The fake letter he probably had sent contained white powder. While it turned out to be Tylenol, I'm pretty sure that could be considered sending a fake bioweapon through the mail.

As well, it was reported the Nigerian brothers had cut up magazines in their apartment, which might match the letter.

That means Jussie very likely commtted a very serious federal crime.

Hah. It will be nice if he does some time but I suspect there was serious pressure from the Chicago PD (still a relatively masculine organisation) to charge the fucker. My bet is that the prosecutor (social justice branch) gives him a sweetheart deal. Guilty plea to a broad, bland charge that doesn't imply the specifics of the wrongdoing (disorderly conduct), no testimony required, good behavior bond and done.

In our current age, it's very rare a celebrity gets punished without them being able to spin it into something profitable. For example, sex tapes used to ruin careers. Now they make them.

I agree with DOBA. I might take back what I said a little bit though. If he refuses to do a guilty plea deal, I doubt a pre-trial diversion will be on the table. He has a prior conviction for a DUI and told police he was his brother instead of giving his own name.

Since he has priors, and it was for the exact same thing, lying to the police, there is a good chance that they might actually prosecute him to the max to make a point. DAs and judges hate habitual liars that waste the court's time.
