Here's a cautionary tale for guys reading this who are even thinking about the Philippines as a wife destination without doing their homework. I had a girl that had my cock in her mouth just about an hour before showing me pics of her holding hands with some "suitor" in Europe. This slightly older gentleman (40's) looked completely respectable too, suit and tie, and took her to a lot of interesting places in his home country.

Here she was 60ish minutes ago in my condo sucking me off and doing the piledriver on my floor now waxing poetic about her relationship. She wasn't some urchin either but middle class and otherwise "respectable" by filipino standards.

Just think about this for a minute. Think carefully.

Ok. There was a woman already married that wanted me to do her in front of her husband. We were texting for a long time while I was right there in her city, Davao. But after all that I actually decided I did not want to do it. I was curious and interested to 'try something new and exotic' but the fear of going about doing it overtook my curiosity so I stopped texting her. I gave her an excuse I already had a girlfriend even though I had none, just so she would not be offended for me not wanting to do it anymore. I have already decided I don't want to even try that kind of set-up, doing a woman in front of her husband. I think it is actually too 'hard core' for me and I hought I was a more crazy person. I might be a wimp, but I withdrew my interest from it. There are things I could try in life, but this is not one of them. I message her occasionally on skype. She seems to not want to stop all contact. But I am not up for doing that thing with her now.

There was a girl same age as me that kept staring at me on the subway in Toronto like I have never seen a girl stare and I knew what she was thinking. I saw the expression on her face as she threw down a newspaper next to her. I think it was a bit of a cue. I should have gone for the contact, but I was totally new to the game so I did not understand. I only realized it some time later. My approach anxiety is too high in Toronto but this proves this kind of stuff exists with people in Toronto. If I had less anxiety and already had what I learned from social skills in the Philippines, I would have gone ahead with something.

It seems like you only log in on during U.S. hours why is that??

Also, you don't seem to read and comprehend which is the standard characteristic of the borderline retarded western sow.

I wonder why ???

It is actually because I read online to reduce the effects of jet lag, you start shifting your daily schedule to adapt to the time change. I am changing by many time zones moving back to Canada so I really started shifting my times now. I leave to Canada tomorrow. So I need to be done adapting my body clock. It sounds weird, but it was a strategy recommended to me on many sites to prevent jet lag. I will be mostly ready to deal with the time change as soon as I am in Canada this weekend. It is useful, even if it is an inconvenience to me now, cuz once I am there, I am ready to start right off the bat to do the things I need to do there.

RE: The Philippines thread
I'm going to offer a differing opinion on Filipinas.

1. Most of the guys here go to the same area of the same city and fuck the same girls from the same clubs and sites. No offense, but when a guy can post up 5 pics in a datasheet and you have 3 guys immediately chime in that they've fucked one or more of those same girls, come on. You're managing to all fuck the same 100 girls in a country with over 50 million of them.

If you're here for a short trip, get pussy where you can (you know I do Laugh), but to then extrapolate your experiences with Tinder sluts in Manila and groupies in Boracay onto the entire population is ridiculous. Those girls are nothing like what you find in most of the country.

When your whole travel and game style is built around finding girls who are very interested and easy, why would you be surprised when that's what you find?

2. For every anecdote in this thread about scandalous Filipinas, I can offer one about girls who I've been on multiple dates with and couldn't even get a kiss on the cheek, very cute girls that are still virgins in their mid-20s, girls who I've talked with online (social media) for hours and couldn't get their number, etc.

3. For the guys recommending, say, China, would you suggest that a guy go to China and look for a wife without knowing any Mandarin at all? I would assume not, yet no one bothers to learn any of the native language in the Philippines, even though it's infinitely easier. Most guys are so oblivious that they don't even realize the majority of Pinoys hate speaking English. Even the girls who are fluent in English often don't like to speak it for prolonged periods and don't use it as their language of choice among friends and family.

Am I saying that someone should get married at 25? Am I saying you should spend only 6 months searching for a wife? Am I saying that the Philippines is the ideal place to find a wife?

No, no, not really, thought I really don't fault a man for settling down young since that falls in line with the so-called traditional values that this forum supposedly stands for. And you DEFINITELY should not be dating women with kids.

But I'm frequently astonished that a fairly socially aware group continually misses the forest for the trees when it comes to this country. Of course, many will ignore this entire post because it doesn't fit their worldview, but I feel the need to offer a different and more realistic viewpoint.

To be frank, I think a lot of mindanao's (the poster, not the region) opinions to be a little out there, but the truth is he's seen more of the Philippines than 99% of this forum has and will ever. Though extremely naive in some ways, his viewpoint is that of someone who's spent more time in areas like General Santos, CDO, Cotabato, etc. than Manila or Boracay, so obviously his perspective is drastically different than guys who have barely ventured outside of Makati other than to bang some chick from Filipino Cupid.

If you stay off dating sites, steer clear of Makati, Mango Square (or whatever is the main area of Cebu), Boracay, learn some Tagalog, and build a social circle, I have no doubt that you could find a very conservative and cute girl here that would make a fine wife.

Yes I was in Davao that time and around that time was walking quite often to a store across from the post office as I was living in Davao. So it is very likely it was me.

Ok thanks I will consider that for the next time I can get to the Philippines. I know Makati is not the best place to go looking for a wife. I got this feeling that the best place to find a wife with good values and honest is in western Mindanao. Maybe eastern Mindanoa is not as great for that. Western Mindano They seem like the more loyal kind. And there is nothing wrong with finding one from muslim Mindanao lol One positive is that they seem a lot less less likely to be trouble makers with good morals. Feel free to go to any city in Cotabato region and you will see how good they behave. It seems like the region where the rebels behave worse, the general populatoin behaves better.

On another note. I just messaged a filipina in Toronto on badoo. And her reply was "keep looking" and nothing else. What happens to people once they cross that border? jeez! it's terrible!

I'm not saying there's necessarily anything inherently wrong with Makati. But it just doesn't make sense for guys to think they're going to find "simple", family oriented girls in abundance in the country's financial center, especially when you consider how the country's economy and government is set up. Just like if you were looking for a wife in the US (tard), Manhattan and Washington DC wouldn't be your first choices.

Girls go to those places for "opportunity", whether that's a career or the cock carousel, not to be a good little conservative girl with strong family values. Those are also going to be the girls most brainwashed on American/Western culture.

Regarding Cotabato, I'd pay attention to the news, if I were you. I know you've been there before, but that was during a fairly peaceful period in the region. This is probably the worst time to go back. As I pointed out earlier, it is a literal war zone as of the past month.

And between the BIFF and NPA being pushed out, tensions between the MILF, MNLF, and government over the Mamasapano incident, and the passing/not passing of the Bangsmoro Basic Law, it's all but guaranteed that shit is going to hit the fan very hard in the coming months.

I respect the hell out of your experiences in the P.I. Engima but I do think this needs to be looked at more closely.

A lot of Filipinas are conservative on the exterior. I'm not someone with WGF..i'm the "safe" option for some filipinas..foreign but not obviously western. Chino but not filipino. I get a lot of girls on that borderline who are just as promiscuos as the club rats but in private with social circles. The only difference is that they limit it to a few people they like and trust exclusively for obvious social reasons.

I agree with everything else you've said but I do think Mindano is taking us for a ride. I've been in the P.I. backwater areas as well (mostly for scuba) but the fact this guy was outright advocating for a terrorist zone is sketchy enough. His general posting history smells of b.s. with maybe some real world P.I. experience but lots of trolling.

Yeah, there are definitely girls who put on the conservative act to keep up cultural and social appearances and are not really like that, but there are also girls who actually are conservative, barely go out, spend most of their time with family, etc.

I just think this idea that all Filipinas just bend over and spread their pussy the moment a "young and tall white guy" shows up, regardless of whether they're married or not, is completely ridiculous.

Also, is a girl who has had a lot of sex but between only a few sexual partners that bad? I mean, are the guys in China and Vietnam dating virgins?

Well, I believe he's mentioned before that he has some extreme social awkwardness going on.

And for the record, I don't really see the Muslim regions of the Phils as "terrorist zones". The MILF and MNLF are currently working with the government to push out the more extremist rebel groups, and there are laws being debated to allow them the freedoms they have fought for.

Those people have populated that region and practiced Islam for the past 500 plus years, before Catholicism was introduced or Mindanao was even a part of the republic. Not to mention how corrupt the government itself is.

The issue goes a lot deeper than "terrorism", and most in Mindanao, Christian or Muslim, believe that the current government is unfair for everyone outside of Manila. That's why many are pushing for the next president to be from the region, particularly Davao's mayor, because they will want to introduce federalism.

I guess central west Mindanao is turning volatile so there are many places you can't go but south Cotabato province isn't really like Cotabato or Maguindanao. Anything near General Santos is decent still. This resurgence of violence sure will take a hit on the region. You know what this means for the hopes of economic upturn in Mindanao. Things still cna't move forward cuz now it is worse than it was in recent times in the past.

And I see what you mean about those city places. If you want family oriented, obviously there is plenty to be found in rural Mindanao. you have a lot of choice in Davao del Sur. Guaranteed you can find very well behaved ones in a town like Padada, a coconut plantation town. I can measure the decency of behaviour on tendecies to ask for Money. This happens a lot right within the city boundaries of Davao. None of those raised in the farm communities like Padada or Digos were like that.

Actually I am not trolling about Cotabato city. It is not actually advisable to go into Cotabato. Every week there is a bunch of jeepneys with very outgoing girls only filling them up. they come from Cotabato city on Mondays and you find them sitting across from Mandaya hotel. This is a good way to get to know girls from the right age group right from Cotabato city. This is NOT trolling. They are decent and you get to know them right in Davao city. Anyone that has been in Davao for a while might have noticed these jeepneys there every Monday morning and evening around 5 pm. If you have not yet, you can go there any Monday at 5 or 6 pm and talk to them. They are nice. they are much more open to talking to than even the locals in Davao it seems.

I think one reason why filipinas from the region might be better is the way they were raised. It is the complete opposite of the drunken Makati or Cebu. Muslim is more strict culture. I noticed how much decency there appeared to be from the people in Cotabato. I texted girls fro there and this is the only subgroup that had the decency to also never ask for money. These people are great. So it is good to choose from there. the only cost to choosing the region is the terrorist presence and as i said, this disadvantage can be bypassed by simply meeting them in Davao like from a group of Cotabato girls in those jeepneys on Mondays.

I recommend someone that will be in Davao actually try it out. Go on a Monday to the corner that has Mandaya hotel on one opposite and a sound system/electronics store on the other opposite corner and look for the jeepneys filled up with only girls sitting inside and waiting (NW corner up the street a bit in the direction of Peoples park). You can talk to the girls there and see how it turns out. They all come from Cotabato region. You will notice the difference for sure. Sometimes a group from in there is more than happy to go with you to people's park to take pictures with them. I don't have a chance to try meeting them soon cuz I will be leaving soon to go to Canada. but some time later when I am back in the Philippines I will go back to that corner to meet someone new from there.

RE: The Philippines thread
I should also make note that not all of them you meet from there are Muslim. Some are catholic too, but similar personality common to the region. but people from the Philippines that know me do know I am interested in Cotabato region as a kind of Adventure. It is a very interesting experience. You just have to be careful, but can still enjoy the cultural experience. As Enigma said, I was there in the past when it was peaceful period. So of course I have a good opinion on it. I was lead to believe that things were getting better and better, but only this year, things suddenly took a wrong turn there. Now with the resurgence of violence, the area might need to lose attention for a time. Until it returns to the peace from the past. I swear to the bible that Sultan Kudarat has the most spectacular beaches in all the Philippines and I told people from Canada I was getting ready to go there. Maybe after the violence is gone and I come back to the Philippines, I can go and experience it. Mindanao is the first place I will choose to go when I com back there. I don't "advocate for terrorist regions" wait till the violence is gone and then try unspoilt safe places or wait to find people from there in Davao. That aside, anywhere I know in Mindanao is safe, I will go. I have never felt threatened even once walking in any kind of place and I actually never felt at home in so many parts of a big region like I do in Mindanao.

I have one more thing to point out though. Someone I know in Luzon corrected me saying Mindanao was actually an archipelago. I do believe they are correct, but they also said it was only that and that Mindanao is not an island, just archipelago. Can anyone verify this? I am pretty sure that Mindanao is both of them and refers to the archipelago and the main island itself which can be ALSO called "island of Mindanao"

Yeah, Mindanao (the place, not you. -.-') is definitely an island. An archipelago is a group of islands. So, the Philippines is an archipelago. Luzon and Mindanao are actual islands. The Visayas is an archipelago.

Now, if you look at the *region* of Luzon and Mindanao, then yes, they would be considered archipelagos... as a region will include all the tiny little islands around them.

I was invited to one but didn't go, probably will go next time. One guy I met blows like $150 USD per month, a big portion of their family income, on his fighting chickens. His family even complained that he spends more money on his chickens then his kids.

It's a huge part of the culture. And quite the experience. They tend to be very popular in provinces like Batangas, but I'm sure you can find something closer to Manila these days.

I've been to a few in the Philippines and while the atmosphere is pretty interesting, the fights aren't much. Most last about 20-30 seconds.

I would love to have gone. How do you find where/when fights will be?

Seems like Sunday afternoon is prime time. Here's a decent article about seeing a cockfight in Valencia near Dumaguete. I bet if you ask around in any town on a Sunday the locals can direct you to a fight. Every third shop is a feed store selling gamecock supplies. Their chicken feeds are marketed like our sports drinks.

Here's a cockfight I shot in Dumaguete. I found myself identifying with the loser bird and got depressed. Afterward, I ate some fried chicken.

Ask around, most people should know...especially taxi/motorbike drivers or other members of the lower class. Your Filipina chick can also call someone and find out. It seemed to be on different days depending on the island.

RE: The Philippines thread
I was invited to go to Sinulog by a couple of Filipinas 2 months ago. I passed on it thinking it was more of a cultural festival than a party. Now looking at these videos, it looks like I passed on the Philippines version of Mardi Gras. Dodgy Guess I will catch the epic party/cultural festival, next year.

All the birds are juicing too. I met a girl in Cebu whose father sold steroids for cock fighting.

While living there I would walk by a guy that was holding and rubbing down the birds nearly everyday.

I finally stopped and asked him what he was doing and he said "I massage the cocks so they are relaxed and ready to fight." Laugh

Gotta keep your birds juiced up and limber for the fights.

@Calwinston

Yeah, you should check out Sinulog. It's a blast and people from all over the country come for it.

The downside is that the city is gridlock and booked up for most of the week. If you decide to go plan ahead and lock something down.

Philippines VISA Breakdown in One Easy Chart

There's a lot of confusion out there about how VISAs work in this country. Trying to figure it out on a government website is nearly impossible.

I pulled this chart from the Cebu Expat Services site.

IMO this site is the best resources I've found in the Phils for this type of info. The owner, Paul, is also extremely helpful and honest. I used his service for 6 months while living in Cebu.

In Manila I do my own VISA renewals. I tried one service here but got ripped off for 2500 pesos (said they were going to get my ACR but never did).

Here's the chart:
