The conflict is between more moderate Dems that aren't afflicted with TDS and the more radicalized Leftists that are full blown authoritarians. AOC has now threatened the more moderate members saying that their names will be "added to a list" if they don't do as she says.

As much as I disagree with AOC in general, I gotta admit that she's a breath of fresh air, especially when she breaks the party line and isn't afraid to reject the notion of "falling in line".

It also continues to amaze me that Rep. Omar repeatedly gets the whole world to freak out by logically and tamely disagreeing with the United State's stance on Israel. I hope regular people can notice that there is one thing and one thing only that gets bipartisan support from our government.

Yes and no.

While she is right in questioning the party line when it came to the Iraq War, it's been reported that she herself has drawn up a "list" to target Democrats who side with Republicans on any issues. She plans on finding ways to make it difficult for them in their forthcoming primary races. (Barron posted a video about this a few comments ago.)

She also Tweeted support for Jussie Smollett and her Tweet pre-emptively shut down anyone who questioned the Smollett Party Line: "It is no one’s job to water down or sugar-coat the rise of hate crimes."

So it seems like she doesn't want people to toe the party line, which is good. Except when it's HER party line -- then you have to toe it. Typical politician.

Mexico is different to the US as corruption is more endemic there and everyone is in on it.

The Afghanistan war gets overlooked for some reason. You hear a lot about Iraq though. Everyone assumes we were right to bomb the Afghanis back into the stone age. Well, they were already in the Stone Age, so maybe pre - Stone Age? What was the rationale even? That bin laden was hiding there? Anyway, they eventually sent in Seals to kill him in Pakistan, not sure why Bush couldn't do that in the first place instead of waging war on an entire nation. Oh well.
