Yeah it's quite obvious. If there is 10000 guys and 10000 girls using tinder in London they need to organized in some way so that everyone gets a chance to get a match. If all guys would start by seeing the most attractive girl then have it falling downwards getting the most ugly girl after 9999 swipes then most guys would have to swipe forever to start getting matches. Same goes the other way around obviously. If one does not get any matches, he or she will not use the app anymore and if s/he isn't using the app there is absolutely no way to sell any premium memberships or boozt packages. I don't understand what you LondonEuropean is getting so upset about. Apparently there is better looking guys than you in London, and/or girls don't like your tinder profile.

Tinder has pretty much jumped the shark in my area, I have it in my phone as a backup option. But I have the same profile as I did years ago when I'd get a couple matches a day and now I almost never do.

Also, the ugliest girl in my class was showing me her messages from foreign guys, saying how beautiful she was and whatever.

I'm still gonna keep it and I still have a 100% conversion of girls who message me first, as rare as that actually is. Maybe patience is the key

Did anyone manage to spoof their location to a third world country, then buy tinder plus for a year for very little money and then just reset their location? If so what app worked for spoofing your GPS. In theory this should work and should be a nice scheme.

Well that worked. So I deleted my tinder profile and the app itself. Then I downloaded 'fake GPS location', set me up as living in Addis Abbeba, Ethiopia. Just to be certain I also put myself in Africa as born there on my fb profile (only visible to me). Then restarted my phone, reinstalled Tinder, set up the profile, bought a year of tinder plus for 60 euro (about half price I think). And then just deleted the GPS app, restarted phone again so I'm back I'm my actual location.

And so far so good... worth it I think for that money with the extra super likes, the boost and the ability to go check places where I'll travel to and prepare some girls for my arrival.

i posted some theories couple of pages back in this thread and wanted to update (my personal thoughts, to be taken with a grain of salt).

-still best advice is to swipe selectively at first, look carefully at all photos and profile for signs of fattys or fake etc. my overall feeling is try to swipe left at least half the time, and youre probably ok. but swiping left more selectively than that can't hurt, and probably will help.

unmatching is probably not a good idea, for sake of your tinder attractiveness score, best to have conversations with all your matches. if i must unmatch ive been using the reason "feels like spam" instead of "no reason" but overall i dont think its good to unmatch, even unmatching fake profiles/bots MAY hurt your tinder attractiveness score. anyone else have thoughts on this?

-lots of fake profiles, in my areas the most common are around 24 years old and 4 pictures with no description and no instagram, or they have a website in the photo or in profile (ie nsaforever, hookupgold)

-contrary to what i said before, not necessarily important to set your age range 18-55, for some guys it may be a waste of time.. as i now believe attractiveness is ranked relative to age range.

if youre older than 27, AND interested in at least some of the older girls...it wont hurt though. if youre significantly younger, tinder will show relitivley few 30+ girls anyway. it really doesnt matter either way. but if you run out of matches (for example 18-22) in a given search radius, switching to 18-55 may show you more matches within 18-22 that weren't showing up earlier.

-possible to install 2 versions of tinder on the same phone on android, search on google for "how to install 2 versions of the same app"... its not straightforward or easy but do-able.

this is helpful as i like to use the newest version for swiping (tinder plus benefits and shows school/work which often is usefull in my opener) and an old version (tinder 4.3.4 apk - see my older post) for sending most of my messages as it shows the girls last online time. you will have better reply rate if you send messages when they are actively using tinder (online within 30min or less). i havent tried running both at the same time, for obvious reasons.

-super likes, again, very helpful for someone a lot older or younger who likely doesnt have your age within their set age range. a super like is the only way they will ever see your profile. and also possibly useful for someone a kind of far away. It is hard to tell if someone will be receptive to a super like but think about if you might, possibly be their type, or someone they are curious about, and if so go ahead and super like.

along the lines of what rottenapple is suggesting, you can also change your age (once! per 6 month?) in facebook. so for you cheap bastards, set up a new facebook where you are under 21 (i dont know the exact age, but tinder is cheaper under a certain age).
and sign up for tinder plus, then change your age upwards if necessary.

Anyway dont want to sound like a broken record but for those not having good luck, delete your tinder account and start over with better pics..preferably "professionally" taken (not studio) photos, make sure you have a concise profille text, and perhaps try tinder plus for a month before complaining about how tinder has gone downhill.

also keep in mind getting #s is the easy part. just as important is to go for a quick meet up ...or if that is not possible, keep the momentum going. I find the best restart (or any time you wont be able to meet her within 2-3days max) texts are photos.

Oh didn't realize that. That's annoying. Tinder truly is a numbers game and she sounds like an attention whore. Perhaps you could've worded it a little softer, "would it be easier to text?" but doubt that would make a difference. I'd give her 24h to respond before you discount it. You can use the flamite app on your computer to see when she last logged in (if she hasn't seen your message). Love the girls that open you then don't respond.
