This flake shouldn't bother me, I guess its because literally the last > 12 times I fucked her she readily agreed to meet up without any qualms. This is the first of such direct flakery I've ever gotten from her. Thusfar she has been super complaint to my advances and dictation.

It also drove home the frustrations of my terrible logistics. I have to wait until my entire house goes to sleep before picking her up. This can be as late as 11:20 some evenings and it just fucks things up from several angles for me.

After 40 mins I texted "gay" and went to sleep

Yeah I was really horny and I wish I pushed a little harder.

I'd recommend leaving the house before people have gone to sleep, then hanging out with her until you're reasonably sure that everyone has gone to sleep, then heading back. She can't fall asleep being tired in her room if she's out with you having a good time.

Remember that your situation isn't as bad as it could be. Plenty of guys would really like to have a place to bone even if they had to wait for the other people to go to sleep.

Anderiod, you da man. I relayed this to an older cat and he said the same thing. Kill some time at the park under the stars or some shit like that till my cockblocking family goes to sleep. Still, 4 walls and a transformers dvd turned up loud is a blessing. I can't count how many times I've nutted on a chicks back while optimus prime was transforming into a truck.

Got flaked on by a Chilean woman I'd asked to go hiking with me. This to me is textbook flake, although she seemed stoked to go yesterday. This morning 30 minutes before I leave my house she texts me about how her daughter is sick and her throat hurts. She did ask if we could go another day but oh well. I took an acting class with AS back in June 2013. I met a few months before that. I have sometimes chatted with her on Facebook, and we have a few common friends there.

Anyway, I was going to a New York suburb for an event Saturday. I didn't fly out of JFK on Sunday until 9pm, so my Sunday was wide open. AS lived in Brooklyn now, so I suggested we meet up and hang out. She does have a boy friend.

Anyway, she texted on Saturday morning at 11am. I knew she had my phone number. We agreed to do something on Sunday. I stayed in Westchester County that night. In the morning, I took the train back to Grand Central Station. After a few more text messages, she told me to meet her at Union Square at 12. I said I wasn't sure if I could make 12, so I suggested 12:30. She was cool with that.

The last text message I got from her was at 11:15 am. I hadn't been to NYC since 2004, so I wasn't sure of the drill. It turned out getting to Union Square was easy, I got there about 12:05. I came out of the subway near a Walgreen's. I bought some stuff there and texted her that I was outside the Walgreen's. So, I waited and waited.

Finally, around 1pm, I figure it's time to leave. Then I noticed the Whole Foods and decided to get lunch. I went in and got lunch. Finally at 1:36, I told her I didn't see any reason to stay around there. I went back to Grand Central.

At about 3:00 pm, I get a text message from another cell phone claiming that she didn't have her phone. She claimed that she expected to find me without it somehow. She invited me to come by another place in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn and even gave me train instructions. I refused to go.

Honestly, I do still regret responding to her text messages on the other phone at all. I should have just ignored her completely.

She also messaged me on Facebook about 1pm claiming she didn't have her phone. We hadn't used Facebook during the trip before, so why start now?

My flight didn't leave JFK until 9pm. But I still wasn't going to waste any more time on her, even though I really had nothing better to do. I hung out at a Kinko's for a while, then I hung out at the airport.

Was going to meet up with a tinder chick tomorrow. We had a solid back and forth going via text, and it was unambiguously clear she really wanted to meet. I texted her today telling her the place I wanted to go to get drinks... and she texted an hour later saying "I'm really sorry, I woke with with a cold today and think I need to cancel for tomorrow". No counteroffer or anything. I guess the lesson is that even when a chick is feeling you, they still can flake. My guess is there's another dude in the picture. So it goes.

Regarding the above, I had an epic fuckup/recovery today. After the flake last night, I texted her the urban dictionary definition of "flake". Then, this afternoon, I sent her a text about how she stood me up without even calling or texting even after our time together ( beta I know )

This prompted her to text me that when she finally got her phone turned back on (her phone was off/not working for some reason and I think she was busy with some night class shit ) turned on last night and saw my "flake" definition text....me sending it without seeing if there was any explanation, she was 'turned off'. She said she had intended to contact me last night and apologize for missing our date but my text last night nixed that.

So, I sent a quasi apology text asking if we could talk. ( I can sometimes be pretty eloquent even while being to the point, in my texts ) She texted back if I was in my office and then came by to visit. We talked a while about light hearted topics, hugged and got a good kiss goodbye. She wants to do drinks this weekend. So...I'll schedule tomorrow.

The moral of the story is....sometimes when a girl 'flakes' ....especially if it's an old flame who you think may still have some feelings for you...she may actually have a legitimate excuse. Shit does come up from time to time in real life. So....in the heat of passion...don't send anything ugly or sarcastic. If you want to see her again, give her the benefit of the doubt. Then, if after several days, it proves she really did screw you over with an authentic flake....you can send mean texts if you wish. Personally, I think the best option is totally ignoring them if they flake or at least waiting for a possible explanation.

I tried setting up something with a girl last weekend, ended up being very dodgy with all my texts. I banged her one time before that and she seemed into it so I just assumed she was busy. At that point I forget about her for a while, and today I send her a "Hey, what's up?" text because someone else was flaking on me and I wanted to get some. Six hours later I receive a text back which was something to the effect of "Hey, sorry I should have said this sooner since you're a really great guy, but I don't see this going anywhere." This is awesome. What girl trades a great night with a guy for a dumb ass night with parents. They spent 18 years trying to get away from them and then the run right back. Been there done that.
