RE: Going from big city to college town...
I loved and miss college. Some of the easiest lays of my life. I wouldn't mind going back. Are you going to school or just going to a college town like Lubbock? If you are going to class, show up right before class and sit next to a chick you are interested in. Then start convo right after class. From there you are in for the rest of the semester. Alot of people just go to class without talking to anybody. Women love being able to talk to another person in a new class. I've started convo with girls in class and they would come sit next to me for the rest of the year. Study session, change venue, and escalate as normal. You can run game on the tutors as well, join a club that interest you, and hit the gym. Always talent at the gym although gym game is tough.

If you are just moving to a college town then you should get in the social circle to knock down the college chicks. Hit up the football or basketball games to find out where the afterparties are at. Other than that if you have any skill, use that to your advantage. I had a buddy who was management for Wal-Mart. So he ran a little 30 minute weekly work-shop for resume and interviewing. He knocked down a few bad chicks. You can always promote at a club or bar also. Hit up the manager or owner and ask for a dead night. Most will give you the door because you would be bringing in more customers on a night that is otherwise dead. I did a Dancehall Bash in Corpus Christi and hit up the colleges hard. Because I promoted the event, IOI were high and I got in with a few cliques. Made a little bread too.

College game is really 'warm' approaches and get in where you fit in. The shields are pretty low and you can dress better than 95% of the campus you will be slaying that 18-22 yo nani. Nothing to it but to do it haha.

The cycle of disrespect can start with just an appetizer.

When you move to a college town from a big city, you will have much more success with the same amount of game. While I agree that warm approaches are a key component to college game and really make your job much easier, I also think cold approaches are easier in college towns.College girls are easier to game because they aren't jaded, they're less experienced with guys, they're horny, they drink, and they are social and looking to meet new people. All of TexasMade's first paragraph is solid info. It really is astonishing how many people don't talk to anyone in their class. There is no competition at all, you just have to play wisely and not embarrass yourself.
Outside of class, you can easily approach girls all over campus walking around every day. There is just a non-stop supply of hot girls you can flirt with. Use the fact that you're new to town to your advantage. Open girls by asking for help with directions, bus routes, random facts about the town et cetera. You have an excuse to talk to them because you don't know what you're doing.
House parties are the easiest place to pull. Make lots of friends, go to lots of parties, and you will do well. Other venues: walking around campus during the day, coffee shop on or near campus, whatever social/study building the students hang out at on campus, bars next to campus, and apartment complexes near campus (especially ones with a pool).
If you're in the United States, a lot of these girls are going to be under the legal drinking age, but most will have a fake ID to get into bars. However, many don't have a fake ID, so you will have to consider this when setting up a date. Easiest ways to pull from the bar when you haven't gotten her convinced to fuck you yet are going to a hot tub, night swimming, or smoking weed (or all three).
What college town are you moving to? I might be able to help you out more.

Most state or public colleges probably 45% of the student population doesn't need to be there. Private or Ivy league schools are different.

The cycle of disrespect can start with just an appetizer.

prepare for glory. the talent is great, the girls are still thin, poor, stupid, and drunk. the competition is next to nothing.

RE: Going from big city to college town...
One thing that will make college social life better for you is this: It's a reverse totem pole type of progression. For example, if you was a freshman girl, you'd be getting hit on left and right. Yet as a freshman guy, you will be seen as beta unless your game is strong. This chick I used to have oneitis for always made out with one freshman dude drunk and he started to throw up! Oh what a delight that was! (And he's the dude who told me I need to learn game)

Now as the years go by, this reverses. By the time you are an upperclassman, you'll be the one the little freshmen girls would look after. And those sluts in your class are less sexually valuable. For example, I have one friend who is a senior who was dating this Spanish chick who was a sophomore. He was banging that thing too. When it was break up time, her hamster wheel was on fire.

And as for private/ivy league schools, I will say from experience that it's very challenging for someone just starting off. Reason is is that some races tend to act monogamous socially making gaming for the brotha a bit of a uphill battle. You have to take into account that unlike public college girls, who are probably easier to bang in general, these hoes prolly have been raised to act a little more bitchy.

So in that case, joining a GOOD frat will make gaming ease up for you in your later years. Cause now, you are able to have more party access to the girls. Smile
