The dawning realisation that once I understood female nature, from piecing together my own experiences, watching those of friends and reading various bits online etc - having a relationship with a woman now just seems a completely pointless and one sided affair.

The constant upkeep and pestering to meet their needs of attention and whatever else; with sex seemingly the only thing being offered in return. Our history is being rewritten.

Within 15 minutes of finding out what happened I was outside his house punching him in the face. He never fought back and apologised profusely. He told me that she lied about us still being together (she would break up with me multiple times a week) and knew it was a shitty thing to do but never intended to ever come between us.

I eventually forgave him because of events that happened after that night. It was clear that her plan was to destroy the friendship. I didn't want to give her the satisfaction.

Today, we laugh and joke about the whole situation over cold beers while chasing tale.

But at the same time, they also have higher standards (esp. for casual sex) and lower libidos, and they value attention more than sex.

I have a recent one:
I have this family friend which I warmly call my ‘uncle’.

His mother suddenly died 2 months ago without leaving behind a will and he found out she had a bank account which only his sister had access to. Apparently she proceeded to drain out all the funds on the same fucking day their mother died, without telling him or any other relative.
He only found out because when he went to his mother house to empty it out he saw a bank statement in the mail.

When he confronted her she justify it by saying she needed money for her son’s wedding. My uncle stopped talking to her after this.

Must suck knowing that your sister could be such a bitch for 20k euros. We are talking about 60+ years old people, so I guess the lesson is you never really know how money can take out the worst part of people even those you have called family all your life.

Yeah, death seems to bring out the worst between families, especially women.

I’ve seen it happen a few times now. When my Great Grandmother passed, my Great Grandfather shacked up with a woman in her 40’s (game recognized?). They never married so she couldn’t get at the estate, but when he passed she took everything that could be sold - tens of thousands in art and furniture and antique cameras, etc.

My Uncle and my Father were business partners, sort of - my Father did all the work and my Uncle enjoyed riding on the back of a faithful mule. My Uncle disappeared some 20 years ago (he got caught up in some extremely illicit business with some savage characters) and of course everything went to my Father. He spent half a million dollars over the course of a decade paying detectives and private investigators to comb the Middle East and South America searching. The news was grim from the start, but it was his Baby Brother and his money.

When my Aunt divorced her husband some 8 years ago she took my Father to court demanding half of my deceased Uncle’s estate. This woman who hated my Uncle - who was glad that he was gone. She would roll her eyes whenever my Grandmother mourned her lost son. She didn’t get a penny, thankfully, though it caused a huge rift in our extended family. Taking sides and all that. The patriarchs all sided with my Father, but all the aunts and uncles on the periphery went with my Aunt. A blessing in disguise, to no longer suffer serpents.

-Sometimes, people will not get you or understand your expieriences or understand you because they never had to go through the things you went through and they will not bother to understand it. They'll just tell you to suck it up without trying to look at it from your perspective. When talking to people, I listen to them and understand where they're coming from instead of just writing them off.

-Know your parents despite the things they did that helped or harmed you before they're gone for good- I never had the chance to know my dad because he was sick with cancer when I was 6, it came back when I started high school and they couldn't get it out so he died slowly and passed the beginning of my senior year. The only time we had together was movie time. I slowly came to the conclusion my mom is a narcissist from the expieriences my grandmother put on her and her siblings. I have some understanding of why she is what she is, but I will do my best to not replicate that. My dad also unfortnately was an enable for fear of divorce. My paternal grandparents are the same way; my grandmother is a senile person whose mind was destroyed by drinking and she barks at my grandfather and he just takes it because they still love each other.
