I worked in the hospitality industry for a long time, in Aus, NYC and Toronto, one thing always in common is the staff see EVERYTHING, funny the shit you see when people are wasted. Alot of the fun for people working these jobs is to laugh and gossip often at the patrons expense. Best tip make friends with the club/ pub etc venue workers even just one or 2 of them (the rest will notice) I guess im just repeating pre selection game now, so i wont go on. Just saying how effective it can be, from someone who has seen it from the other side for a long time, ESPECIALLY good with younger girls.

I would say dont take dates to the same venue all the time if you can avoid it, unless you are friendly with the staff/regular patrons. The best part about traveling, you will usually be long gone before it matters anyway.

I don't see what they have to laugh about. Bartenders, busboys, dishwashers, and doormen ID Checkers are the lowest of the low - nothing more than servants who get paid next to minimum wage while the bar owner is pocketing $6.50 for every $7 drink sold. Get a real f'n job.

When it happens in the blink of an eye so quick like that it's tough. You can't exactly tag along (needy/weird vibe). They might have been going to the toilet together or some shit? It's essentially a lose-lose. And sometimes those situations are unavoidable.

I agree that it is hard to figure out what to do the first time it happens, which is why I asked about what to do the 2nd time it happens since it is kind of a common thing.

IMO yes tagging along may be interpreted as needy upon analysis, but if it's a hail-mary last effort what have you got to lose? Unless there's a better way that a forum member has devised?

Menace: There has been severeal occurences where my fuck up avoidance game has sucked actually, but I'm starting to get better at it now. I see the point of assuming all responsibility myself and like I said it was a mistake not to always carry condoms, but still, I never imagined something like that would happen and I don't think we as men should even implicitly accept cockblocking as a phenomenon, even though you're right we should prepare ourself to avoid it.
