RE: Belarus datasheet
Just finished reading this thread and I'm left speechless!
Stupendous posts Ligurian!
I can't thank my good friend Rudeboy enough for bringing my attention towards this thread the other night as this thread contained "some of the best posts in a long time on the forum".
Your Tales from Belarus are some of THE best, most captivating and most insightful travel tales I've read in my 5+ years on this forum! Right up there with Chaos' legendary Iran, Pakistan and monumental Trans Siberian train journey travel threads!
As others have already alluded, write a book, get a blog or even a podcast discussing about your captivating insights on your travels around Inner Russia and Belarus!
You have a natural talent for writing and your prose flows very smoothly in a way that takes the reader on a wild, fascinating journey right next to you.
Needless to say, I'm anxiously awaiting more of your fascinating stories amico!

RE: Belarus datasheet
Anyone know of an emoticon where it is some dude tapping his foot and saying where the fuck is the next amazingly written update? But he does it really politely and with gratitude since he knows The Ligurian doesn't owe us shit? But the emoticon also shows this emptiness because he hasn't had a good read in a while? But the emoticon also shows he has a life. Not like he is constantly hitting f5 to refresh this thread?
Just asking for a friend.

RE: Belarus datasheet
Belarus adventure continued:
Friday 11/9
The Kiev Crew (Ligurian, Turysta and James Rodri) finally rolled into Minsk on Friday after their Revo induced shenanigans on the train from Gomel. Cunts had promised to keep me a can but drank the bloody lot. I was a bit pissed but there you go. I would have done the same. I dropped over to their apartment and it was great to see Ligurian again after a month and also to meet James and Turysta for the first time. Sound lads they are. Another friend also dropped by. The plan for the night was quickly hatched. The Ligurian said that since he had drank quite a few beverages of Revo on top of a bottle of vodka as well as copious amounts of beer on the train to Minsk, stated "I think we will have a quiet one tonight". You know when he says that, the night will be anything but. We left the apartment and headed to Hosper Pub located on Kulman Street, a short distance from their apartment. This place a is a sports themed bar and offers a good variety of food and alcoholic beverages to choose from. Highly recommended if you also want to catch the footy.
After the Hosper, I suggested that we bounce to a bar about 10 minute walk away called Tuse on Surganova Street. I had taken Triple G there and the Ligurian on his last trip. Big mistake. We went in, sat down and ordered our drinks. It took ages for the drinks (some of them) to be delivered and James Rodri was getting agitated about this. I couldnt blame him. He was sobering up. Finally the drinks arrived after what seemed an age. However the waiter had somehow 'managed' to get the order wrong. Our friend ordered a 50 ml drink, but 500 ml had arrived. An argument ensued with the waiter. The rest of us in the meantime had decided to bail and the Ligurian asked for the bill. We were being charged for the 500 ml of gin. It was a clear scam. I had been to this place before and the service never took this long. The waiter and some of the bar staff conspired to pull off a stroke on a group of foreigners. As we were leaving another argument broke out with the waiter. The Ligurian, a Russian speaker asked for the manager. The cunts wanted to charge us for the gin, an extra $20. She said that she was going to call the cops and the Ligurian called her out on it and the cops were summoned. We were led out to the foyer where we waited for the police to arrive and they did. It took nearly an hour for the whole thing to be sorted. The cops were very civilized about the whole affair and eventually our friend paid the extra 200,000 BYR. After that we were released and went on our merry way.
My friend knew of a very good bar in the city centre where there were incredible talent to be had. We hailed down two taxis and headed to the wine bar. Apparently many models and celebrities frequent this place and we were not let down by the sheer quality of 8s and 9s on display. The team split up. My friend and I decided to run some game while the Kiev Crew met up with 3 birds that Turysta had met off tinder. The Kiev Crew left soon, bouncing to another venue with the 3 birds (whom they later ditched) while we stayed in the wine bar to run some game. I snagged a solid 8, Anna a speech therapist and Viktoria a plump 6.5 with big arse and tits, who is an economist. What is it with this place? Nearly every bird I meet here is a fucking economist. Anyway after a few gin and tonics and grabbing a couple of numbers, I decided to head for the hills. I left my friend in the company of a very attractive blonde. However in the end he ended up getting clockblocked from a jealous friend and like myself ended up going empty handed but with a couple of numbers in tow.
Saturday 12/9
The plan for Saturday had been for 5 of us to paint the town red but Lady Luck was not to smile on us. The Kiev Crew had gone to Lido restaurant on Nezavisimosti for a bite to eat in the afternoon. A few hours later the Ligurian had informed me that they had spent the last while with their faces head first in the toilet bowl and shitting water out of their collective arses. It was food poisoning. The Kiev Crew were down and out for the night. Balls. However Umy friend sent me viber message to say that he was on a date with a bird he had day gamed during the week. He was in Doodah King Bar on ul. Biersana just off Ploscha Lenina. His date had brought along her sister and a friend. He needed help and I as a good mate dutifully obliged. After an hour I had arrived but was met by my friend at the Red Church. They had moved to Pinta Bar nearby. On arriving at the bar, I was met by his date, an attractive 7.5. I sat down and nestled up to her sister, Nastya, a fiery bottle blonde. Nastya and I struck up an immediate rapport. Her English was passable but we managed to communicate using a mix of English and my very passable Russian. She works as a civil servant but is also a big wig in the BRSM, the Belarusian version of the Komsomol. Nastya ordered a bottle of local champagne and began to down the bottle. She was on her 2nd bottle and was well on her way to getting smashed. I managed to isolate her outside when she went out for a fag break. I threw the head. She went for it. Game on. Back inside and after another few glasses she was fairly ossified. About 11pm two of my friend's date male beta friends arrived and sat down beside us. It was getting awkward, me and him sitting with these two strange dudes so we decided to bail. I had gotten Nastya's number and vkontake details beforehand just in case anything happened. We made our excuses and left, promising to contact them later which we did. We didn't want to remain sitting there for the rest of the night. Time was of the essence. My friend and I knew that nothing was going to happen but I had gotten Nastya's number so was quite satisfied.
We headed straight to my friend's apartment where after a cup of coffee and him changing his shirt, we headed straight to Overtime Club on Nemiga which is below the Palace of Sports. Triple G and I had checked this place out back in May and we both liked the place. However when we arrived we discovered to find a) the entry price was doubled to 200,000 BYR and the ratio was shit. It was a total sausage fest. Unperturbed, we decided to go ahead. It was not good. We were getting blown out left, right and centre. It was fucking carnage. The dyevs were feigning ignorance in their ability in speaking English yet a few minutes later were on the dance floor drunkenly roaring to Bon Jovi. WTF? Anyway in the end it turned out to be a mixed bag. I managed to get the number of Alona, a 6.5 office worker from Grodno. However I was not so lucky with an attractive Ukrainian 7.5 whom I met conducting Roosh's 'at the bar' game. We were chatting for a while and getting on great. When the slow set came on we headed straight to the dance floor. I went to make my move and she turned away explaining that she had a boyfriend. Well fuck that I said and left her there feeling pissed off. I went back to my place at the bar where my friend tried to escalate with this other bird but she was having none of it. At about 3.30 am we decided to call it a night. I was feeling a bit rough after two solid nights on the piss. The gin and tonics from the night before were starting to make their presence felt. It was nighty night.
Fast forward to today. I called over with my friend to see the Kiev Crew and they were still feeling the after affects of the dodgy salad from Lido. The Ligurian arrived back from the shop where he had bought some beer, vodka and food. He looked as rough as a bear's arse. My friend and I headed back out for a bite to eat. He has a date tonight with some bird he day gamed on Wednesday while the Kiev Crew will probably attempt a foray into the Minsk night. I'm back to work tomorrow after a week off. The Kiev Crew will be heading back to Kiev, Revo-less tomorrow night while I will be winging it with my friend for a few days more. Its been a good but eventful weekend to put it mildly. Back to the grind tomorrow. Lights out for Lord Tito. Good night.

For quality I'd advise Shtirlitz, Coyote is also not bad. And why noone ever mentioned Zibitzkaya with Malt&Hops, Tumani, Cherdak. This is probably the best place to head on Friday.
I didn't like Blackhall. Sure, talent was high but it doesn't even have an appropriate dance floor for pulls...and I love dance-game. Also, there were many gold-diggers and older guys who reeked of sex-tourism. Prices were also very high...I am still kicking myself for buying a girl a glass of wine there, getting her number, and then never hearing back from her. What d4b said is more accurate, hit the cheaper places, you're gonna have better time.
