The REALITY of College Town Game


Us PUAs and players have a distorted perspective of the sexual marketplace. An oft-repeated trope is 20% of women are fvcking 80% of the men. This is not true - the stats don't bear this out. (http://www.hookingupsmart.com/2010/09/14...principle/)

 
The fact is every college has a surplus of girls. And for every attention-whoring sorority slut gyrating her booty at the local frat bar on Saturday night, there are three "nice girls" sitting at home watching Twilight, or nerding it up at the library, or hanging out with the sisterhood bitching about how there are no good men left.
 
There's a huge reservoir of cute girls that don't get a lot of attention and don't a lot of play. These are girls in arts majors in 90% chick programs like psychology, sociology etc. These girls aren't used to getting a lot of attention from dudes because they're not meeting dudes. They're not meeting a quality guys. A lot of these girls are horny and lonely. They WANT to MEET guys to date and fvck. Theyr'e not.
So what happens when these girls hit up what was USED TO BE the primate grounds for the mating dance - the local the bar/club? They get hit on by guido douchebag roid monkeys. Or awkward dorks with bad game. Or wallflower creepers staring them down from the sidelines. And though they'd like to meet and get to know guys, the loud "ra ra" autotune crap blasting at high decibels makes conversation unbearable. And when she does start chatting with a quality guy - the guy with the professional career, the car, the pad - whom she feels she has a connection with, the mother hen shows up and her jealous friends invariably end up c*ckblocking.

Bars were once the spots these single ladies would go in pursuit of men, but the bar scene has changed. With the evolution of Facebook/texting technology, bars have become social grounds for big, mixed sets of friends (guys and girls) to hang out, not find someone to fvck. I used to see tons of 2-sets and 3-sets of girls to chat up at bars and clubs. I seldom see that now. Most girls want to be in relationships, but think of the sheer number of single college girls out there. A lot of girls are too picky, but most are simply not meeting calibre men. And a lot of the quality cerebral guys whom these girls SHOULD be dating have dropped out of the game altogether, resorting to video games and porn as a quick fix.

But most guys don't have the tenacity to tough it through. Most guys have way too much of a fragile ego to overcome the inevitable sea of rejections that will come when first starting out. And they're frightened off by social shaming terms like "creeper" and "stalker" used by chicks (and cockblocking dudes) to scare beta guys from approaching during the day. So there's no competition.
 
This is why for the enterprising DAY GAME PLAYER IN A COLLEGE TOWN, there's a bounty of booty to be had. Even moreso for a young professional dude just out of school who won't need to worry about a bad rep scarring him on campus. College girls are impressed by mature guys with a stable career, car, pad etc. Just look don't look old.

This is EXACTLY why I stopped going to clubs. The last straw was when I had a cute sorority girl with me leaving the club and her bitch ass friends actually opened the door of my truck and pulled her out.

I like going to a disco with a group of friends and I can pick up there if I want to, but once you get some skill at day game you will never look back.

We used to scour the spot looking for fly girls to invite them to parties. (Sure maybe a few slip through the cracks, but we were mad through).

And neighboring schools as well.

I don't know, back when I was an undergrad, it was WELL known to hang out at Departments of Communication, Psychology or Business if one wanted to meet chicks. Especially for me because you sure as hell were not going to meet chicks in the Math, Physics or Computer Science departments.

On campus of course, but more specifically, hang around the art classes, find out when the art classes get out and be there when class gets out. Shit, you can even go into class and hang out if you look young enough.

Also, check out the library and the study areas. Cute nerdy chicks are always there.

Stroll thru the dorms and look for girls with an artistic vibe to them. They usually have a slightly off beat fashion sense, crazy colorful accessories, flowers in their hair, and just the general vibe of an artistic person.

Also, check out the shopping areas that are close to the university. These girls can be found shopping at the cafes, bookstores, and off beat clothing stores around campus.

Find out where the psychology department is and hang out around that building. Those classes are filled with chicks.

Go to the little art/crafts/fashion shows around campus.

I like to target the 7's and 7.5's. These girls are not used to being hit on by serious players so their bitch shields are low. They welcome the attention and make are jobs easier.

The easiest thing to do is just live in a college town. Shop where they shop, work out at the same gym, and eat at the same restaurants. This will guarantee you a constant and steady stream of college girls.

Another tip: If you are gonna Game on a college campus, it really helps to carry a backpack or a laptop bag. Say that you are a grad student taking one class or something. It really makes a difference.

My bread and butter was Campus Buses during the day. High turnover rate lots of cuties. Get on, sit next to the cutest one and talk for a 10 minutes (always a situational opener "look at that funny backback that kid is wearing") before going direct and pulling digits to meet up downtown at a later date. It almost never failed.

I used to ride the bus for an hour at a time and collect numbers. I was a machine. Most of them will turn into dates. I once had 5 dates in 5 days.

Meeting girls through nighttime approaches is effective, but more difficult considering that girls go to hang out with their social circles (thanks texting and iphone) so it is harder to invade their circle of friends. In college it is mostly about WHO you know and fitting in but there are many ways around that.

College Town Night Game is even worse for cold approach night game - unless you already have an "in" with a social circle. Otherwise it's next to impossible for a "random".

You open a set and her friend texts all her friends and then all her chick friends and dudes show up and then it's "OMG scream hug" and that 2-set has blown up into a 10-set. I think you're overstating this. Pretty much any girl that is attractive enough to be bangable is getting hit on/getting male attention on a college campus (and elsewhere). Maybe there are some really dorky/nerdy girls who are only marginally attractive who fit into this category, but most of us probably wouldn't bother to approach them in a daygame environment where there's no alcohol to dull your senses.

Exactly. The girls who are actually fly enough to catch your attention definitely have males after them already. You're going to be competing with the horny athlete dudes in her rocks for jocks class. The ratio of girls to guys isn't SO heavily skewed on most campuses that a significant number of the attractive girls have no male suitors at all.

While this annoys me as much as everyone else here, I don't think it has totally killed night game yet. Although I've seen plenty of girls play with their phones non-stop for the whole night, it's not like every single girl who's out is playing with her phone the entire time.

There are plenty of guys to go around. Be assured, there is no reservoir of untapped chicks, especially if they were used to social media in high school. The chick doesn't even have to meet the men during school to have plenty of men chasing them via facebook/myspace, etc.

The girls are NOT sleeping alone. This myth has been around in different forms for as long as I've been in this community, almost 14 years now. The "hot chicks get hit on less frequently myth". It's snake oil.

That said, watching college evolve has been kind of depressing. When I got to San Diego in 2000 and started going to SDSU, ALL of san diego was a meat market. It was unbelievable. These days, even SDSU, one of the sluttiest schools on earth, is a pale shadow of what it used to be. When I went back for my masters, the chicks were fatter, the social scene had died down tremendously, not good for the single men without connections.

My best friend's wife works in admissions there now, so I meet up for lunch with her every few weeks, still declining. A Jamaican restaurant did open up nearby with bomb ass beef patties though.


I saw an article a few months ago about dating at UNC Chapel Hill, and it was equally depressing. The crazy part was, the article was written by a female student, complaining about the lack of men, but admitted most of the women were NOT INTERESTED in most of the men that were available(and desperate).

So it was like a double whammy to the guys. The campus had way more women than men, yet none of the women wanted anything to do with them.

I've always recommended men read books like "Unhooked" and "unprotected" etc that talk about the experience of women on campus. They give valuable insights on how to work it.

Oh come now, this is only the 14th topic Spin has posted knocking night game.

I truly don't get it, I never had a problem picking up girls in college. With $1 drink specials during the week, Thursdays nights kicking off the weekend with the danceclub/bar filled with ripe young sluts, and then frat parties and house parties on the weekend, you literally had to have no game to not get laid.

As far as having to be "in a social circle" that's bogus too, just last winter I crashed a house party, when I felt too drunk to drive home after going to a college town bar. I just walked in, made friends with the band that was playing, grabbed a cup and drank their alcohol for free.

Yea but that's highly location and time dependent. How long ago were you in college? When I was in college for my bachelors, things were much different than the same school for my masters, 5 years later.

Also, can you crash a house party every week? If you can't do it consistently week after week, it's not really a viable option. I started dating the bail bonds lady I used last month, but I'm not going to advise people to go try "bail bonds game", if you get what i mean.

House Parties out here tend to be weak as fuck OR very exclusive because there are so many extra men around. Spin is a bit dramatic about it, but times have changed quite a bit. Clubbing is not the meat market scene it used to be, if anything clubbing has now become a day 2 activity instead of a place to meet girls. Most groups are focused inward, at their bottle service tables, the general admission era is mostly dudes, etc. That's the scene here.

Lounges and bars are more lucrative, but you have to be there at the right times(generally early in the night).

I don't think there is an untapped reservoir of attractive and objectively horny young women anywhere. You may be right about a huge chunk of them staying at home watching Twilight, but if so, it's more likely due to the fact that the vast majority of women don't desire much sex outside of a relationship (the percentage is higher for the very young and experimenting women, but that stage may not even last through college). They're watching TV without a drop of moisture in their vaginas and they're not thinking about sex at all. (Of course female sexuality is more complicated than that: a woman's desire for sex can be dormant and then "unlocked" when she meets a man who pushes her buttons.) Guys running game are essentially fighting for the very few women who are horny and DTF at any given moment, or the greater portion of women who are at least sexually "unlockable" in short order. In the latter category I'd guess that a nice chunk of them are naive and expect the player who unlocks them to become a boyfriend. Outside of a true nightclub environment, the fraction of women genuinely DTF for the sake of fucking is pitifully small as far as I can tell. Nightclub girls are a completely different breed.

I should mention that almost all of my experience is with women mid-20's and up. I'd be curious to know if the young players here think college girls are all that much different than what I wrote. If the "nice" college girls studying the things the OP mentioned are really dying to get fucked but don't know how, then I fucked up big time in college.

I'd say that you have a SIGNIFICANT advantage as someone in their late 20's (or older) in the college scene. You don't even have to necessarily worry about looking older--- lots of older people go back to college too, unless you look an old 40 year old+ guy.

A lot of 18 year old dudes look A LOT younger and are dweebs with no real game. I found the absolute easiest way is just to take a class-- heck why not make it a language class. The first half of the class no one talks to each other, but by midway through the class, girls open up. Towards the end of the class, you can have nearly half the attractive girls clamoring for you.

Other particular goldmines are the departments of education, nursing, health care and related coursework like biology, chemistry and intro physics. Just to let you know, most nursing classes are 90%+ women.

I read that article. That's because that other 50% is comprised of aspergy computer science/engineering dorks, beta nice guy chump orbiters with no game, immature little boys who've barely hit puberty, and smelly foreign guys. There's a lot of dorks, dweebs and doofuses in college - I went to school with them. It means less competition and more girls for us - none of us here fit that mold.

I'll relate my experience. In my online dating days I'd hunt for lizards 18-24 on POF. I noticed a disproportionate share of hot lizards from a neighbouring town, mostly college girls from a small campus that's 80% female - no exaggeration. WTF, why would these cute, nice, seemingly normal girls be on a dating site looking for men? Because they're stuck in an articially closed environment without enough guys. They can't find guys to fvck.

So for a few weekends last year my buddy and I hit up this town to scope for lizards at the bars and clubs, expecting a poon nirvana. Much to our dismay, the ratios were 50-50. Moreover, guys were DRIVING IN from OTHER towns and the big city with the same expectations and fvcking up the ratios. And we saw the same dynamic played out in the clubs in this town as in the big city - excessive texting, loud music, big mixed social circles, Jersey Shore douchebag roid monkeys everywhere etc. - making it impossible to run pickup game. At the end of the night, none of the guys were pulling girls home unless it was girls they already knew.

So where were all the excess college girls? There was the epiphany - a lot of these girls were sick of the night scene and staying home. And given the skewed ratios, a huge number of these girls were sleeping alone or resorting to online dating. Owing to today's broken dating and mating scene, there's a lot of tight young pussy not getting tapped. Such a shame.

I've fvcked a number of these college lizards post-college. The juniors and seniors like mature, slightly older guys who have their shit together, but who still look like they could pass for a college kid. They love a guy with his own pad so they can fvck and scream to their hearts content without 6 roommates in a dingy slum overhearing. I've had a 20 year old from the local campus coming over for discreet nightly bangs. She's been angling for a relationship. When all the lizards come back for school in September, there's no reason why I can't multiply this and keep a harem of college girls on the regular.

Women are choosy as their options, so work the ratios to your advantage. Keep a harem.

To the guys in here hating on college town day game - have you done approaches? Have you spent time in the trenches? Are you speculating from the way you think things should be, or are you relating from experience?

That's a pretty loose analogy. Obviously you're not going to crash a house party every week; however, you could find yourself at a frat party every week at any decent college campus. You could also get invited to parties on a college campus pretty easily. I bet you could even use facebook, to see what college parties are happening in your area. Most of the parties my roommates and I used to throw, and my friends had, had plenty of randoms show up. $5 a cup, who cares?

As for the quality of the party, that just depends on where you're at. I'm not saying I got into house parties at the playboy mansion, and ya there's some that flat out suck for running game, but I usually find a way to have a good time no matter what.

1. 2006. I went back for a weekend as recently as Spring 2009 and got an SNL. Should've got another one the previous night too, but got 'mother hen'd' before I even knew what that term meant.
2. A 50/50 ratio at the bar/club/etc is just fine, you should still be able to pull.
3. How do you know the guys already knew the girls before that day/night? How do you know how well they knew them?

CJ, times have changed my friend. 2006 was 5 years ago. Things are MUCH different now. These guys in college now have a whole different scenario.

You going back as an older guy proves nothing, it actually proves the opposite. I can do the same thing. I can go back to my campus(and often do), as an older guy with a great job, money, toys, etc and pick up tons of easy college chicks. But the guys IN SCHOOL RIGHT NOW, aren't in this situation.

On college today, if you aren't a guy with connections already(especially ones where people commute), you have a heard time "breaking in". Nobody needs extra guys. unless you are in the frat these days, you probably won't be getting invited or let in to many frat parties. I used to crash frat parties, too. Was much easier for me than it is for guys these days. Nobody does $5 a cup these days, at least not here in San Diego at my alma mata. That shit died out years ago. The girls are tugged in more directions, and usually have better options than the kegger the dude from psych is throwing.

Now, via social media and whatever else, they get invited to better, more exclusive events, several years ahead of what girls half a generation ago got to do.

Everything that applies to spin's pessimistic night-life posts applies here, even more so in some ways.

These days, even SDSU, one of the sluttiest schools on earth, is a pale shadow of what it used to be. When I went back for my masters, the chicks were fatter, the social scene had died down tremendously, not good for the single men without connections.

My best friend's wife works in admissions there now, so I meet up for lunch with her every few weeks, still declining. A Jamaican restaurant did open up nearby with bomb ass beef patties though.


I saw an article a few months ago about dating at UNC Chapel Hill, and it was equally depressing. The crazy part was, the article was written by a female student, complaining about the lack of men, but admitted most of the women were NOT INTERESTED in most of the men that were available(and desperate).

So it was like a double whammy to the guys. The campus had way more women than men, yet none of the women wanted anything to do with them.

I've always recommended men read books like "Unhooked" and "unprotected" etc that talk about the experience of women on campus. They give valuable insights on how to work it.

Interesting.

I did a stop by at my alma mater and I was appalled at the quality of girl.

Sloppy dressed, tapping away at cell phones, and chubbier than I remembered.

(And my old school is a bastion of West Coast wealth, and is better than 99.9% of universities, or at least it was.)

I have to nix everyone on American colleges being hot spots.

Give me a topless beach in Spain in summertime, or topless Miami Beach in wintertime any day.

I'm all about the Riverias, though I'm partial to the French one. Better surfing and my French was always better than my Spanish.

US colleges are still good, IF you are "in". The problem is, guys in general are so territorial these days, it's tricky for the up and comers.
