Met a girl a year ago, we hit it off pretty well. Made out a couple of times. I misinterpreted her silence for non-interest. I was quite disappointed because she's a solid 9 and I had high (too high) expectations for her character.

Tonight, had a date planned as well, and when I texted to "confirm", all I got was uncharacteristic radio silence. Deleted her number after the time of our scheduled date passed. Didn't waste any time going to the date location. I actually enjoyed the time to myself at home, though.

True, we have previously discussed about going out which she showed interest however we never established an official day/time. So, that was me trying to set it up. I asked her in Spanish cause she is Venezuelan and we have been texting in English & Spanish all the time.

My current SOP is no texting with fuckbuddies.

I flat out say: "Texting is fucking gay and I don't do it. If you wanna chat, dialing is quicker than texting. Plus you have the phone surgically attached to your hand anyway."

This sets the tone and I end it with a semi-attempt at humor. It also separates you from the rest of the sheeple that text.
