With that in mind it really doesn't matter much because it pulls in girls from far and wide. I think 50 miles is the lowest radius. If you look at their profile however you'll see listed the specific city they live in. Copy and paste that into maps to see how close it is to the Fort. You can also keyword search but not too many girls on FC (more on Tinder) live in the Fort so I'm not sure if it's helpful. And, people call the Fort, BGC, Global City, etc., so it might be hard to get exact matches.
No - you can select Makati. And you can select only IN makati, not within 50 km. You do it by selecting the dash. This really, really helps cut down on the women who can't make it makati because they're too far.
Screenshot:
Ah, good call. My bad.
I think I would still pick 50 miles though. I mean, what if the girl lives in Taguig, Pasay, Pasig, QC, etc., which are bordering Makati? Do they not show at all?
Depends what you're optimizing for. I was just tired of chatting with girls who would at the end of the chat be like "no, I can't meet you, I'm too far" even though they're technically within 50 miles. 50 miles is a long way in Manila traffic.
I'd rather shrink the pool a little bit and just screen for the girls who are closer. So I have a few saved searches - the Makati search, the Pasay search, the Taguig search and the Magdaluyaun (sp) search. So instead of doing Makati + 50 miles, I just have the 4 districts a separate searches. So that way I eliminate the girls from QC (too far) as well as other further districts.
Its in Taguig City. You can't search the Fort, but you can search Taguig, which is frankly an enormous area. Many girls wouldn't have the financial wherewithal to have a place in the Ft. and those who do probably are not mostly on FC. That said, any girl in Taguig will know how to get to High St, Market Market, and the SM Mall. Makati is actually closer to High St. than some parts of Taguig, depending on traffic and timing though.

FC lets you search in Manila, Makati and other cities/municipalities in that region, but I don't even know where Fort Bonifacio is located. One of the girls from previous trip told me that both Makati and Manila claim it or something.
Chaos: great that Tinder works for you. When I was there, I had some technical problems with Tinder and just ran out of girls to swipe. I downgraded to an older version of Tinder, so will try it this time again.
Found this interesting and promising video about the future look of Manila. How is the likelihood of such a project coming to fruition knowing all the inefficiencies of the Pinoys?
What do you guys who have been living and working with Pinoys think of the viability of such a project?

I've never seen this, but I do know they intend to break ground on a new airport within a couple years. There are two main proposals, one from San Mig and a American firm, and the other a Japanese firm. Both put the airport in the bay.
Wild guess: I would anticipate unfathomable delays more than doubling time to usability, due to obscure reasons having to do with crony wars over who gets the contracts.
1) Double to triple the anticipated time frame to the start,
2) 2.5x the anticipated time frame for construction to completion,
3) add on a year for acquisition of things that should take three weeks and the arrogant rulers fight of over the last available pork.
There is a airport to the south that is far from the city it should serve, and it took them something like a year to buy the landing lights so they couldn't use it for a whole year just because of missing one thing. In wealthy countries landing lights are installed in a couple months.
My Projection--
slated to start in 2 years-- may start in 4-6
construction to take 3 years--will take 6
Add 1 unnecessary year for final maneuvers for last port distribution-
So:
Original estimate: 4 years (2 plan 2 build)
Actual Completion: 10 years ( 4 plan 5 build 1 last pork fight year)
EDIT PRo-FILIPINO WORKERS: I should add however if you pay the Filipinos they will be out there in the crushing tropical sun breathing murderous Manila air, working day and night for relatively shit pay and getting it done. They are basically amiable and cooperative people. It's the entrenched plutocracy that insists on keeping 9.8 cents of every dime and not doing a fucking thing for the people, who are enormously likable.
I lived next to where they were building expensive condos and at night I could see them welding rebar , and on Sundays too....
But none of those workmen will probably ever live in a building like that, just us foreigners and plutocrats.

Yep, you're exactly right. There's a battle on who will get the contract.
San Mig says the Government won't have to pony up anything and they'll cover all the costs, provided they get to lease it for 35 years. The other option with the Japanese firm is all Gov money. Anyone want to guess which wins? ha.

The chances of this happening in Manila 2030 are still higher than the likelihood of this occurring in Brazil by year 3000.......
Hey guys! Seems a lot of you are in Manila and will be there mid February as well. I am flying in on the day of love, Feb 14. I am leaning towards staying in The Fort. I will probably only stay in Manila for 2 nights and then come back at the end of February before I fly back to Korea. I'd love to meet up with any of you guys who are there at the same time. I met up with some guys when I was in Bangkok and it was awesome.
This JP Morgan/Brookings institute study recently came out and ranks economic performance of cities. The data is more about real GDP and employment so of course certain types of cities will perform way better. For example Macau..which takes in more money than Las Vegas due to specialized "industry" and is also ranked #1
China's second and third tier cities are killing it.
Developed cities have lower growth just like how developed countries have lower annual growth which is normal.

Come on. Brazil makes the Philippines look like a backwater country in comparison.
Should I choose Thailand or The Philippines when I'm traveling to Asia for the first time ever? I'm thinking of getting cheap plane tickets for late 2015, can spend 1-2 months there.
Game wise I'm definitely a nice guy, if that makes a difference. Not into clubbing or drinking really, I prefer hiking and photography etc.

Why don't you book tickets to BKK and a hotel for the first few days and take it from there? 1-2 months is more than enough to do both.

If banging girls is priority #1 ----> Philippines
Otherwise go with Thailand. If hiking and photography is your thing then spend more time in the north like Chiang Mai and Pai.

After seeing ten or so chicks here in the last couple months I've started to notice this question.
What the fuck is she, my financial advisor? I think I've spotted an extreme gold-digger tell. Of course they're all gold diggers if you're not a YoungTallCool God but this looks like full on planning-for-the-divorce-in-advance.
Anyone else run into this?
I only ever got this question from girls in NYC. My impression was they were sizing up my financial status. I felt it was a rude thing to ask and said something about her character.

Smart girl - she's sizing you up to see if you're a hit and run tourist.
If you ever care about any of these girls and want to give them good advice, the advice I give my female Pinay friends is to never fuck a young tourist.
No matter how well you think you can fuck him, he's not going to miss his plane home for you.

To any Pinays reading this:
Disregard what Dagnasty said, he's unfairly stereotyping us young tourists.
If I make a move on you at 4:00PM on a Tuesday two hours after meeting you and watching TV at my rented apartment, it's not because I'm going for the quick zero date bang so I can get you out of there and grab dinner before I rinse (literally) and repeat with another girl at 7:00--it's because I am just so overcome with emotion that I cannot help myself.
I'm sure your particular brand of "simple," "kind," "family-oriented," or "God-fearing" will win me over and I will be compelled to forgo my current/future dalliances with white girls and latinas, and future careers to stay in the Philippines with you.
We will get married, have kids that are much smarter than you and much dumber than me; our winsome family will alternate our holidays between Boracay, Batangas, and whatever boondocks or province your extended family is from.
If you text me after the initial zero date bang and I don't answer, I promise it's because I temporarily don't have load, and not because I'm ignoring you until you give up and move onto getting pump and dumped by the next young gringo.

Thats pretty much my opinion as well. Stay near Marco Polo/Mandarin Oriental Hotel just by Ayala. You can get to Mango walking 15-20 minutes or just take a quick taxi.

Booked a really cheap flight to Manila in November. Let's see what's it like.
Prices seem cheap for a per month place, and its right down the street from the big mall. I'm just hesitant that they would have a shitty guest policy because in the second link where theres some pictures of the front entrance it says "non tenants not allowed".
