I agree. Homophobia does not exist.

Homophobia is a misnomer. Homo + phobia = fear of the same. Well, what people usually call "homophobia" is exactly the opposite, a fear of what is different, so it should be called heterophobia instead. Or homosexualphobia.

However, I don't fear what is different. My reaction to physically deformed people, retards, effeminate men, masculine women, trannies, drag queens, and flaming homos is repulse, and it's an involuntary reflex. The word should be freakophobia, not homophobia. I have no problem with homosexual men who dress properly, act discreetly, and are manly. Their private life is not my concern.

While there is definitely something discriminatory against homosexuals in this thread's title, it's very true that the term "homophobia" is extremely overused in liberal circles and basically is now a label for any person that someone doesn't agree with.

So yes, this thread's title represents pointless heterosexism, and that actually means a lot more than saying it's homophobic.

That said, the topic at hand also makes me feel very uncomfortable because it is a symbol of the continued feminist invasion of everything. Some people might laugh off this change of wardrobe as coincidence, but I'm not so sure.
