Something I took from the red pill is the idea of setting a standard for societal habits.

I've decided to create the following list of traits not to knock down people, but to identify behaviour that we can help uplift:

1. Overusing the words "like", "but", and "sorry".

2. Lack of eye contact when talking.

3. Dragging your feet when walking.

4. Dressing like a bag of shit -- especially with suits.

5. Taking photos of your food.

6. Using your mobile phone while being served.

7. Snapping your fingers/whistling to get someone's attention.

8. Nudging or bumping people out of the way.

9. Neglecting to thank people.

10. Talking to people with earphones on.

2. Stopping in front of the line at a stop light, off the sensor.

3. Writing checks at the grocery story, not even bothering to fill it out until the last item is scanned.

These are less societal habits, more about personal behavior and conduct. Principle still applies I think:

People who say one thing and then do the opposite, or do nothing.

People who say they're going to do something, and then "forget". Not keeping their word basically.

People who say one thing to you in private and then contradict it in public.

People who agree with your stance during a conflict, then fuck you over for the opposing party at the first opportunity.

People who don't have a backbone. People who can't just take a god damn stance on something, based on established values of what is right and wrong, and come out with "grey area" bullshit.

People who blatantly suck up to or imitate you to ingratiate themselves to you. False fucking bullshit. I want to know someone for who they actually are. Its that whole idea of differences being complimentary, on a somewhat smaller scale.

There are more that don't come to mind. The above things apply to a large amount of people that I've known.

I hate men who talk a lot.

I despise men who tip off what other men told them in a private conversation to women. They have to be absolutely the greatest scum of the earth.

I hate wolfpacks and the way men behave when in wolfpacks. Wolfpacks degrade every man.

Attributing any meaning to your choice of drinks. Vodka ? You must be progressive. Whisky ? Try hard. Gin ? Gay. Seriously, i sometimes think that beer industry is behind this drink shaming. And I see people of all ages doing it, from 7 to 77. Retarded.

Some of my friends act all 'cute' to chicks telling them how they want to cuddle etc.. And then complain when they don't (and I do) get the bang.

People who believe that same sex marriage should be legal and that if you don't agree you should be punished, yet at the same time have their tongues right up Muslim's arses. They don't know that a religion which they are told to praise by fellow progressives is at least, and usually more, homophobic than the church.

I also genuinely believe most progressives just go to protests and write Facebook statuses about 'ethical' issues do it to look like a nice person.

Agree 100% on the drinks. A lot of times, I actually want my alcohol to taste good. I've proven my manhood too many times when it mattered to have to prove it to some weak sister that thinks he's manly because he drinks whiskey.

When someone tries to call me on it, I riddle them "What does the 300lb silverback gorilla drink?"

"What?"

"Whatever the fuck he wants!"

And then I down my sweet fruity drink.

I cannot stand when you are out with your friends and they are glued to their phones like teenage girls. No man should be giggling to himself while on his phone in the company of other men. When you are out to have a beer with friends, you should be conversing with them.

I also hate people that all they can talk about is their jobs. This is especially annoying when most of your friends work in the same industry as you. The last thing I want to talk about when I am out with friends is work.

Not returning or acknowledging legitimate & simple texts or emails (as in "did you find my iPod that I left in your car?")

Constantly being stuck in phones when there's everything going on if they just left their head.


...now that I think about it, a lot of this applies to both girls AND guys from the millennial generation - honestly, a lot of guys are know are just as bad with entitlement, flaking and not acknowledging a simple text! LOL!

Lately I've been profoundly annoyed by flaky behaviour/unresponsiveness in men. I mean have some honour. That's what girls do.

In the end though it is understandable. In any personal relationship between two people one person will want the other more than the other wants them, and the 'wanted' will take whatever liberties they can in this superior position.

My biggest pet peeve is indecisiveness. I work on a sales desk for an investment bank and it is testosterone filled with quick decision makers. However a few nights during the week and weekends I manage a restaurant (eventually want to own my own) and so many of the male customers take so long to make a decision and will then ask their gf/wife/ date about what they eat/drink, they cant make decisions by them self.

I love it when you've been standing in line at McDonald's for 5 minutes (back when there used to be lines at McDonald's) and when the person in front of you gets to the register they start looking at the menu as if they just touched down from Mars and have never been to a McDonald's before.

"Let's see," you can hear them saying in their heads "I wonder if they have hamburgers."

That's a classic.

But there's nothing worse than people being late. You find someone who cares enough about your time to be on time themselves, that's a rarity anymore.

When people don't hold the door open for you when they definitely knew you were behind them just a short distance. It's as if they are too socially awkward to do it so they pretend as if they didn't know you were coming behind them so it appears to you they really didn't know (but of course, I do know). If that makes sense.

I remember there was once a post here about whether it was beta or not to hold the doors open for girls..

Even if it was, I'm a beta in this regard because if someone is noticeably close to me I will always hold the door open for them, cute girl ugly girl or guy. It's common courtesy, I'm sure I'm not the only one.
