To follow-up, ended up closing out with 7 notches in 8 nights in Manila, ranged from 6 - 8's.

I usually don't do 6 handles, but Philippine girls are such expert photo-takers and I got bamboozled several times. I mean, if a 6 shows-up at my apartment, I may as well bang her out--as it's too late to kick her out and replenish that time slot.

All the girls except one of the 7.0s were materially less attractive than their photos, like >= 1 point on the 1-10 scale. One of the 6.0's was a facial model of sorts but was a bit chubby and I was quite disconcerted. I did kick out a 5.0 (looked like a 7.5+ in one of her make-up laden photos, and I rolled the dice) after a drink and trying to ply information from her about Pinays.

It was my own fault, I over-relied on online dating. Jet-lagged and ball-drained, I barely made it out at night (only went to a nightclub once, and the 8.0 was with me).

Next time in Manila I will stay longer and rely more on night-game.

CARTOON TECHNO AND FUN KIDS

Had a great and surrealistic experience in a Mall grocery store in the Philippines last night. It's a second rate store, not in Ayala or SM, but has reasonable assortment. As a somewhat narcissistic and snobby guy, this is great therapy for me to not be so self-important and condescending.

First I walk into the place and they're playing something that sounds like chipmunks having a delightful time doing --something?-- over an uptempo techno beat composed of toy-instrument sounds like little bells and cheap cymbals. Cheap, eager synthesizer bleeps drive the whole hilarious thing forward. It's a little loud but not painfully so like in a nightclub.

The music has a ridiculous singsong melody and the chiming, tiny-sounding instruments and chipmunk vocalists just make it sound funny and happy as hell. Despite my grouchiness I kind of smile inside.

Then I start to notice the Filipinos dancing.

I'm in sort of a depressed cloud, and I'm walking through this place, and the girl workers, and customers, individually and on their own, each occasionally start dancing a little bit to the chipmunk beat. I hope the song doesn't end.
They're grooving on it, with that charming innocent smile Filipinos sometimes have. It feels like being on a strangely friendly planet to me.

As I walk along a group of three young guys about 9-12 in school uniforms come walking out of an aisle and are smiling, obviously enjoying the evening. I smile at them, and they smile back ingenuous smiles and say brightly and politely "Good Evening!" and bop along to the Chipmunk Beat.

I'm too grouchy to speak, but am charmed.
This continues as I wander about trying to pick out food. People dance a few beats here and there, not worrying about looking "cool" or sophisticated. This could never, ever happen, in, say, a Whole Foods or Safeway in America. We're strictly business.

Out story reaches its climax when I arrive at the checkout counter and the group of three young boys comes over to the counter and starts talking to the checkout girl.

I am worried they are going to try to mooch money off me as some children have here. I feel a little suspicious, but say hi.

Then I realize they are redeeming a tiny cardboard coupon that gives them a discount on some candy they have pooled their money to buy. I see the cashier ring in the coupon, they hand her their pooled money, and she gives them a receipt.

I want to redeem myself after being suspicious, so I congratulate them.
"You scored!" I smile at them. Having secured their small but precious loot, they greet me back in their delight and wander off on their escapades.
The checkout girl is smiling too.

Sometimes you can really learn something from people with nothing.

Sometimes you can be given something by people who have very little.

Good tip calwinston. Actually I have found that you don't even need to be in Philippines for this to work. Just change the current location on your profile to Manila and the pricing changes too. Takes about 10 minutes to update, I think.

Surely rating of the physical attraction is fairly subjective, but I think guys establish scales and communicate in terms of scales to share subjective impressions.

I guess that the video chick is about 5' 3" (160cm), and I would put her as a total package at about an 8 or maybe a little higher. Maybe I agree that she is lacking a little curve in the hips, but I am pretty happy when I am able to bang 8+ girls... and for me, maybe I don't even give a shit too much if girls are higher on the scale than 8 because i doubt that it would make my dick very much harder, and probably I begin to consider that maintenance of girls higher on the scale would go up when the chicks get higher to these higher scale levels.

Thanks to the 3 above who replied. So I guess I learned 2 things based on this, send messages a lot more and be old lol Well anyways, I set my profile as 28, but I am 25. I learned that because I am still technically at the "top of the food chain" as said in this forum, for age and looks etc, waiting for interests to be sent is totally not needed. Sometimes girls here are extremeley shy, it's the more subtle social cues that take/make.

I ask clerks at the store "How are you?" and they just smile and look down. I got frustrated about how they never respond but it's a feature not a bug.

Yes, you have lots of time, usually the hotter more Westernized chicks have 40-45 as their upper limits, SOME have 35, and even fewer have 30.

I'm def getting blown out for being too old (late 50s) , very few 8+'s respond to me , mostly chicks with children which I don't want to deal with.

I don't think we should take for granted that the phils will be the same in 15 years.
My predictions are
1) most people in the phils will have access to modern tech and will seem more educated
2) more and more people will migrate to the cities
3) the government will be significantly less corrupt - because the current rich 30-40 year old generation that is sick of the corruption will gain power
4) the problem with single motherhood in the phils will be so great that the country can not ignore it, maybe even the catholic church will weaken its stance against contraception

I think that as the third world countries develop women in those countries will follow the global trend of preferring men closer in age to themselves since they will no longer depend on men economically.

Often one of the reasons phillipinas prefer foreigners is that the local men are often huge cheaters. As the economy improves the local men will be weighed down with boring testosterone reducing jobs and stop cheating as much. This will reduce one of the reasons phillipinas look to foreign men for stability.

I agree with a lot of points but here's one thing - it will be incredibly easy to nail a 30+ single Pinay in 10 years.

They will play media politics and make face donations from time to time but the young and middle aged rich are just as spoiled, short sighted, and venal. Just observe how they mention the "masses" with utter and complete disdain.

Mindanao, you have plenty of time in SEA but I recommend visiting East Asia (Japan, Korea etc) NOW if you are interested in those countries and their women. While age differences are more tolerated than the West, some young hot girls are starting to turn their noses up at older men. Slightly off topic but just throwing it out there!

I too don't see the Philippines economy improving by leaps and bounds. The majority of Filipinos don't have the drive and entrepreneurial spirit that the country needs. I think most Filipinos are hard workers but something culturally limits them from taking it to the next level and building up from it. I think the majority of Filipinos are just in survive and get by mode, not concerned about conquering the world or concerned about living in a big mansion with lots of shit. If the majority of people are this way and happy with it, I don't see them or the economy stepping up. Another factor mentioned is corruption and government, both things working against the common man.

It is a big contrast compared to the United States or China where the majority aspire to an even better life, bigger house, best car, make more money, etc. Sure Filipinos maybe have aspirations of a better life but don't have the drive to see it through.

You've got a point here, 15 years is a lifetime for broadband Chick Crack to spread. There is already a VERY clear difference when you're dealing with a girl who has broadband and/or smartphone access compared to one from the provinces who may have a smartphone but only has periodic, brief internet access on it. May girls ONLY have voice and texting, voice is too expensive for them to use and texting doesn't dangle pictures of 28 year old Apex Alphas in front of them to distort their expectations.

The Philippines has the benefit of turning us overly solicitous types into dicks. I was just sick of their texting and

I agree with you and I would narrow it down to three factors..ambition, discipline, and specialized education. The Philippines simply doesn't have a critical mass of people with all 3. When people like this do exist they quickly fall through the cracks or get dragged down by others around them. The infamous filipino crab mentality kicks in.

The ones with good supportive families tend to do well but then they also come to the most logical conclusion that it's better just to go abroad.

Another problem is that with all these big families it means that the most productive members end up footing the bill for the layabouts. This family dynamic of supporting the useless members is quite different from how NE Asian families do it.

Even with all the significant cultural flaws filipinos have they are still decent folk in my book. Their annoying (and self destructive) traits are outweighed by the positive.
