There is an entire infrastructure built around helping victims of sexual assault. The "problem" is that since the mid-1990s, the rates of sexual assault have plummeted.

This is acknowledged by both the left and right. Below are links to Slate and HuffPost articles on it. The authors of "Freakonomics" also focused on this in their best-selling book, so it's common knowledge among the chattering class.

So what do you do when your job depends on helping victims, but there are no victims? You create them. To do that you expand the definition of sexual assault. And to do that you create hysteria, making men and normal sexual relationships seem much more dangerous than they are.

#metoo is a consequence of this, as is this lesbian's speech. She might be an unwitting pawn in the larger game, but the goal is the same: Gin up hysteria, get government money and donations.

Again, follow the money.

Women complain about bad men, predatory men, creepy men. Men take them at their word and agree. Woman complains about men agreeing.

The other night, I was across the street from a bar, and a dude was threatening another guy, and two other guys were standing around doing nothing. The threatening guy starts assaulting the guy, and a couple of male employees come out of the bar and chase the perpetrator away.

A minute later one of the cocktail waitresses comes out all *momma ain't gonna stand for this* and immediately starts berating one of the guys who was standing around doing nothing as if she is the one solving the problem.

Women love easy targets and taking credit where it isn't due.

This is definitely a female because that is what they do.

Today's headline in The Baltimore Sun: "Michelle Obama's former chief of staff to conduct sexual harassment training for Maryland General Assembly."

She's apparently going to earn $45 grand for ONE WEEK of work doing this.

Again, I stress that sexual assaults have gone way down in the last 20 years (see links above) and #metoo is a jobs program for women who want to "help" the victims who don't exist anymore.

So, now the "victim" is the woman who gets complimented and feels "unsafe." Somehow, all our mothers survived such insanely hostile work environments and lived full lives. Imagine that.

However, here are the important paragraphs (emphasis mine):

"Last year’s session also was marred by accusations of harassment. A General Assembly ethics committee investigated harassment and assault allegations against Baltimore Delegate Curt Anderson, a Democrat.

Busch referred accusations against Anderson to the committee, citing a "pattern of conduct.” The committee said it couldn’t substantiate the most serious matter, an alleged sexual assault in 2004, but found Anderson behaved and joked inappropriately with seven women.

OMG! He joked inappropriately! All these women who went to college and attended all the frat parties have apparently NEVER heard off-color jokes! Let's spend $45K to help them!! OMG!!!
