet, sleep and activity levels.

Creams are NOT necessarily less effective or moderate than injections or pills, because ultimately, if there are active ingredients in the cream product, those active ingredients have the potential to be absorbed considerably through such a skin application.

Personally, I do maintain an interest in reading, from time to time, about the personal results of guys, because I have had periods of time in which I have considered these kinds of testosterone products.

Regarding sexual performance (and ease of stimulation), in the past almost year, I have been feeling pretty satisfied with my personal performance; however, with anything while aging, there can be needs to reassess from time to time - and even some guys (when becoming more elderly - as we all are, if you happen to be a real human), from time to time, will have unexpected negative health events - or even suffering an injury or accident, could lead to a need to reassess recovery stats... etc.

NO matter what, I am in personal agreement with you, that it is a good thing to attempt to stay attuned to our own individual reaction to a product, and maybe even trying it for a little while and then cutting it out and trying it again can also be a good personal test (while keeping in mind other changes that may be going on in our personal daily or weekly habits).

RE: Older Guys (40+)
By the way, recently, I was reading something on a dietary forum from one of the "aging experts" (I think it was either a paleo forum or a low carb high fat forum - I cannot recall exactly at the moment), and he mentioned something that resonated with me from my own experiences, and also, I believe that I have also said some things like that before.

In essence, the theory is that us guys can generally abuse ourselves quite a bit when we are in our earlier ages because the human body is fairly resilient, and it will NOT likely cause any negative effects on our longevity until we get older (such as in our 40s or 50s or maybe later for some guys), so long as we do NOT cause irreversible damages (so for example, in our youth we may be able to get away with drinking a lot, smoking, eating badly and failing to get adequate sleep for extended periods). At some point, the damage becomes too much for our bodies to repair itself and also as we get older, our tolerance to such abuse becomes lower and lower.

In that regard, it seems more important for guys over 40 to really start to pay attention to possible lifestyle choices that may cause negative effects and to emphasize or even to add some behaviors that enhance or are health promoting.

Sometimes we need to be very sensitive to our own bodily responses to really get some sense of whether something may be good or NOT in the longer term.

Without some experimenting and maybe even research, we cannot always know for sure what are the goods and the bads for ourselves.

Yet, personally, I do believe in some researching so that I do NOT necessarily need to experiment in certain regards on myself with some lifestyle choices or products that may be negative and irreversible...

Word. I've had to have three teeth pulled in last two years because of all the time I spent doing martial arts ten years ago. What really pissed me off was these teeth already had root canals done on them, dammit. All that money for ten extra years. Eff me. I was stupid and didn't wear a mouth guard in those days. Lesson learned too late.

Another thing that has helped me a lot recently, has been doing stretches before my workouts.

Leg stretches, hip stretches and shoulder stretches are a must. I use to laugh at this sort of thing when I was younger, now it is a must..

The pain is worth it.

Root canals should be banned completely - many alternative dentists are removing them since there is plenty of data out there that they are terrible and have long-term massive side effects.

It's better to either remove the teeth completely or replace them with artificial ones - when done well and using good materials, then that is by far superior to any root canal.

RE: Older Guys (40+)
Another 40+ dude checking in.

For me life has just got better. On the downside it kind of sucks it took me nearly 40 years to find myself.

I think the key to a long and happy life is constant reinvention. Mix it up. Have a mid-life crisis every 5 years. Change careers. Change relationships. Change hemispheres.

Also you MUST become less judgemental. Aim to give no shits about immigration, politics and other stuff that makes zero difference to your own life.

But the thing about the second half of your life paying for the mistakes of your first half is absolutely true. If you drink or do drugs heavily in your 20's and 30's, you will be found out in your 40's.

yes, no question. But be sure to take this on smartly, there are many issues that you need to be up to speed at, else its like any other drug that you might take with no idea how its going to fuck up your body.

If you are considering TRT then step 1 is to get blood work done to see what your numbers are right now. You can do this cheaply away from your insurance via privatemdlabs.com for $47 just to get your T numbers alone. And here is a %15 off coupon code: PKCR45.

You pay via their website using the discount code after selecting the tests you want. They send you a pdf of a lab slip that you print off your computer and take to a LabCorp lab for blood draw, get the draw, go home. 24-48 hrs later you get the lab results by email in pdf. I've used it a few times, couldn't be easier and you are dealing with a real lab just like you would if your doc told you to get some blood work done.

Just "Total T" is the bare minimum, if you are serious about going down this path then E2, LH, and other markers are good to get tested for an monitor as well.

@NCS I checked out the site and they have a whole ton of tests. One of the things I am learning is that you can have plenty of T and still not be able to utilize it. Primarily you need to ensure you do not have high cortisol levels and excessive inflammation in your body mainly in your gut.

Are you familiar with this and have you checked these issues also? I am still learning but it makes a lot of sense.
