The new boost feature is legit. Seems to reset the tendency Tinder has to bury your profile the older it gets. I'm going to be in DC tonight, so I changed my location, boosted, and bam 10+ quality matches in past 15 minutes.

Just need to use it at the right time. I used it at 6 o'clock a Thursday morning, got 0 matches. Used it on a Friday evening right before going out, got 10 matches that I didn't have time to interact with.

Had a first date last night, I think it went well. Escalation, comfort building, holding hands, a short makeout session and the date ended with a peck. Duration of the date was 4 hours. Told her to text me when she got home and she did. I followed with a "good night" and didn't get one in return. I feel the ball is in her court since I texted last. How do you guys deal with chicks who want you to be a late night booty call? Good problem to have, I know.

Historically I try to get girls on a date and then bang, it puts the logistics and planning on my court.

Online Dating is only useful under very tiny circumstances:

I made the mistake of going back on and buying the $100 Tinder Plus account. Total mistake. Im getting no matches. I have a good profile and good pics. Im getting no matches. 3 years ago I had 2000 matches. Now I barely get anything. Plus now every woman has Tinder, so its full of so much crap.

Everything is location dependent. Surprisingly in the bay area I matched a with a decent amount of cute ethnic girls along with a smattering of white girls. But in most cases in the US, yes Tinder is not-good unless you're in the top 10% of guys looks wise.

In Asia still works wonders, enough that you could build your entire harem off Tinder, although quality of girls might be suspect.

Seriously, the only online thing that is even reasonable at this point in the USA or western equivalent is SA (or something close, I don't know them all), and that takes its own time and has its own challenges. Even though you may have to deal with semis, you get and actually chat with 7s or higher commonly, and they interact.

Tinder and Bumble were literally 4s and 5s who'd barely respond. And you have to wait for matches. Those apps were done about a year ago, to be certain.

The only way online is even worth considering is when you are the wanted commodity to at least some degree, not them. Eventually, the floodgates open and losers clog every decent girls mailbox or match list. It's painstakingly obvious at this point.

So far I've had two women match me and message right away, when I went for the number they hit me with some code to show that their profile had been verified. Of course I follow the link until I get to a page that asks for my credit card info. I told both of them that it felt like some sort of scam and they unmatched me immediately.

I thought Tinder was done, then I went to Asia on holiday and got 200 matches in 5 days. Met one girl on it on the first night who looked like Asa Akira, then banged her the next two nights.

When used in Europe and the US recently I found it to be mostly utter shit. This with the same profile I got 200 matches on. The photos and the profile are good. The main reason mostly has to do with the sheer supply of cock in the US and UK and the pure thirst that exists that dilutes the pool for everyone aside from cunting celebrities.

I met a female friend recently from university who is a 6 at best and she told me she has well over 1,000 matches. One can only hope they all used the mechanical device above. The truth is that a girl who is a 6 - with shit pics, heck even with no pics - will typically get far better results online than a guy who is a 9 with a stellar profile.

In the past 5 weeks — since this current incarnation of Tinder — I've netted the following stats:
85 matches, maybe 60 of whom ended up responding
30 number closes
4 dates
1 bang
2 more makeouts out of those

Does such a match-to-bang rate seem to be pretty on par for you guys?

It's quite a gigantic effort just to secure one bang, especially when you consider that
1) some of the ones whom I did number close but fizzled out later on were really promising (more on that later).
and 2) At the same time, I met up with another 6 from OKC, Bumble, and Happn, all of which got to nowhere save for 2 makeouts and another 3 who may possibly require a longer game.

....I really need to make IRL game more of a priority this December :/
