Like with all previous mass attacks, we got a serious case of BETA-ness here.

Just read that the two guys' uncle said they "were losers hating on everybody".

Quote:But Ruslan Tsarni, an uncle of the suspects who lives in Maryland, said he was "ashamed" at his nephews' alleged role in the bombings.

Asked what the bombers' motives may have been, he replied: "Being losers, hating everyone around them."

ANy thoughts about this BETA behaviour that turns AFC's into criminals?

Really pissed Tuth's Mila Kunis pic didn't show up when "replied" to his message. I know I'm borderline retarded, but how did that happen?

Anyway, that's frightening. The idea that that can even happen weighs heavily on my cold, dark soul.

Is that a real photo? Holy God. Can that really happen? One of the hottest chicks ever really looks like she took second place in a hatchet catching contest without make-up...

The words "shock" and "disbelief" cannot begin to express my emotional state when I see that photo.

It takes a long time and a lot of struggle to make in Hollywood these days, the old days where studio bosses picked out super hot 18-19 year olds are over. (Linda Darnell)

There are tons of stunning-without-makeup chicks all over American and Europe,it's just that they're only 18-20.

If a pic is uploaded as an attachment it doesn't repost when you quote it for some reason.

Yes, it is annoying.

Evening....god forbid there is a crazy 19 year old with a crazier older brother in every city

It was not necessary. It was convenient. It was a good strategy given the objective, available resources, risk, and willingness of the public to cooperate. Was it the most efficient? No. Was it perfect? Obviously not. But they got him in the end. Alive.

If it was 10 guys all across the country the strategy would have been different. It wasn't, so they did it this way.

Many may disagree but this was a much bigger reaction than they would have gotten in the 90s. I can't imagine how we would
handle 9/11 in 2013.

Yes, certainly it was an over reaction, but even worse is the community's reaction to catching him, like we just landed on Mars or something.

The guy would have been caught in 2 hours if they took some dirty underwear out of their apartment on norfolk street, gave the dogs a sniff, and sent the dogs out on them.

The police previously checked that guys house, everything but the boat.

Not true actually. They checked the house and the boat during the door to door search. A few hours later they received a call that the owner of the house found a blood trail near the boat. That's when a helicopter was called for thermal imaging and they confirmed there was someone inside the boat. That's when they were called back.

Quote:After more than 200 rounds were traded over several minutes, some officers were out of ammunition and charged the brothers’ position with their police car. The vehicle was disabled by gunfire from the Mercedes. Kitzenberg said he saw one of the shooters toss a metallic object — possibly a pressure-cooker bomb similar to the ones used in the marathon attack — in the direction of the police line. It rolled a few yards before detonating harmlessly.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev, now out of his car, attempted to lob a makeshift bomb at police, but the device exploded in his hand. While Tamerlan Tsarnaev was firing a pistol with the other hand, police tackled and tried to subdue the 200-pound amateur boxer.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, apparently intending to help his brother, tried to ram the officers with the Mercedes. Instead, the officers lunged out of the vehicle’s path and he ran over his brother and dragged him along the street before speeding off with police in pursuit.

Officers found the Mercedes abandoned and quickly sealed off neighborhoods in Watertown as they began a street-by-street search for the suspect. But police acknowledged later that there were not enough officers to establish a solid perimeter and that the suspect, who may have been wounded, had escaped.

Incredible incompetency by Boston police. Dude's hand explodes and they still can't take him down! The little brother did what the police couldn't do, and he managed to escape.

With just ten minutes of more planning, I have no doubt the brothers could have gotten out of Boston.

Czech ambassor had to release a press note to clarify that Czech Republic is not and has nothing to do with Chechenia... I heard that some USA politicians mistaken Slovakia with Slovenia but this is ridiculous.

Quote:The Czech Republic and Chechnya are nearly 2,000 miles apart, but that didn’t stop people from mixing up their geography.

The Boston Marathon bombing suspects, the Tsarnaev brothers, are of Chechen ethnicity. When the similar sounding Czech Republic, a country in Central Europe, began getting buzz online, the country’s ambassador to the United States stepped in to clear up the social media confusion.

“As more information on the origin of the alleged perpetrators is coming to light, I am concerned to note in the social media a most unfortunate misunderstanding in this respect,” Ambassador Petr Gandalovič wrote in a statement.

“The Czech Republic and Chechnya are two very different entities – the Czech Republic is a Central European country; Chechnya is a part of the Russian Federation,” he said.

The Czech Republic is trending because idiots are confusing it with Chechnya. If you’re not sure whether to laugh or cry, cry.

Chechens are an ethnic group hailing from the southern edge of the Russian border, known as the North Caucasus region, whose history has been marked by its violent struggles for independence. Chechnya, a republic, is bordered by Georgia.

I wouldn't call it incompetency. When there's a big guy whose worked himself up into some frenzy (perhaps with the aid of drugs) and one cop whose trying to tackle him while he still has a gun in his hand, I wouldn't expect the cop to be able to take him down.

Its not like the rest of the cops could help - they aren't going to take shots while one of their own is wrestling the older brother, and they aren't going to be running to get closer since the younger brother is still shooting at them. The cops did the right thing in that situation.

I do agree that the brothers may have been able to get out of Boston. However, that may not have ever been their intent. Perhaps they thought they could get away with it. That college kid they interviewed said the younger brother came back to campus and had a normal conversation with him and all.

The question is: was this all planned out? What's with the government agent pictures?

Why would these men do this?

It sounds fishy.

Anyone?

You are surprised that the govt. has plainclothes/undercover agents at a major event in a big city?

Could this actually have been set up. I think Conspiracy theories may be justified in this bizarre bombing case.

I think there is a big misunderstanding with mistaking private security for government agents.

“Tamerlan was counseled by FBI for three, five years,” she said. “They knew what my son was doing. They knew what actions and what sites on the Internet he was going. How could this happen? How could they — they were following every step of him and they’re telling today this is a terrorist act.”

The older brother was supposedly a real good boxer.

“I don’t have a single American friend,” Tamerlan said in a photo essay about his love of boxing. “I don’t understand them.”

Apparently the younger brother went out and partied after the attack. Doesn't sound like someone who was worried about getting caught. I agree that they thought they'd just get away with it.

I think internet nerds just like saying "false flag" because a lot of people don't know what that phrase means, and that makes the nerds feel special. Typical nerd behavior if you ask me.
