Regarding HSV I, I have had outbreaks on my lip once or twice a year since I was in high school. Usually I will just refrain from going down on a girl if an outbreak hasn't completely healed. A gf one time ended up having an initial outbreak on her cooch and the doctor told her it probably transferred from my lip. I think they identified it as HSV I through testing. So I either gave it to her or she was cheating on me, who knows.

Lesson to be learned, if a chick has oral herp don't let her mouth near your dick for a week.

Luckily I never had any symptoms or outbreaks on my dick even though we never used condoms. Is there a "statute of limitations" on the initial outbreak if you catch herpes?

Abso-fucking-lutely not! I made out with this cute 7 in a club after she had been giving me the eye. I was completely sober. The me and the girl went on a couple dates after that. On the second date she confesses to me that she has the claps. I ask her if she has oral or genital, to which she confirms having the latter. I continue un-phased saying that we would need to take extreme caution while engaging in sex. She tells me that it's not transmissible if she is not actively having an outbreak. She gives me a ride downtown and I give her a kiss. I've never contacted her since.

Why would you knowingly put your health at risk engaging in sex with someone who had an uncurable STD? That to me is idiotic.

Yeah I got into 2 mini-RLs with chicks who both had it. Probably banged each about 10 times (always with condom), went down on each a few times. One was on Valtrex, the other said she hadn't had an outbreak in years. It was dumb but both chicks turned me on immensely.

Then I started seeing another girl who I rawdogged a couple times. A week or two after our last sex encounter, she tells me she got tested and has herpes. I was like OH FUCK. Either I had given it to her (unknowingly, as I had never had an outbreak) or I could have been infected by her. I went and got tested and came back clean (HUGE sigh of relief). I let her know and she said she found out who have given it to her (not me). I ended up breaking things off with her, mainly because I didn't have a strong sexual attraction to her (and the herpes thing didn't help)

I probably wouldn't risk it again. Unless the girl was some skinny 18yr old hottie.

I'm just going to say you guys who've ever been in choichoi's situation all have an obligation to mislead the girl into thinking you passed on the lay because of logistics issues and not because of the claps. We can't let girls start thinking they should 'keep quiet' about their condition.

This thread is funny because any guy who's raw dogged more than 10 chicks has most likely already had sex with a girl that has herpes lol. How many of you guys have the "STD talk" with a girl before you have sex with her, how many of you guys are requesting to see an STD test? Do you know that 1 in 5 American women has genital herpes, a lot of them may not even know it, and a lot who do still won't tell you.

Americans really have a fascination with herpes. Never had any sort of problem with genital herpes and I'm not concerned about it at all. If you use a condom for pentrative sex you're most likely safe. I really don't get what all the commotion is about.

Resounding no for me. I don't care if it's relatively harmless, just don't like the idea of having it at all. Taking microbiology this semester hasn't helped.

I got pretty lucky this past weekend, the dude who lives with the girl I was hooking up with came up to me while she was in the bathroom and told me that he saw a bottle of Valtrex with her name on it in her room. Immediately lost interest and made up some bullshit about feeling guilty since I'm involved with someone else when she got back.

Props to that guy for being a team player, get the feeling that's not the first time he's done that.

I have fucked more strippers with herpes than I care to admit. 25% of sexually active females in US have genital herpes, 75% have HPV which causes genital warts in other words, treat every girl like her vagina is an infected cesspool, statistically it is. That being said, I take Lysine (amino acid) as a preventative measure. If you maintain a ratio of Lysine to Arginine of about 3 to 1 your body cannot produce herpes sores. The herpes virus needs the protein from the amino acid Arginine to replicate. Lysine has the same shape but is ineffective at enabling the virus to reproduce. Avoid supplements and foods with arginine at all costs if you are sexually active. Take Lysine, wear condoms no matter what, and always wash your peoples in the sink with soap and water after the dirty deed.

Actually, I've requested recent STD test results and shown mine in the past.

You may consider that over the top, but if you maintain frame, this isn't as hard to deal with as you may think.

Of course, if you're looking for same night lays, this is not really feasible, but then again, lots of guys just can't seem to avoid rawdogging, and I consider that a form of self control. I'm no saint, but I've never understood the lack of self-control with constant rawdogging. Messing up here and there? Sure, that's human to make mistakes, but having them be the rule instead of the exception just points towards lack of self-control.

Agreed, girls are easily spread their gift to others, so herpes dating sites would be good places for them.

As for girls taking care of themselves... Recently started fucking this slender 20 y/o cutie with condoms. Once one condom broke, so I got another one. Other time the condom just fell off. So I got concerned about her having something or me having something I could pass on to her. I got tested for HIV and other stuff and came out negative, so I was relieved.

Next session, after the first bang I staight-up showed her my results to show her I am clean. She got surprised and told me she hadn't known another man who got regularly tested (I disregarded this as a slut-tell, because her last LTR was with a boyfriend and she wore an IUD, so I assume both were clean). She is scared to death of getting HSV or HPV, she knows some girls that had had terrible breakouts.

This girl goes to a high-end gynecologist and there she gets tested every 6 months.

One man might not get his ONS girls to get tested on the spot, but regulars should get tested and know about your own status. It's a matter of good-will I think.
