That is actually quite a correct assessment. Within Europe your value as a man goes up and down. Then there is the optimization of the profile itself - if you are 6'3 writing that in the text or other DHVs. Tinder can be optimized in terms of pics and then the text Game is another matter that many men fuck up.

What I find irritating is that a male 8 and a male 9 are on a completely different planet - I am probably more a 7, but a friend is a solid 8 and matches quite well on Tinder. However we have a buddy who is a model-looks 9. That guy can simply text anything. With men the pussy really swims in droves to the top.

Also wrong side of 30 does not mean jack-shit. Even if you are older you post that you are 29, unless you look too old - then make it 32 tops. Most 20-year-olds have age limits around that.

Yeah....I'm thinking tinder is on the decline for sure.

Tinder is for sure on the decline. I think the new swipe limit might actually hinder your efforts in a large city like NY also.

Now the question is: what replaces it?

And how do we identify and exploit it before the thirsty masses do?

I really like Bumble a lot. However the caveat is the girl has to message first, and within 24 hours, or you lose the match. I've matched with a few girls and they let the match die. Why match then if you have no intention of talking?

After Tinder's epic fail, Bumble should look to reconsider their policy if they want to capitalize. If not they won't be in the running.

Happn sucks (for me), and Hinge is decent, but even as a man living in NY, there are few people on there. And it's not like you can swipe anytime, anywhere. You are presented with a list of girls and you either click a heart or click an x. Some days the app will show me 15 girls, sometimes just 3. Depends how frequently you use it and whatnot. If I leave the app alone for a good 10-12 hours I'm presented with 15 or so matches. If I'm checking every few hours, they may give me 1-2 matches, and that's pushing it.

So, in short - no one has yet to fulfill the void Tinder will inevitably leave behind. Every app either has no one on it, stupid gimmicky stipulations to separate itself from Tinder, or they're buggy.

I still use version 2.2.2 and matches still come in. However, none of them respond to my messages. I don't know if Tinder made it so they don't show up on the older versions. I've also never encountered a swipe limit on this version. I'm about to hang it up. This weekend I finally made five approaches at the bar after being lazy this entire winter. Rusty. I haven't secured a meeting on Tinder since last Summer. Nothing but flakes. It's dead to me.

I finally started to get some matches on Tinder, but the two girls I've messaged haven't replied and don't seem like they will. I'm such a newbie to this I'm kind of wondering how you guys are opening girls on here, what is your initial message? Do you just send them a standard "Hey what's up how's it going?", and run things like standard text game, or do you start off with a joke, comment on their pics, profile, etc.?

I deleted my account earlier. I may restart it in a few months. I rarely got any decent matches...and some chicks on there waste your time.

Ok I did a bit of delicate Tindering. In other words I went on and swiped 30 profiles per hour. This avoids the swipe wall and the bot flag.

What I am seeing is many blank profiles, a few fleshed out profiles and few matches. Of which they never talk back which leads me to think its a bot or the profile was deleted and remained intact. I also believe the blank profiles are deleted profiles but remain on the system to give men an incentive to stay. It was never like this.

It is quite de-motivating to see such results after the success I had with it all of last year.

As much as the powers that be of Tinder have completely ruined their product they're still business people and it's still in their best interest to keep as many customers as possible. With that being said my hope is they will see the error of their ways and reverse course in order to stop the hemorrhaging of legit users.

I'm hoping they will pull a Netflix and realize how greedy and stupid they became and go back to the way things were.

As mentioned above, a small fraction of matches come from nearby. The women in other regions and countries seem to match a lot more.

However, the profile keeps its fake GPS positions so that women near these cities know that you've paid to pretend to swipe in other locations. A major DLV.

I think I am going to get banned from Tinder. I have received my second infraction and I have one last strike.

I don't know what I've done other than post pictures from the net as memorable moments to stimulate messages from my 400+ matches. I've been unmatched but accused of being 'inappropriate' somehow.

I cannot upload any more pictures nor can I change my GPS position despite being Tinder+. My account is stuck in Stockholm and my match rate has collapsed.

This will just encourage everyone to lie about their age and put down they are 29. I used Tinder to good effect a year ago and got dozens of matches within a days period but I genuinely can't get any decent matches now. I've just deleted it and stuck to OKCupid. Although OkCupid and Match are owned by the same company, who also own a percentage ownership in Tinder and good luck to them with that investment as Tinder really are going down the pan.

I've also tried this new Tinder like app called Happn but there are barely any girls on there.
