Also I thought the general manosphere sentiment was that "she knows if she wants to bone within 5 seconds" rule is not entirely true? One of the blogs [Heartiste?] had a story about a not impressive looking guy walk up to their table, get incredulous looks of "why is he talking to me" from the hot chick, then used his frame control, non thirst/fawning, and aloofness to get the hot girl to reconsider -> then get very excited -> and then hook up with that dude.

If you're not good looking you can use style, and even without style you can use body language to immediately build attraction and maximize that initial window. But even then it can't always happen immediately, and game can be used in the above way to flip the script and surprise.

I think it's too easy to misinterpret what someone writes via text, so it's probably better to go direct to eliminate as much room for misinterpretation as possible. Texting isn't best way to have a conversation. It's best to use it for "this is what I'm going to do, this is where I'm going to be and when" messages.

I think there's something to the "she knows if she wants to bone within 5 seconds" rule, but nothing is absolute. With some women, they know early in the interaction IF you don't do something to fuck it up. With those women, it may be that they are actively looking for dick, so they are in that mode where they decide quickly. For others that don't blow her out of the water immediately with looks, all isn't lost. Psychological warfare can still get her hooked, namely by NOT doing what every other guy does with attractive girls. They're used to being fawned over, so yeah, not doing that can put her on her heels and put a guy in control of the interaction.

Is it possible to turn a no into a yes through social prowess alone?

I have heard of guys taking a maybe girl or even a "not now" girl and turning her into a yes girl, but never have I heard of a guy taking a no girl and turning her into a yes girl.

I'm sure this text game works for James Franco all the time because he is James Franco, but I do think it was a bit thirsty. It would never work for a regular guy. Peppering the girl with questions reeks of too much neediness and thirst. Especially after she sent him the text with three smiley faces where she was obviously down to meet up with him.

She was ready to meet up but his text game made her unconvinced he was James Franco and she lost attraction. She could have kept the interaction a secret and returned in six months for a fun affair with an older famous man. Instead she decided to out his thirsty game to the world.

I agree that if you are James Franco you go direct but not with a million questions. More along the lines off, "I'm James Franco, let's meet here at this hotel where I'm staying." If she says no, then, "thanks for coming to my show and good talking to you, hit me up next time you're in NYC."

That way even if you are exposed you come across as a fun, down to earth guy.
