Try slightly changing your profile (like switching the order of 2 pictures) and slightly changing your preferences (+/- 5 miles). It usually prods the app to update your location too.

I haven't posted much on this thread since last time but I will begin to. I'm getting pretty close to having a definitely guide for tinder. I'm currently working on cracking "moments" properly with the correct use of words and pictures. Some don't see it, but "moments" has a lot of potential for what I like to call, a "re-match".

There's been quite a few girls that I've successfully re-opened just because of the update. I'm talking girls who initially didn't respond to my first message.

This is app is gold if you know how to market yourself and see it all out.

If you just got the app, give it some time. As someone mentioned above, the girls tend to swipe at night and during the weekend (when they're looking for some side action). But, if you've had the app for a while and you haven't gotten any matches, I can help you out here.

Just answer these questions:
How many pictures do you have?
What are you doing in each picture? (this is very important)
What's does your bio contain?
What is your age and what is your specified age bracket on tinder? (the age bracket of the girls you decide to swipe on under settings)

It's a bit of a risky move if the girl has swiped left on you on Tinder and then sees you pop up on her IG. You might get the creep label. But I suppose if she's putting her IG on her Tinder for all to see (why do they do that?) then she doesn't mind either way?

I've always seen IG/Twitter handles on a girl's Tinder page as attention whoring. "I'll probably swipe left on you but feel free to follow me and stroke my ego on these other social media platforms!"

But if you're finding success, maybe there's something to it.

I think the tinder craze is coming to an end. Had way better results last year / early this year than now. Maybe something new is going on? It's not HotorNot...

After countless messages I have to say most of my tinder experience has been catfishes... and I don't bang that shit.

I guess i'm failing on the text game, but seriously - the cute girls are getting hundreds of messages. Impossible to stand out, it seems. Will reboot soon.

It takes time that's for sure. More important is what do your pics look like and what's your tagline state ?

By no means does my bio state I am relationship material nor does it imply it. It is quite provocative.

And yet I get matches from homely single mothers and women who dont want a sex buddy. These women are genuinely shocked when I say Tinder is an app for people to meet and fuck.

Youngblood you are the gawd of tinder so I'm going to take you up on your offer. I get 4-6 matches per month, but usually only 2 I'd actually want to contact (I only swipe right on 7+, however). The conversations with the hot ones either go nowhere or they block me after my opener. Here are my answers:

I realize talking about work was a bad idea but it seemed the obvious direction to go after the policy wonk comment--and I could see this girl is actually quite involved in federal politics, as am I, so it was a bit of a gambit. What else could I have done? Thanks in advance for your reflections.

I do not have a timeline, and I have a girl 7+ in all except 1 picture, some exotic backgrounds.

Every single girl who has matched with me (5 now) has not responded at all and un-matched with me. I've used some of YoungBlood's lines too

I've swiped about 400 now over 3 days in NYC.

I DM them, and follow them for a bit or request. If they dont respond or approve my request its a dead lead. The ones that start chatting approve me and respond to my DM. When I DM them I say something like, "hey, we matched on Tinder but I dont really use that app anymore, how's it goin'?" Or something dumb like that. In every instance none of them actually matched with me, I just say that. I usually reserve this for the hottest girls that pop up in my feed, if they have an IG handle. Surprisingly.. they are usually 20-25.
